I’m still iffy on if I want to post fanart on this account but it is for art so I don’t see why not I’ll leave rambles for the other account (but the art I’ve posted there is staying)

Also I’m very lazy and don’t look at references so I probably got stuff wrong (the background is very half assed)

Sanji finds a half finished fanfic about himself and Luffy. He has no idea who wrote it (Robin) but he cannot get it out of his head.

He knows how affectionate luffy is but the idea of himself being the focus of such loving attention does things to his heart.

Consequently he gets twitch around luffy which of catches luffy's attention. Whatever has upset his cook must be found. So luffy is determined to find out what is wrong and hangs off of sanji 24/7.

This is not helping the matter. To make matters even worse he keeps finding more of these little fanfics. (He can't bear to throw them away).

Option a.

Things get turned on their head when it is Luffy who finds the one spicy writing about him and sanji. Which leads him to avoid sanji cause he keeps getting flustered when he sees him now.

Option b.

Luffy finds one of these fluffy writings about him and sanji. He thinks its a great idea to help make sanji feel better.

Sanji a tired hole in the wall type restaurant owner feeds cryptid (real or just a feral child either works) Luffy and ends up with a very odd admirer. Luffy starts bringing him odds and ends he thinks are cool and naive sanji just keeps feeding him cause he looks too thin only deepening luffy's affection for him.

Luffy finds that sanji gets really excited about random fish he brings and gets to taste dishes he makes with them. He finds he could sit for hours on end listening to sanji babble about the fish he brings him.

Snaji mentions one day about a rare fish and luffy goes off to find it. It takes him a good while to find one but he managed to do it. But sanji has no interest in his rare catch. Sanji near had a melt down when luffy didnt return. When every terrible thing that could have happened had had their turn tormenting sanji he even closed the restaurant which never closed even on holidays.

He was so mad but all he could do was hug his weird feral man. He had been so lonely without his visits that not even the presence of his beautiful ladies could bring him solace.

After this once a month the restaurant would close as sanji followed luffy to go fishing for ingredients.

Silly idea

Zoro and Law fighting to impress Luffy (could throw in any luffy ship really). Each fight ends with Luffy without hesitation going to Sanji when he is called.

Sanji just smirks at the useless suitors who still think they have a chance with Luffy as he feeds his captain affectionately.

How many times can luffy steal kisses from sanji and make it look like and accident before he gets caught?

(Probs a 5+1 type story but the idea still stands)

There are some fics that make luffy a sneaky little gremlin and i wish more people could write him like that. Give him an inch he takes a mile before you realize you cant say no anymore to that smile. He seems so innocent (he still is but he is more aware of it) but he then steals an entire chicken before you know it.

The first kiss was an accident. In the middle of battle luffy swung a little too low and ran into sanji. It was brief but luffy was hooked.

Sanji is sanji. Complete denial and ready to kick at a momments notice.

God help him cause luffy maybe a bit dense but his singular focus on his wants is another thing. He is not that clever but he can make things happen.

By the end of it Sanji has managed to avoid Luffy's most recent attempts and he hates it. He can't bring himself to justify wanting these kisses (note he is so deep in denial he still hasnt figured out its all luffy). They were just an accident between him and the captain but he began to look forward to his captains chaos hoping for one more.

+1 its sanjis turn now. Luffy was a but put out that his last few attempts had failed and further attempts seemed even more unlikely as sanji's reflexes started to catch on. He was pouting when all of the sudden a small accident that luffy was too deep in thought to react. Then there was sanji and a brief brush of their lips. A small apology and sanji attempted to scurry off.

Unlike sanji luffy knew exactly what he wanted and in that moment he knew what sanji wanted.

Sanji was done for. Cause in the next moment he was trapped in strong rubbery arms. Pulled tight against luffy's chest there was no brief touch of their lips but a full deep kiss that if luffy hadnt had a hold on him sanji would have melted into the floorboards.

One of the most heartbreaking and powerful moments in all of One Piece.

I don’t care how many times I’ve seen it, the moment Luffy screams,

…and Sanji finally breaks down, it hits just as hard every single time.

Sanji was the first person Luffy ever said that to. That wasn’t just a plea. That wasn’t just about being captain. That was Luffy putting Sanji at the center of his dream.

He wasn’t speaking to a fighter. Or a cook.

He was speaking to family.

In that one sentence, Luffy reminded Sanji of something he had forgotten:
