Morgott/Mohg! Morgott/Mohg!
Fine, I shall. I'm a connoisseur of unhealthy dynamics between characters, where one is being used or there's a power dynamic present. I find it interesting exploring the dark side of it, kinda like the Miquella/Radahn, or Miquella/Mohg situation. A familial bond being broken down by a sense of greed and goal orientation, it's intriguing and macabre. I think that's something Elden Ring excels at, complex relationships and the aftermath of trauma
A lot of the ships I enjoy are from a character interaction perspective, rather than seeing a relationship potential, I enjoy ships that aren't super uwu and wholesome. I feed off of angst and it's my life elixir cause it's something I can relate to closely in relationships, either friendships or relationships where feelings are involved
It has a lot to do with me being cluster B methinks, it's very integral to how I am as a person, especially how I was pre-medication
tl;dr

Mohg/Varré!
Ohhughhh, one of my OTPs and a ship I hold near and dear since it was my first real Elden Ring ship. I absolutely LOVE the dynamic between Mohg and Varré, and I love the juxtaposition between how their relationship is during Miquella's influence, and how it could've been hadn't Miquella been a crucial part of Mohgwyn
I like toxic, one sided Varré/Mohg, in which Varré has an unhealthy fixation of Mohg and getting Mohg's validation. I wrote a brief thing exploring a toxic dynamic between the two, in which Varré is struggling with mental health problems in regards of identity and handling interpersonal relationships
I also enjoy the soft, doting side of Varré and Mohg. Varré being Mohg's right hand man after Ansbach, caring for him and maintaining Mohg's health (like helping him preen feathers) or (consensually) offering himself for bloodletting. Varré is special to Mohg, and Varré takes great pride in that and the recognition of his hard work as a Mohgwyn anointer

for the ship bingo: morgott and oleg?
I don't feel strongly for or against it, I think it has potential but I wish Oleg was further elaborated on as a character for me to really get into it. His Ashes confirm that he's hot shit and was taken notice of Morgott for a reason, but I wish there had been more background. As in how was he noticed, where he was noticed, or the circumstances of Morgott allowing someone into his home.
Morgott is the Veiled Monarch, who rules in the shadows, but was Oleg granted audience to speak to Morgott himself? I would like to believe so, since he was given a Erdtree Burial and treated with such dignity even in passing.
What was Oleg's relationship to Morgott like, out of fear or respect (likely the latter, but yk)? Why did Oleg accept the invitation when Engvall didn't? Was he his loyal knight, or the right hand man who stood by his side in during significant decision making?
I LOVE the idea of Shanehaight, the cut content noble who urged the player to kill Morgott when he found out he's an Omen, and him having a questline tied to him. In my personal story, Shanehaight is kept as a character cause I find him so intriguing. I understand why he was cut, but I wish they had kept him post-Morgott fight.
Anyways, if Shanehaight was kept as a character, not an NPC, would Oleg have caught wind of Shanehaight and his intents of killing Morgott after being granted audience? Would Oleg had decided himself to kill Shanehaight, or had informed Morgott prior?
Yapfest but tl;dr I really wanna get into Oleg/Morgott either as a platonic or romantic ship, but I just feel dissatisfied with the lack of lore surrounding Oleg as a character. He is interesting, he has a lot of potential, just overshadowed by other NPCs and lacking the essential building blocks of being a concrete part of crucial bit of ER lore
If anyone wants to shill Oleg/Morgot then please do cause I feel like there is interesting potential dynamic between the two, whether it's platonic, romantic or what not

I really do not like closed species, they're just collectors items and their only value is the money spent, and whether or not they're on a Google doc masterlist
It limits creativity and expression for the adopter, and other artists wanting to design a similar concept
It generates unnecessary discourse and it's anti-creativity at its core. Paying for novelty of having a character with arbitrary traits of a dog with sushi on its back or a plushie dragon. The $20.5k Grem2 drama where the species owner took advantage of the purchasers medication induced manic episode only to receive a fuckugly design
