The Sacred Peepal Tree
The peepal tree is considered as most sacred in Hindu religion. This is one of the beautiful trees in India and grows to a large size. It is generally found everywhere. The leaves of the peepal tree are very large and very soft to touch. The tree is considered to possess health-giving properties. It is believed that Lord Vishnu and other gods reside beneath it. The peepal tree is worshiped by many Hindus as it is the symbolic representation of gods and goddess-like lord Vishnu, Buddha, Krishna Lakshmi, Bana Durga etc.
According to the Hindu mythology, it is believed that the Trinity god Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva used to hold their councils under the tree. This has led a deeper faith in peepal tree. In Padma Purana, it is explained that the goddess Lakshmi resides in this tree. So the worshipers worship the peepal tree in every Saturday.
There are many rituals connected with the peepal tree. The Bengali women take asvattha pata broto and keep fasting to increase happiness and prosperity of their family in every Sankranti of the bengali calendar. In Rajputana, the married women worship the tree to avoid widowhood.
In Vedic period its woods used as fire vessels and drill for producing sacred fire. in Ayurveda, Peepal tree is signified from the medical point of view. Its bark is useful in Gonorrhea, ulcer and other skin diseases. From its dried fruit a powder is prepared which is very helpful in asthma.
From the scientific point like neem and tulsi, the peepal tree provides the maximum oxygen purifies the environment. It plays an important role in preserving the ozone layer and reducing air pollution. Since it gives oxygen after sunset, it also worshiped in evening.

The mystic mantras
A mantra is a word or set of sounds that was revealed to the sages and transmitted in a precise manner to seekers through the process of initiation. The mantras are immensely powerful in their ability to raise our consciousness. The mystic sound of mantras produces a certain type of energies which protects the person who chants it.
Our life force is indeed combined with the energies coming from the planets in the solar system. So when there is any deficit of these energies the related problems will arise. So when we repeatedly recite a mantra we are tuning to a particular frequency which establishes a contact with the cosmic energy and drags it into our body and surroundings. Thus we balance the energies which promote certain actions and events. It is said that Lord Shiva first revealed the mantras for the welfare of the human being.
There are mantras for everything. But it is said that there is no great mantra than Gayatri mantra which comprises 24 sounds, each loaded with the energy of different type by ancient sages.
As the activities of mankind greatly influenced by the nine planets identified in Indian astrology, the planetary mantras are furnished in this article along with their general purpose.
1 - SUN: Om hraamhreemhroumsahsuryayanamaha
Should be recited for escaping from problems in job, politics, and diseases related to head and paternal related things.
2 - MOON: Om sraamsreemsroumsahchandrayanamah
Should be chanted to escape mental worries, diseases related to stomach and blood.
3 - MARS: Om kraamkreemkroumsahbhoumaayanamah
This is for winning on others, success in vehicle, property dealings, escaping from accidents and improving relations in married life.
4 - JUPITER: Om hraamhreemhroumsahbruhaspatayanamaha
This mantra is for general success in life in all matters, increases respect from others and social contacts.
5 - SATURN: Om khraamkhreemkhroumsahsenayenamaha
Should recite for escaping from ill health, all problems in life.
6 - MERCURY: Om braambreembroumsahBuddhayanamah
This is recited for improving business dealings and communication skills.
7 - VENUS: Om dhraamdhreemdhroumsahsukraayanamah
This mantra makes one improve relations women, artistic talents, and money.
8 - RAHU: Om bhraambhreembhroumsahrahavenamaha
This mantra is to get rid of any confusion in mind, legal problems, and problems from evil spirits.
9 - KETHU: Om praampreemproumsahkethavenamah
This mantra makes one come out of defamation, allergic diseases and sudden happening of bad events.
But it is very necessary to find a divine guide (Guru) for choosing proper mantra which is suitable to solve one’s problems and also teaches how to recite the mantra. Without proper guidance, one should not start chanting the mantras. Also, Mantra chanting for gemstone and Rudraksha are performed before using them for the first time.
