I find it really wonderful and comforting that Mob Psycho 100 is so inherently optimistic, even though its main message, “you are not special” sounds so mean at face-value. Being special means that something matters more than something else of the same category. Being special at baking? Great! Being special at math? Super! Being special at bodybuilding? Neat! Having so many people have such unique special abilities is what makes the world work. But having a special ability doesn’t mean that someone who doesn't match your special ability matters less than you. You can't be special for simply existing, because that would mean someone else isn't. You aren't special because you inherently matter.

was having a minor crisis but this appeared in my head and it was so stupid it just snapped me right out of it

You might see the artstyle in this one is a bit diferent from my other drawings, I was experimenting a bit with another brush for the shadows and my pen wasn't working correctly for the lineart.

I don't think this idea is something new, but I'm obsessed with the concept that Miles just thinks he and Phoenix are in a relationship, with the latter not having the slightest idea about it. We have seen in 2-4 that Edgeworth if physically incapable of saying one thing without meaning other, so I was thinking that after AA2 they go to a cafe a few times and Phoenix says something that makes Miles believe he is confessing his feelings, and answers with something vague about accepting but Phoenix doesn't get it and they just go on with their lifes being unconscious of the misunderstanding.
