There have been several counts of people being robbed at gunpoint at Poke'stops already. The robbers have been using the Lure Module items to attrack other players to the Poke'stops in more secluded and “ out of the way ” areas

Be safe fellow trainers and stay away from Modules in low populated areas, and never Poke'venture alone !!

We’ve fostered a LOT of cats over the years, so here’s an incomplete list of weird cats we’ve had:

1. An Abyssinian that would jump from the second story banister to land perfectly, and with utter grace, onto your shoulder when you enter our house on the first story (ok, but imagine a cat leaping onto you, it’s terrifying)

2. Satan (her real name is Cassandra) who will only sleep if she is completely under the covers and tucked in

3. Elena, a Kurilian Bobtail, that was so affectionate it bordered on harassment. She would climb your leg for you to pet her and follows people around the house

4. Osiris, a Chausie, that actually plays fetch. No joke. He also responds if you say his name, and has been on the news 6 times so far, in various different cities

5. Dolly, who we actually taught to roll over and sit on command for chicken tenders

6. The kitten that decided to travel down one of the heat vents in our home and my father had to take 3 feet of drywall out to retrieve him

7. One of the cats (still not sure which) managed to eat the insides of a full package of sausage rolls left on the counter but left the bread part totally intact

8. two years after re-homing Lemon the cat, we found her stash of tape dispensers under our living room couch. There were 26 tape dispensers

9. one of the cat’s we re-homed likes to go kayaking with his new human. He has a cat life vest and everything

To start, I am beyond pissed off that google searching “Dr. Shirley Jackson” was corrected to Shirley Ann Jackson. Way to go, google.

Dr. Shirley Jackson was the first African-American woman to graduate from MIT. That would be the same institute astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and physicist Richard Feynman graduated from.

Her research made touch tone phone, fibre optics and solar cells reality. She also made caller ID and call waiting possible.

Dr. Shirley Jackson is a brilliant women who deserves a great deal of recognition most of us are not giving her.

Adulting tips from an adult who doesn’t adult good:

Keep two separate dirty clothes bins. One for clothes. One for towels. That way you won’t have to dig out towels from a mountain of clothes you can just wash a load when you are desperate.

Anything with “pet deodorizer” in the cleaning label can be poured down the sink to kill bad odors kill gnats.

Try to change your sheets twice a month. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t. 

Start a decent first aid/OTC pharmacy when you have some money left over. Disinfectant, aspirin, allergy meds, Etc. You never know when A) you can’t afford a doc atm or B) you can’t get yourself to go to the doc or C) both or D) your idiot friend just decided to snowboard off your roof. This doesn’t have to be a priority.

At some point you’ll have to buy a thermometer. Don’t buy the cheapest one, it won’t last past the second cold of the year.

Get a clock that runs on batteries because lol you will lose power at some point.

On that note, if you have room, get some kind of ice chest/cooler because you will lose power at some point, and while your freezer will remain nice and cold for a day or so, your fridge will not so the ice chest will come in handy because you can always replace the ice but your milk will go sour.

Also on this note: buy a flash light and slowly and surely never throw away a candle. Ever. Ever. Ever. Unless it’s done and then you have my permission. The first time you have to take a shower without power in the dark you’ll thank me.

Also bic lighters are cheap and easy and jfc you have to light candles somehow.

Be on the look out for: cheap blankets, fans, and space heaters. Buy whenever possible. They will save your life.

Bananas go bad quick. Eat them. They are good for you.

If you have a car, keep the following things in it: a towel, a blanket, a change of socks, some cash, a flashlight, and some kind of food like a granola bar. If you have an old cell phone, keep it in there too. While old cell phones won’t have service providers, most (newer) cell phones still allow you to dial 911 despite not being connected to a service.

If you have the space (I have a garage that’s too small for my truck so I use that) and you have a in-home washer/dryer, hang clothes to dry. A) easier on clothes so clothes last longer B) less electricity = less money & less energy usage.

Dryer sheets + rugs = getting out pet hair

Dryer sheets + hair = gets rid of fly-a-ways. (Scented dryer sheets = makes ur hair smell good.)

Towel on a cookie baking sheet = ironing board (I’ve also heated up a skillet and used it as an iron in a frantic last minute freak out)

Keep extra toilet paper within arms reach of the toilet

Writing a novel when you imagine all you stories in film format is hard because there’s really no written equivalent of “lens flare” or “slow motion montage backed by Gregorian choir”

So yeah, I have a bit of drama for tri.-timeline and I hope Toei don’t fail on me because I need Daisuke having a breakdown or lack of courage so he can learn with his mistakes. Because 02 never explored that at all. Yeah, we have him having a breakdown in 02 ep 11, but that’s not enough. And most the fandom likes to despise Hurricane Touchdown movie and the CD Dramas….

So allow me explain more about this possible consequence of Daisuke’s mistakes:

- He blames himself for everything that happened to them (= Miyako, Iori, Ken and him) when alone; - The others think it’s everything okay because he’s good at faking smiles. He’s a good liar; - Gets afraid of committing the same mistake again, and end up killed. Or losing someone (his friends, V-mon, their partners, a Chosen fellow, an innocent life); - Lack of courage that makes him want to stop fighting, but he refuses to give up. It’s an inner battle between two Daisukes: One wants to fight and fix mistakes, another wants to quit and let the older/former Chosen solve it because he and his team had failed on their mission; - Rage that leads him the desire to fight, to fix everything. Maybe mixed with a bit of revenge, but he’s not vengeful; - More gambling, perhaps to prevent the others to get involved again. Risking his own life for them.
