On his return home to the south of France, Jagger found himself once again locked out of the house. Once he'd finally talked his way in, he wished he hadn't. Bianca, in a jealous frenzy, was brandishing a revolver. After a few tense moments she settled for throwing Mick out of the house.

Poor Brian honestly, I feel a little sorry for him. Also, this photo is incredible. ALSO, I hope you bought this. 5,49!!! This would be so ridiculously cheap in my currency if there was no currency conversion 😭
Philip Norman also wrote a biography of Mick Jagger which is on my to-buy-to-read list 😩 — even if I'm reading a few books at the same time.

went to the bookstore today to find some stuff to read for a project, and decided to drop by the music section.
I don’t think I could’ve created a more apt metaphor for Brian’s place in the history of The Rolling Stones even if I was paid too.

I never saw a guy so much affected by fame. The minute we’d had a couple of successful records, zoom, he was Venus and Jupiter rolled into one. Huge inferiority complex that you hadn’t noticed. The minute the chicks started screaming, he seemed to go through a whole change, just when we didn’t need it, when we needed to keep the whole thing tight and together. I’ve known a few that were really carried away by fame.
But I never saw one that changed so dramatically overnight.

Mick never knew too much about my affair with Spanish Tony. If he had known, I imagine he would have found it measured up perfectly to his contempt for women. He has a very low opinion of them.

Maybe I was meant to say, "Well, why don't we get Keith in here," but watching the two of them going at it wasn't exactly my idea of fun. That would rather have eliminated me, wouldn't it?

what exactly made you cry reading the biographies?
Jagger and Hall spent their first night as a married couple at Rabik's. While his bride got ready for bed, Jagger allegedly made a play for his host's mate. "He jumped me, can you believe it?" the woman later confided to a friend. "Mick tried to make love to me on his wedding night!"
