I was watching a psychological reality show where children and their parents go to a special school for re-education, where the parent and child have to work together to complete various tasks. This is a place where they can finally hear each other, address their emotional issues, and improve their relationship. I imagined what a bombshell it would be if the participants in this show were the children of Shadowhunters and their parents. In the show, there was a task where they had to express their resentment towards their parent/child. It's just that almost any Shadowhunter child will say, "It won't take long." unfolds their long list

Seb complains eloquently for a long time, saying, "I've been beaten, disliked, abandoned, not considered a human being, humiliated, and ignored." Jace agrees with him. Ash reminds him that Sebastian raised him in the same way and never loved him, to which Sebastian responds that it's all Valentin's fault. Valentine has exhausted all manipulative tactics and is as angry as a rabid dog.

Under his father's heavy gaze, Kit expresses his desire for attention and care, but is always met with cold indifference. he asks if he's a mistake in his father's life, if it would have been better if he hadn't been born, and Rook just chuckles. Everyone in the room is confused by the silence and the strange reaction. They're outraged. Luke runs over to calm everyone down and remind them why they're all here.

In fact, the list goes on and on. The most traumatized children come to mind. Oh, and Celine, my poor little girl.

I imagine Hodge throwing a tantrum every time Valentine comes to visit baby Jace, whom Hodge took care of at Valentine's old house (the same house that fell into disrepair after the death of Valentine's parents👀). Hodge genuinely does not understand Jocelyn's dissatisfaction with the fact that Jonathan does not cry, and barely restrains himself from telling her about the real horror of motherhood and endless sleepless nights. Every time Valentine comes to bring food and everything necessary for the baby, Hodge gets furious.: "I'm a scientist, not a babysitter! He's crying all the time! And the roof of this house is constantly leaking! I'm tired of listening to children yelling, I hate children more than I hate downworlders😤😡."

Mr Becker from the “Coca Cola Kid” is actually my perfect head canon for Valentine. He’s exactly how I imagined him both visually and in the way he acts when he was young (TO THOSE AROUND HIM, NOT HIS TRUE CHARACTER) and usually i hate any type of fan cast so to see Valentines character so vividly in someone is very strange

I'm just thinking about how Val raised Jonathan's child (Sebastian): It's believed that Jonathan was such a strange boy that Valentine had to teach him to smile and appear charming. How did he teach him that? Have they studied each emotion and what does it mean?

headcanon: Especially after Jonathan learned to smile and laugh, and he wanted to show it so much that he did it in inappropriate situations. One day Val took him to his parents' grave, and Jonathan started laughing. Sometimes he scared Blackwell and Pangoborn with his unnatural behavior, when he approached them and just stood and stared with his huge black eyes, it was frightening. Okay, sometimes even Valentine didn't know what to expect from him when he woke up in the middle of the night and saw his son standing by his bed and watching him intently (and it seems that this is also canon, that Jonathan likes to watch sleeping people). Jonathan wanted so badly to see where his father was going that he climbed onto the roof, slipped and fell down. Emil, who sometimes looked after Jonathan, was afraid that he had hurt himself, and was about to run up to the child, but Jonathan stood up with a stony face and dusted himself off. He doesn't cry like a normal child. Jonathan began to copy the moody, childish tone when he saw this behavior of another child in the store, when he asked his parents for a bar of chocolate, and they succumbed to this childish manipulation. But Valentine was only annoyed by this behavior…

In the early days, friends from the Circle gathered for a camping trip during their summer holidays:

Robert carried the heaviest backpack with food and all necessary things all the way, was the most tired of all and almost fell asleep sitting by the campfire.

Michael doesn't quite understand how he got into this company, and all he wants to do is go with Robert to the lake, which he found when he was taking a break from the revolutionary speeches of Morgenstern, who didn't stop talking for a minute while they were walking in the woods.

Along the way, Hodge collected rare herbs, telling the first person he met about them, and it didn't matter if his interlocutor was interested in this or not.

Celine was the only one who was genuinely interested in Hodge's knowledge of herbs. She wanted to learn as much as possible about poisonous plants. Valentine joked that she wanted to poison her parents. Then Celine realized that he could see right through her.

Stephen - when everyone is sitting around the campfire, he takes out his guitar. He plays well, but sings poorly, but he makes his friends laugh, and they start singing along to him, scaring away all the wild animals and terrifying the werewolves and fairies who can hear him.

Maryse tries to ask Robert to dance, but he gets tired and falls asleep before he finishes his steaks. She is so bored that she invites Michael to dance with her, asking ridiculous questions about the connection with the Parabatai.

Jocelyn was cooking over a campfire. Lucian was putting everything on plates, preventing Stephen from stealing the food while trying to keep an eye on his parabatai. Jocelyn just rolled her eyes when Stephen talked about how delicious the food turned out to be cooked on a campfire lit by his girlfriend.

Valentine found a bush with black berries and ate them all. He hunted a giant squirrel because he needed a pet that would bring him giant nuts. The berries turned out to be hallucinogenic.

Samuel helped Valentine hunt a squirrel, even though he knew there was no squirrel there. He liked this guy, and he loved spending time with him, especially when he was laughing like an idiot after intoxicating berries. All the fun stopped when Lucian appeared and persuaded Valentine to come down from the tree.

Emil sparred with his younger brother Anson and challenged Lucian and Hodge several times, it almost came to a fight when Anson called Hodge a mom's wimp, but fortunately everything worked out because Jocelyn called everyone to the table.

I need to know what Jocelyn means when she says that to HER SURPRISE , Luke was glad that she was marrying Valentine. In fact, she knew about Luke's feelings, but at that moment she didn't love him?

My first naive thought was that she thought Luke was in love with Val. And I like this idea. But… Even so, why would he be so upset about this wedding?
