⊰ ⦂ ⋰ * ✧ [ ZAC EFRON, THIRTY, MALE, HE/HIM ] have you seen CAMERON O'MALLEY around san francisco? it’s been said that they have been in the city for TWO YEARS and works as a MAGICIAN / MAGIC SHOP CASHIER. if you look closely, you can see that they are INTELLIGENT & ENTERTAINING but look further still and you’ll see that they can also be DISTRACTED & FUSSY.

Hello hello! :) My name is Flora, and I’m super excited to bring you my favorite magician man, Cam. He’s one interesting specimen, for sure. I’m up for all and any connections, and I love to plot.... so feel free to throw all of your characters at me. ^^ {Fun facts: Two of my cats are named after characters from The Hunger Games. One time during a game of red-rover I tripped on my own shoe and face-planted into grass. Another time I was at a water park and slipped on wet concrete /very clumsy, yes).

PERSONALITY:

Intelligent: You get a random fact! And you get a random fact! If you’re ever bored... or you just need someone to talk to to pass the time, Cam is the man for you. He reads a lot in his spare time (when he’s not working or falling asleep on the couch), and because of this he knows a lot about a little of everything. 

Entertaining: I mean. He’s a showman no pun intended, so he has to know how to work a crowd. People do tend to stick around and watch him perform, because he has this personality that makes people want to see what happens next. And yeah, maybe he’s not a big well-known magician yet, but at least he’s able to make many small crowds happy.

Distracted: Cam would probably have his own magic show by now if he wasn’t so damn easily-discouraged and distracted. He’s been rejected from gigs a few times in the past year, and that’s hit him pretty hard in the magic-man ego. People tell him to keep trying, and he appreciates them for that, but sometimes he just needs to hit rock bottom before he gets enough ‘oomf’ try again.

Fussy: Cameron is picky when it comes to who he works with and in general, to be honest. He’s the definition of “I don’t want to go to lunch with you because I know you’re going to complain about the menu and make me want to slap you with it”.

WANTED CONNECTIONS:

A shop regular who comes by mostly to see what new tricks he’s learned.

A person who saw one of his Youtube videos and came to the shop to tell him how great he was. The two quickly became friends, and now this person gives him some motivation when he’s feeling like he’s stuck in one place.

His annoying neighbor. They live in an apartment complex, and the two are constantly bickering because of how different their lifestyles are. 

A high school sweetheart-ish person??? The two went their separate ways before graduation, yet they still manage to run into each other in a city full of several people.

CLOSED CONNECTIONS:

His roommate: Ah, Chloe. The two banter like siblings, and he wouldn’t want it any other way. If he would just practice his card tricks with something other than her hand-bag and sneakers.... that would be great.

“M’ sorry?” To be completely honest, Cam had been standing there daydreaming about nothing and everything all at once. So when the young woman - who looked like one of those beautiful models displayed on the cover of a magazine - nudged him out of his mind, he was a bit caught off guard. And rendered speechless. Minus the awkward question that had left his lips seconds prior and, seemingly, had a mind of its own.

When he finally realized what she was talking about, he let his blue eyes find the disgusting culprit. The man was staring at the young woman so hard, Cam could feel his gaze piercing through her and entering him. Of course, that could also be because the man saw him as a potential threat - and rightfully so - but the point was, the other needed to stop making women uncomfortable.

It was then Cam decided to squat down in a seat next to the stranger. She had asked him a question, and it would be rude not to answer. He just hoped he didn’t sound as awkward as he felt. “I hadn’t really thought about it. It takes me a solid ten minutes to pick an espresso drink in the morning, so…” Ah, yes, the infamous O'Malley tangents. “Maybe I could buy you a drink, first?.”

“if you sit here and make it seem like i’m not ALONE to keep that guy over there–” juliet’s eyes flicker to an older gentleman, at least fifteen years her senior, that has continually been gazing at the twenty-something year old girl and her barely-there outfit from the other side of the bar– “from coming to talk to me, then i’ll buy you a bottle.” the brunette offers a winning smile. another INHERITANCE from her model mother. it’s partially used to try and convince them that she deserves such a KINDNESS, but also to feign a realistic conversation for the sake of the aforementioned audience. she takes a sip from her whiskey neat, other hand straightening her tight skirt. “or even two. what’s your drink tonight?”
