5 Trendy Restaurants you MUST visit in New York City
So you are going to NYC and wondering where the best trendy eateries are? Have no fear, this post will tell you the most Instagrammable (and delicious!) restaurants in the city that never sleeps.
1. By CHLOE.
Okay, so this is a personal favorite of mine. This vegan café has a wide variety of foods that are all to die for! I have brought countless people here (both vegan and non-vegan) and they have all been impressed by how good the food is! My favorite dish is the Mac N’ Cheese, which is topped with shiitake bacon. That’s right, bacon made from mushrooms; I was skeptical at first too, but I promise you won’t be disappointed!
2. Macbar
Continuing on with the Mac N’ Cheese trend, Macbar is the place to go for great Mac N’ Cheese. They have 12 different flavors for you to choose from, ranging from classic cheese to mayan chipotle. What’s not to love about a place where your pasta comes in a giant macaroni container? (Which makes for great social media pics!)
3. The Butcher’s Daughter
I finally decided to try The Butcher’s Daughter after seeing friend after friend post adorable pictures of their brunches. It is safe to say that I was not disappointed. The location was very modern yet homey and the food was outstanding. I now understand what all of the fuss was about.
4. The Bagel Store
So you probably have seen the rainbow bagels that practically broke the internet. Well, it’s for a good reason! You don’t know what a real bagel is until you’ve had a New York bagel, and The Bagel Store is the perfect place to go. They have rainbow, unicorn and holiday bagels as well as crazy flavored cream cheese spreads. Not only are they yummy, but they look great in pictures too.
5. Black Tap Bar Grill
Black tap also is another example of food breaking the internet. Their crazy milkshakes made headlines everywhere, making the restaurant packed 24/7. Right after the articles came out, my friend and I went to one of the locations to see the magical shakes for ourselves. We were distraught when we found out that it was a 3 hour wait, and we would have to wait on a line that extended 2 blocks down the street… So, we decided to come back another time, and boy I’m glad we did! The shakes, while extremely filling, were delicious and worth coming back for.
