I thought elders could use some randomness in their final fate. Made 3 semi-random events for them:

live longer

die early

get sick

Early death branches into:

sudden "heart attack" followed by - death by fright, or - death by drowning if they happened to be swimming at the time

decreased age duration followed by death of old age the next day or so

At first, it was going to be sort of a coin flip once a day deciding whether a playable elder dies prematurely, or gets an additional day of life, or keeps living for the allotted time. Turned out a little more detailed and configurable

Sickness is not as impactful, just something to highlight old age problems. It's a maxis style disease curable by soup and rest (thinking of realistic medical conditions made me sad and I stopped)

Extended "Tell a Story..." Interaction

A small default replacement (of sort) for this Apartment Life social. The original includes five "stories", each boosting a hobby and relations with a an AL social class: -> "Mechanics", tinkering, Gearheads. -> "Art", arts & crafts, Bohemians. -> "Sports", sports, Jocks. -> "Computers", games, Techies. -> "Economy", film and literature, Socialites. I added five for the missing hobbies; reusing the social classes: -> "Camping", nature, Gearheads. -> "Baking", cuisine, Bohemians. -> "Health", fitness, Jocks. -> "Science Fiction", science, Techies. -> "Orchestra", music and dance, Socialites. All the new stories use custom sprites in their speech bubbles. These are from the Sims 2, 3 and 4. Their action strings have localization for French and Russian. Other game languages will display the basic US English. I also renamed the "Economy" story to "Celebrity" in the English localization. I replaced its sprites as well as some of the "Computers" story's. The preview image shows one of the "Celebrity" sprites. Internally, the mod replaces components of the existing interaction: BHVs, STRs, TXTRs, and the OBJD (but not its GUID). The only new resources are additional textures. As far as I've tested, it should be safe to remove. The game will simply go back to using the original "material". All my cc that I made/used for my Cold Issue Clothing funky revamp! What you get: • 2 recolors of the H&M display shelves • 3 recolors of the H&M wall displays • 1 recolor of the NL biz sign Everything is separate and labeled so you can delete anything you don’t need. Credits: • Google shopping images for the animal print, shiny fabric, and sequin textures • @franzillasims for the simlish fonts used!

All other textures hand made by me :)

‣ My Crypt O' Night Club CC Extras (SFS) | Alt (MF)

As promised, I will be sharing all the cc I make for my own nostalgic/Maxis match save! What you get: • 2 new arcade games: House of the Undead (based on the Sega classic the House of the Dead) and Blood Bank Burglars (an original concept with the screen based on Pac Man) • 2 recolors of the AL Straight Molded Cornice in a goth/vampy palette Everything is separate and clearly labeled so you can delete anything you don't need. Credits: • @shastakiss for their conversion of the late night arcade cabinet mesh, and texture which I used as a template! • @franzillasims for the simlish fonts used! Belladonna Cove is a mess

My ideas on how to improve it:

Carlos Contender as a romance sim, he has 3 previous lovers coming back to pester him further

The Cordial sisters never made up; they found the house on a roommate searching site and agreed to two roommates: the advertiser, and "one currently being searched for". On move-in day they found out that a) the second roommate is the other twin and b) the advertiser died the day before via murphy bed

Geoff Rutherford and Connor Weir get their personalities switched. Also Connor becomes a family sim

Ana and Ramir Patel are deleted

A Medieval Castle is finally done

I have finally completed this monster. 3 scrapped rough drafts and many hours later, it is done. It's entirely CC free, and I tried not to put in too many items in fear of lag. It doesn't lag at all for me, but it's a massive lot so I wanted to err on the side of caution. It's fully furnished but not overly so (at least in terms of how I usually decorate lol). I have also deleted a couple of the outside walls because when you're looking at the actual castle/house/church, I don't want to look into those walls, and deleting a few means that they stay up. It's not the prettiest looking, but they sort of look like archways?

This lot is intended for Berrybury, the Veronaville subhood I've been working on, but some ToTers over in Simscord wanted it so I figured I'd put it up as a standalone lot as well.

There is absolutely no CC in the lot, however I did use that one giant Maxis chandelier which can apparently throw errors when you first load the lot. Just delete it and replace it, NBD.

It's a big lot, fill with CC at your own peril!

Welcome to Berrybury!

Have you wanted to play Veronaville but hated that there are so few families? Don't like marrying in townies? Or maybe it's simply too small? Berrybury was specifically created to solve these problems!

Berrybury is intended to be a subhood for Veronaville (but also comes as a mainhood), continuing the Shakespearian themes and old English style buildings. There are 6 families to start, and none of them are related. There are also plenty of community lots, fully furnished empty homes, and empty/starter homes.

Empty Version as a main hood

I have discovered that you can't actually name a subhood anything you want, it has to start with a B to be a shopping district, which finally fixes the issue of the subhood yeeting itself, but removes the storytelling images. I don't feel like fixing that right now, so it'll remain a mainhood only until I get around to adding all the pictures back. I'll leave the subhood version up but you will need to rename it to get it to stick around. I'll also upload the version that does stay but has no images. I've definitely downloaded subhoods that don't start with a B so idk why it's doing this but it's giving me a headache so I'll deal with it when I buy more coffee.

Categorized as glasses.

For toddlers to elders, all genders.

They glow in the dark.

Meshes by LordDragonStone and SemiCharmedQuark included.

Textures are 1024x1024, pretty big. I only made three recolors for each type, feel free to add more.

Did you accidentally make your fence too short, and now there's an ugly extra fence post in the way? Think you'll have to rebuild that whole section of fence to get rid of it? Worry not!

Simply attach another piece of fence to the post you want gone...

... and then manually remove it. The fence post will be removed as well.

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but I only figured it out recently and it's saved me a lot of building time/mild annoyance!
