“Miss Lacroix, it is essential that you act as a red herring for this case. You are the only one suitable for the job, and you would be a great help to the Verona Police. This is non negotiable.”

“She’s coping with it. That’s the best way to put it, honestly. But she’s so strong, I have faith in her.”

“I’m sure it is. It’s been the talk of the town, the return of the Princess. How has she been doing, all things considered?”

“One classy lady drink coming up.”

“It doesn’t feel too different, actually. I’m a quarter of a century old, thinking about it is weird. I’m going to be thirty in five years, but I feel as though I’m thirty already sometimes.”

Hero remembered a conversation she had with Mina about trying a bunch of drinks that started with m’s and decided she’d get exactly what Olivia was.“ And I’ll have one of those too.”  She said to the bartender. “ So, how does it feel to be older? Are you ready for an early retirement yet?”
