POEM ZINE !!!!!!!! this is one of my favorite poems ever, “the loneliest job in the world” by Tony Hoagland through my eyes. There’s lots of little mess-ups and scribbles but I really, really like the end product. There’s a shift between the “accountant of the heart” line and “it is late at night”, and I tried to use the texture of the colored pencils to illustrate that. I’m excited to table with this one!!!!!

collage zine collage zine !!! I was chopping up magazines intuitively with no real goal. I used a 2008 magazine called Monastery Icons, several 2000s beanie baby collector magazines, and a few other odds and ends.

little perzine I doodled in class adapting my brilliant friend Bryn’s poem (@oftintangible on IG) called “Persimmon”. His work will be celebrated by poets across the world one day. I’d like to make a less-scribbled final draft. Maybe move the final stanza to the back ??? And make the last page more….peaceful….. If anyone has suggestions lmk !

MJ LENDERMAN MAGAZINE COLLAGE!!! ARE WE ROCKING WITH THE WRISTWATCH COLLAGE FOLKS ?!? I think I’d like to create a zine with the lyrics…….i wanted to focus on the very vivid imagery of the manosphere that lenderman uses throughout the song and the album……..these are the very ads that perpetuate alpha male culture !!! Woah !!!!! Anyway, I’d ALSO like to have a house boat docked at the himbo dome.

hello !! this is the zine i made at Zine Camp 2024 !! it’s based on The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s song “Maps” !! I tried to fill up each page with more maps than the previous one…… you can sing the chorus in your head if you’d like !!!
