Thoughts on “Poor Unfortunate Soul”

Okay but I actually really liked this episode!

-I don’t actually mind that they kinda ripped off the little mermaid? It still had a nice twist to it I thought.

-Little bit sad that it looks like the Besties of Darkness have broken up a bit but I’m happy that they’ve at least proved now that the author isn’t the only one who can bestow happy endings.

-High fives to whoever decided to give Hook actual growth episode! I love Hook but it seems like he only gets proper development in his centrics, but I am happy with him right now at least.

-I’m still not digging the Scarlet Beauty but I adore Will with all my heart and I treasure his scenes still, same with Belle

-Emma’s reaction to being told she was Hook’s happy ending was the absolute sweetest thing and I loved it

-On that note, the show addressed my problem with the author storyline (that Hook seemingly had his happy ending despite being a villain) so at least that’s fixed ish

-Is August sticking around? I wasn’t fond of him but I actually like having him back

-Cruella is so entertaining to watch I want her backstory sooooooo badly

-Still have no idea how they’re gonna fix Rumbelle…hopes are dwindling a bit…

Next week is another Snowing episode! Unpopular opinion but I actually like the Snowing centrics, they’re a tad bit fluffier than the others…

Once Upon A Time Rewatch: 4x15 Poor Unfortunate Soul

I needed more mermaids luring people into danger!

I love August. I missed him! I needed more of him! Would have been cool if he’d ended up with Emma!

Why was the dragon looking for the Author, I wonder. Maybe to find a way to be reunited with his daughter? We never did find out who his daughter was. Now I desperately need to know! I know at the time the speculation was that it was either Mulan or Lily. Well, Lily’s dad is Zorro, but it could still be someone random.

Okay, Regina possessing Snow is creepy as hell. I’m getting live action Scooby Doo movie vibes. Now posses Hook! Lol.

I feel bad for Belle. She didn’t know she was being deceived. That must have come as a shock.

I’m confused as to where this occurs in Hook’s timeline. He said he’s been seeking revenge for almost a century. So, I guess he must have returned from Neverland. But then how did he not seem to age despite Ursula ageing. Was he just taking a trip away from Neverland on one of Pan’s errands? But then, he said he spent years seeking a way out of Neverland. 

Glowerhaven? I wonder if that’s in the Enchanted forest or elsewhere.

Hook was being so kind to Ursula at first. It makes me sad that he betrayed her.

Oooh. Mermaids can open portals in the sea? Or just Ursula? Cool!

Hook’s hair looks so good when they take that sack off his head. 

Why is Ursula’s dad so freaking controlling?? Trying to take away a part of her that she loves! That is an awful thing to do!

So is he Hades and Zeus’ brother in this?

I don’t get Regina’s dream. Why would the eq throw fire at both Regina and Robin. Regina thinks the eq was trying to protect Robin but from who, Regina? Interesting. Was this a prophetic dream for season 6 with Wish Robin and Split Queen? 

Lol. Were Maleficent and Cruella just creepily watching Regina sleep? Well, I guess Regina did it to MM back in season one xD.

I’m guessing Rumple stole that from the fairies.

It took Ursula so many years to get that part of her back.
