Hey there everyone! This is my sister. She's amazing and intelligent and has drive to get where she's going no matter what. This is her site for her to go to London for her study abroad program thingy. Help her please peoples. Because you donate millions of pennies to feed Africa and China that the government over there eats like Wheaties for breakfast err'day. So why not donate your pennies to educate someone who's actually gonna make a difference where you live. Also.... ADDED BONUS!! Oliver is going on this trip with her. He's pretty exited about the idea. But it doesn't happen without you!! :)

Dallas mini vacation
This weekend myself, Dillon, and little Oliver took a trip to Dallas to see a friend get married and spend some quality time with my sister. Most of the time, though, we spent doing fun things and trying new stuff.

Documented above is the first ever taste of In-N-Out Oliver and I have ever had. Dillon talked me into ordering a "4X4", which turned out to be a ginormous burger... Little did I know.

The staff was super cool and welcoming to us.

Oliver even got a hat while we were there :) Special thanks to In-N-Out for being so awesome and making me a deliciously amazing holy cow awesome burger :)

After the library excursion, Oliver visited the residents at Hulen-Clement Hall and had a lot of relaxing fun

The night Oliver arrived back from his not so adventurous European tour in a box,  he helped me and Tyler find books in the stacks at the library for my paper.
Oliver loves the stacks, and so do I. Tyler thinks they're creepy.
Tyler also taught Oliver a little bit about Malaysia's parliamentary system.

So, here's the story...
Oliver was sent to my friend Tyler who was studying abroad in Italy this summer.
Oliver got stuck in customs and took a very long 5 months to make it back home to me. He made it to Italy, but never saw the light outside his tattered little box.
So, when I so excitedly saw the box on my front porch the other day, I gave Tyler the honor of opening it, considering he was meant to in the first place.
Maybe Oliver just wasn't meant to see Italy without me :)

Oliver's cousin Theodore came all the way in from Kansas City to spend Christmas with us this year.  Such a sweet time of the year for family and loving on those you care about :) Forgive me for not posting this at the appropriate time. A little bit of life happened between now and the wintertime.  :)

I detest the way Tumblr made me upload these photos because it does not like multiple photos in one post. But, whatever, I'm dealing.
After we got all checked in at Luxor we decided to be typical tourists and walk the strip. We made it as far as MGM Grand and Las Vegas Blvd and had to stop for that class, cliche picture.

The second day we went to the Mirage for Cirque du Soleil the Beatles "Love" which was absolutely incredible. We had dessert at the Carnegie Deli and some amazing out of this world pickles. Yes, pickles.

The day after that, after a wonderful dinner at Planet Hollywood, we went downtown to the old strip on Fremont Street. But on the way to the bus stop we met some showgirls. Oliver is such a stud.
As for the rest.... Well... What happens in Vegas ;)

Oliver and I recently went to Austin, Tx over Spring break and sadly the only picture I have of him is when we arrived at the hotel. Needless to say, we did tour the capital, have irish car bombs in a pub 6th street for St. Patty's, and hit the malls in Austin, had to visit the other Helzbergs, of course. I hope Oliver grew to love ATX as much as I do :)
Tomorrow morning at 8am sharp we will start the voyage to good ol' Las Vegas. Toodles :)

Everyone has good luck charms, roaming gnomes, and Flat Stanley's they travel around with. I was recently inspired to do something similar, but different. I currently work at Helzberg Diamonds (product placement, no?) and we recieved over Christmas these adorable teddy bears. We named him Oliver. Naturally, every single one of us purchased a holiday bear for novelty purposes, that and he was just so darn cute. I had mine hanging around my room for awhile and *ding* the light bulb came on in my head. Why not make Oliver my roaming bear?
So, with that, I would like to introduce Oliver, the I Am Loved Helzberg Diamonds bear. Oliver has quite an itinerary on his plate until mid -summer. Including trips to visit amazing friends and some kiwi birds in New Zealand and a trip to NYC. A week from tomorrow Oliver and I will be traveling to Las Vegas together to see what trouble we can get into. In all honesty, he'll probably stay in the hotel room while I play the penny slots.
Pictures will follow soon!
