SPOILERS FOR HSR 2.1!!!!

Okay so I saw this post on tiktok about how Ena, the Aeon of Order, who takes the form of a giant eye and a puppet has the same eye as Aventurine and how they think that the Goddess that the Avgin uniquely worshipped was in fact Ena. And as we know, Ena was consumed by Xipe the Aeon of Harmony.

Now this was only speculation because it is stated the Avgin's beliefs were completely separate from the Aeons as a whole but in that case Aventurine, the VERY LAST true pathstrider of Order, going up against the family who are followers of the Harmony is like a last stance against the Harmony for what it has done to him and the Avgin people. Now we already know after joining the IPC he begins to tread on path of Preservation but after the ending of the 2.1 trailblaze mission, he’s switching paths, presumably attempting to “train” under the Nihility just like Acheron did. Early on in their final conversation, Acheron tells him “Under the watchful eye of Nihility, We momentarily linger here (in the Nihility), before moving on to our own paths”. Acheron herself states that the Nihility is a path unlike others, that IX never casts its gaze on anyone, so it’s possible that pathstriders of the Nihility eventually find new paths, which should count as being very unlike other paths where we see people dedicating their entire lives to it (Example, the mara-struck followers of the Abundance).

So then my Theory is, Aventurine will now momentarily seek the Nihility believing that it will teach him his purpose and allow him to grow stronger, possibly seeking revenge against the Harmony for what it had done to him, before moving on to follow the Order again and finally be at peace with himself as the last Avgin. No longer needing to hide behind the facade of the high and mighty gambler within the Ten Stonehearts, ending his arc and involvement in Penacony by proving to the family that they (The Harmony) cannot diminish him (And the Order) so easily. This may come with his further character growth in 2.2/2.3 onward but regardless I’m very excited to see where his story leads!
