Weekly Recap #60 (December 17 - 23, 2018)

It’s the second last week of this year, but TWICE still has a packed schedule this week, filled with exciting performances at award shows with possible award wins for them!

Here’s what happened this week:

December 17: It is Monday again and Music Station today posted the official lineup for the Super Live on December 21. TWICE isn’t just performing a single song – they’re doing a special medley! We can’t wait to see what they have planned!

In the Gaon Girl Group Review of 2018, TWICE ranked #1 in both physicals and digitals for the 2nd year in a row, and they are #1 overall in Gaon rankings as well. In addition, TWICE is expected to maintain #1 in 2019!

On the Genie Music Year End Chart for 2018, ��YES or YES” spent 7 days and “Dance The Night Away” spent 4 days on #1 on the Daily Chart. In addition, “What is Love?” And “Dance The Night Away” took the #18 and #19 spot for “Most Streamed Song”. With that, TWICE is the only idol group with two most streamed songs on the chart!

TWICE has also been confirmed to be part of the archery lineup yet again at the 2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships. We are sure that our archery queen Tzuyu is going to do an amazing job again~

Lastly, the official goods for TWICE’s 1st Album “BDZ” Repackage have been released today and there are so much to buy! Have you already decided which merch you want to use your money for?

December 18: On Tuesday, NAVER released their 3rd set of pictures from the M/V shoot for The Best Thing I Ever Did and the pictures are stunning!

December 19: The 14th episode of TWICE TV 2018 has been released today and in this episode, Jeongyeon went out with her sister Seungyeon to buy presents for the other members as a sign of support to give them strength. In the end of the episode, Jeongyeon ended up crying because she felt bad for the other members. Please don’t cry Jeongyeon, you have done amazing this year~

In response of the new uploaded episode, Chaeyoung and Sana updated TWICE’s Instagram account with pictures.

TWICE was mentioned on the news today, regarding them being #2 on the Gallup Korea Top Artists survey for their 3rd consecutive year since 2016.

The game app TWICE – GO! GO! Fightin’ has been released today, but it is sadly only available in Japan.

December 20: TWICE has been confirmed to attend both days of the Golden Disk Awards on January 5 & 6 in 2019 and “Heart Shaker” is nominated for the digital award, while “What is Love?” Is nominated for the physical award.

The girls are also going to attend KBS Gayo Daechukje on December 28, where Dahyun is going to be a MC and TWICE is going to be part of a JYP special stage. We are looking forward to it and we are certain that Dahyun will do an amazing job as MC!

TWICE flew to Japan for Music Station Super Live 2018 tomorrow.

In the meantime, at the first Korean Popular Music Awards, TWICE managed to win a Bonsang and they won Song Of The Year 2018 with “Heart Shaker”. This is their 11th Daesang since their debut!

TWICE’S 2019 goals were released and our 9 angels never forget that they want to be together with us, with ONCE~

Behind The Scenes pictures of Chaeyoung from Dispatch’s Maknae’s Christmas Party have been released and our strawberry princess is glowing!

December 21: The first episode of TWICE TV The Best Thing I Ever Did was released today.

TWICE also performed a special medley of 3 songs on Music Station Super Live today and it sounded amazing! They never fail to surprise us with new stages~

Their new game TWICE -GO! GO! Fightin’ is now the #1 downloaded free game app on the Japanese App store just 1 day after the release!

Today also marks the first anniversary of “Merry and Happy”. We could never forget ONCE’s Christmas carol of 2018~

December 22: Saturday starts off with the release of pictures of TWICE at the YouTube FanFest Japan.

“The Best Thing I Ever Did” is now #1 on Olleh TV Music Chart for the 4th week of December with no promotion at all! It is doing amazingly despite just being a gift for ONCE! With this song, TWICE now has 8 songs in the Top 30.

The girls had a stage on KBS Entertainment awards where they performed “YES or YES”!

Sadness manager posted this photo of TWICE from 3 years ago (around the time she became their manager) and captioned it: “Thank you God ”. She will always be TWICE’s manager by heart and we can not thank her enough for all her work!

December 23: Mnet released TWICE’s Ending Finale Self Camera at MAMA Hong Kong today and the girls still had tears in their eyes after they won Song Of The Year with “What is Love?”.

In the evening, the girls attended the first pre-recording for SBS Gayo Daejeon and at midnight, Dahyun had to attend the second pre-recording for her MC role.

Weekly Recap #59 (December 10 - December 16, 2018)

It's already Sunday and the end of a week full of events. It's the week of the release of The year of “YES” and we are so excited to see what type of song the girls have made this time, since it is the first time for them challenging the R & B genre! We are sure it's a bop either way!

Here's what happened this week:

December 10: TWICE released the song preview for their new title track “The best thing I ever did” today and it sounds amazing! The song sounds like the perfect song for the time around Christmas~ In addition, TWICE finally released the 9th and last episode of TWICE TV “YES or YES”! It's the episode of our lovely maknae Tzuyu!

December 11: On Tuesday, TWICE flew to Japan for the YOUTUBE fanfest today and for MAMA Japan on Wednesday.

Besides that, the previews of the new songs in their special album and the online album cover have been released! The new songs are “The best thing I ever did” and the korean version of “Be as ONE”.

TWICE has also become the only one among all Girl Groups to appear in the Top 10 of Gaon Album Chart for 2018, with "What is Love?" at 343,909 copies! It is no surprise because the album and the title track are flawless.

TWICE was also confirmed to be on the lineup for '2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships' and we honestly can't wait for their interactions with each other and other idols during the event~

Later that day, the girls updated their instagram to remind ONCE that TBIED is going to be released tomorrow~ We would not have forgotten it without the reminder, but we always appreciate it when they think about us.

December 12: The day has finally come! Today is the release of TWICE's gift for us ONCE and the M/V is so beautiful! There is just nothing better than seeing the 9 girls being happy together~ And the best thing we ever did? It's definitely meeting these 9 talented girls!

Aside of the M/V release, TWICE attended MAMA in Japan and won the “Favorite Female Dance Artist” and “Worldwide Fan's Choice TOP 10” award! Their performance was called “The Greatest TWICE Show” and we think that there is no better title for any TWICE performance. It really lives up to its name!

Furthermore, TWICE pulled out some special stages for MAMA! MiMo performed the SOTY of 2013 “Bounce” and MiSaMoNa performed “Bad Girl Good Girl”! The sub-unit stages were incredible.

December 13:  Today, TWICE wished JYP a Happy Birthday with a video message on his instagram account and it seemed like he was incredibly happy about it. 

 NAVER also published the first pictures from the M/V shooting of “The Best Thing I Ever Did” and the pictures could not be any better! 

 TWICE was also confirmed to attend KBS Gayo Daechukje on the 28th with Dahyun being a special MC! We are looking forward to it and we are certain that our cheerful Tofu will do a flawless job~

December 14:  Today is a day which will go down in history! NAVER released yet another new set of photos from the M/V shooting of „The Best Thing I Ever Did“.The M/V of „YES or YES“ just hit 100 Million views on Youtube today. Continue to stream it and also don't forget to stream their new M/V! 

 TWICE attended MAMA in Hong Kong today, despite not being announced in the official lineup. 

They won several awards which are “Best Dance Performance Female Group“, “Best Female Group“, and „Song of The Year“ with their title track „What is Love?“! 

This is the third consecutive year in which they have won the award “Song of The Year“! We are so proud of our girls, their hardwork throughout 2018 really paid out. With this daesang, TWICE has now won 10 daesangs since their debut!

December 15: TWICE flew back to Korea after their appearance at MAMA in Hong Kong today and they got 3rd on MBC Music Core today with „YES or YES“. The song is still doing well even one month after its release!

December 16: It's already Sunday and the end of a week full of events. Today, TWICE was confirmed to appear on JTBC 'Kids These Days' today at 10:50PM KST. In addition, it has been announced that the girls are going to have a special stage together with Red Velvet at SBS Gayo Daejeon on the 25th December! We can not wait to see it! 

Just as yesterday, TWICE got 3rd on SBS Inkigayo. 

 Nayeon and Chaeyoung went to record for SBS 'The Fans' aswell.

Weekly Recap #58 (December 3 - December 9, 2018)

Happy December ONCE! It’s the start of the cheery holiday season and Twice surprised all of us with the best gift of all, a comeback!

Here’s what happened this week: 

December 3: To start the week off strong, teasers were dropped! A group photo was released, showing all the girls in elegant outfits sitting around in a room filled with gifts! They didn’t stop at just one, Twice dropped multiple different group photos to really feed Once well this season. Please bless your eyes by looking at the visuals below: 

Dahyun’s behind the scenes episode of “YES or YES” TWICE TV  was released! Check it out to see her majestic purple hair and adorable quirks! 

To further tease fans of the new comeback, Twice released a tracklist teaser with the second track on the album covered! For those interested in purchasing the physical version of “The year of ‘Yes’”, a preview of the album was released.

It’s not surprising that Twice’s impact goes beyond Korea, but they confirmed their popularity status by placing on Japan’s Tower Records’ Best Sellers of 2018. With “BDZ” placing FIRST on the domestic K-pop album, “Wake Me Up” and “Candy Pop” taking the top 2 spots on the K-pop Singles list, and lastly, “What is Love?”, “Summer Nights”, and “YES or YES” placing 2nd, 4th, and 6th respectively on the Korean album chart. 

December 4: Another day, another set of teasers are released to feed Onces everywhere! This time, individual teasers for the three oldest members of Twice, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Momo!

Today was also the start of pre-orders of albums! Get those albums! Give JYPE your money! Check out the behind the scenes of their Show Champion broadcast of “YES or YES”! Were you one of the many Once who were in love with their Japanese track “Be as one” and wished you could listen to it in another language to love it even more? Well you’re in luck, Twice revealed the 2nd track of the album to be “Be as One” Korean version on their tracklist preview!

December 5: The second day of individual teasers brought more surprises and visual explosions! This time, It’s Sana, Jihyo, and Mina’s turn to slay everyone!

Twice was also nominated for contender for number one on Show Champion! Furthermore, they placed 8th on the most tweeted about chart of 2018 on Korean Twitter! Making them the only girl group on the list!

December 6: On the 6th day of December, my love gave to me.... THREE MORE TWICE INDIVIDUAL TEASERS! For the final round of teasers, Twice maknae line’s teasers are revealed!

Good news for US Onces were released! TWICELAND the Movie was released to a select number of theaters across the country! Check out the list here! Before the premier of the movie, Twice went live on V-live also!  Chaeyoung’s “YES or YES” TWICE TV episode was released! Sana and Dahyun also made an appearance on SBS “ We will Chanel You”! 

December 7: The week of teasers continue as Twice release more teasers, this time in different units of members!

A more detailed version of the album preview was released! Twice was also revealed to be the MC to ISAC in January of 2019! Twice appearance on TV Asahi  "Music Station Super Live 2018" on 21st December was confirmed! Curious about the behind the scenes of the amazing Beanpole Ad? Beanpole released a making film to show extra shots of the incredible ad! As an incentive to go watch the movie, Twice pledged to perform “The Best Thing I Ever Did” live if 50,000 people go see TWICELAND the Movie in theaters!

December 8: The first video teaser of their new comeback was released! Watch it here! Twice also released a preview of the photocard included in the physical version of the album! Once Japan members gets 2nd priority to apply for the Twice Dome Tour in 2019! Twice celebrates their second consecutive month of placing 1st in the brand reputation ranking!2018 Twice Lotte Duty Free is Star Avenue Event!

December 9: The second version of the video teaser of “The Best Thing I Ever Did” was released! Also, the CD preview was released too!

Twice was also featured in this week’s popular KBS show “2 Days 1 Night” for a short talk with the members of the show! 

Nayeon gave a glimpse of the music video set with her Instagram update!

Twice won 3rd on Inkigayo with “YES or YES” despite the song’s initial release over a month ago!

Weekly Recap #57 (November 26 – December 2, 2018)

Another era of TWICE has ended, but as soon as it ended a special comeback was announced. The Year of “Yes” was announced as the last comeback of the year.

Here’s what happened last week:

November 26, 2018 - TWICE’s 2019 season greetings “The Roses” previews and preorders were released. The last stage for Yes or Yes was broadcasted and so ended the Yes or Yes era. 

Jihyo’s Yes or Yes TWICE TV was released and Momo’s Yes or Yes dance competition winners were announced. Congratulations to those who won! A miracle happened as Mina also updated twicetagram.

November 27, 2018 - On Tuesday, TWICE appeared on the variety show Night of Real Entertainment. JYP also posted more behind the scene photos from Yes or Yes Music Video on Naver!

TWICE further announced their own mobile game for Japan. “Twice go go fightin” is a puzzle type of game similar to candy crush.

November 28, 2018 - TWICE went on to win Artist of The Year, Best Artist, and a fabulous award at the Asian Artist Awards. Congratulations to our immensely hard-working girls. 

Earlier that day, an interview for “Twice go go fightin” was released.

November 29, 2018 - Afterwards Chaeyoung, Momo, Tzuyu, Sana and Jihyo updated twicetagram with their outfits from the Asian Artist Awards. 

A second preview for TWICE’s upcoming movie TWICELAND was released and shortly after, it was announced that TWICELAND paid premiere and stage greeting sold out in a minute. 

Yes or Yes held its top spot on Gaon social chart for the third consecutive week. Sana and Dahyun also appeared on SBS’s We Will Channel You

November 30, 2018 - TWICE flew out to Guam to perform at MBC kpop concert. Meanwhile, TWICELAND’s movie schedule was released. 

JYP also posted the 8th behind the scene photos for Yes or Yes era, this time it was during the recording for Show Champion and Inkigayo.

 Before the day ended TWICE posted a video of members dancing on the beach on twicetagram.

December 1, 2018 - On Saturday, TWICE asked ONCEs what was the best thing that once ever did, which led a lot of suspicions within the fandom if it would be anything related to their next comeback. 

With TWICE being scheduled to perform for MBC’s Kpop Concert in Guam, Nayeon and Momo appeared on Vlive prior to the concert. After the concert, Nayeon appeared on Vlive again. As a thanks to ONCEs for an amazing concert TWICE uploaded an OT9 selfie on twicetagram.

December 2, 2018 - With the week coming to an end, TWICE’s appearance on KBS open concert, which was filmed on November 13th, and SBS Running Man was broadcasted.

Sana and Chaeyoung updated twicetagram showing ONCEs that they really know how to spend their free days. 

TWICELAND movie is 3rd on CGV movie’s pre-purchase charts with a 5.7% rating.

Despite the end of Yes or Yes era, the song was still nominated and won second place in Inkigayo. Congratulations, TWICE!

Weekly Recap #56 (November 19 – November 25, 2018)

It’s already the last week of the comeback promotions! The time flew by so fast, but we had an amazing time together with TWICE once again! The performances at music shows were so exciting to watch and their live vocals were unbelievable!

Here’s what happened this week:

November 19 - Right at the wee hours of Monday morning, IU’s #1 fan Nayeon uploaded an IG story proudly showing her IU lightstick together with a fan of IU. Later that day, Korean news pages reported about TWICE’s appearance at IU’s concert.

The 3rd episode of TWICE TV YES or YES was released today as well: This time the whole episode was about Momo.

Momo and Sana also posted some pictures on IG, they are getting prettier and prettier with each day~

The day ended with a Vlive preview of Chaeyoung attending Dispatch Christmas ‘Maknae Line’ tomorrow!

November 20 - Tuesday started with us being blessed by Naver releasing pictures from the M/V making!

The Mnet Asian Music Awards released their first relay quiz featuring TWICE as well.

Paper Magazine also released an article about how TWICE went bold!

Moreover, Chaeyoung went live on Vlive with maknaes from other girl groups for Dispatch’s Maknae Christmas Party! 

Once again, Jihyo, Chaeyoung and Sana uploaded some new posts on IG! Aren’t they all pretty?

Later at midnight TWICE released a Twiceland movie preview for the upcoming release in Korean cinemas and it looks so awesome!

November 21 - TWICE received their 4th win with YES or YES today at MBC Show Champion and they deserve it so much!

M2 released the YES or YES selfie M/V as well and there is just nothing more beautiful than seeing TWICE up-close~  

November 22 - Now that this year is about to end, TWICE finally showed us some previews for their 2019 Season’s Greetings which is called “The Roses” and we must say that TWICE are even more beautiful than any rose to exist!

The day then started off with yet another episode of TWICE TV “Yes or Yes” featuring Sana!

Just a bit later it was announced on TWICE’s Japanese Twitter Account that they will be appearing at the Youtube Fanfest on December 11 at Makuhari Messe in Japan.

They posted a preview picture for the pre-order of the Season Greetings at midnight. Is your wallet ready?

November 23 - TWICE went out today for the KBS Music Bank prerecording at 2:30PM which was broadcasted later at 5:00PM where they were able to achieve #2! They are doing great despite a month packed with anticipated releases!

MBC Show Champion released a photo of the girls posing with their trophy from Wednesday and they look so happy with it!

Moreover, there were more photos of TWICE uploaded on Naver but this time during TWICE’s comeback stage at M Countdown! 

TWICE also updated us with videos on IG while they are in the waiting room at Music Bank!

Later that day, M2 finally released the M/V Commentary for the YES or YES music video and it is so much fun to watch!

November 24 - On Saturday, TWICE’s schedule just consisted of their fansign at Hyundae Department U-Plex Jade hall which Tzuyu was sadly not able to attend due to her health condition! Get well soon Tzuyu!

Throughout and after the fansign, Chaeyoung, Momo (1) (2), Nayeon, and Jihyo updated us on IG by showing off Once and the gifts they’ve received at the fansign.

They also revealed a more detailed preview of the 2019 Season’s Greetings!

November 25 - The week is about to end already and with it, another era is about to end. Today is TWICE’s goodbye stage for their promotions at SBS Inkigayo where they changed their OK pose at the end of the song to a finger heart!

They were able to end this amazing era on a high note by getting #2!

The girls also went on Vlive during their free time and we were able to see their dorky and funny side once again.  

After the music show, the girls had their last fansign at Glad Hotel and this time Tzuyu was able to participate again! We’re happy that she was able to recover fast!

Once again, the members (1) (2) went to Instagram and updated photos and videos of themselves thanking ONCE for their constant support throughout Yes or Yes era!

Even after their schedule, Momo decided to go on Vlive where she watched entries for her dance challenge she announced at the end of last week and she had so much fun watching ONCE dancing to YES or YES!

This day marks the end of this era, but don’t be sad! Another era will come soon and it will just be as amazing as this one was!

Weekly Recap #55 (November 12 – November 18, 2018)

It’s already the second week of TWICE’s promotion for their new album YES or YES and we are so excited to see what this era has to offer for us during this week!

Here’s what happened this week:

November 12: The week starts off with the awaited first episode of TWICE TV YES or YES and it looks like the whole episode is about our fake maknae Nayeon today! She did so well during the M/V recording! 

TWICE tweeted about “TWICE x Apple Music – Best of the Week” and Mnet released special pictures of our girls during their comeback stage on M Countdown. They are becoming more beautiful with every new comeback it is unbelievable! 

On the same day, the news was released that TWICE has now officially sold over 2 Million albums just in 2018! Their album sales are going through the rooftop! 

Jihyo and Mina made their announced appearance on the broadcast of KBS Hello Counselor today and it was confirmed that TWICE is going to guest at MBC Running Man again.

November 13: Tuesday starts off with TWICE pre-recording their performances for KBS Open Concert. 

Our girlies also managed to peak on Oricon Weekly Chart with YES or YES which is the first time their Korean album getting #1 on the chart! Congratulations! 

Episode 13 of TWICE TV 2018 was released today as well where Jeongyeon threw the first pitch at a game of the LG TWINS this year. 

BEANPOLE SPORTS updated their Instagram account with pictures of TWICE, wishing luck for those taking their college entrance exams this year! 

TWICE has been spotted filming for SBS Night of Real Entertainment today which is planned to be aired on the 27th! 

The girls are about to bless us with lots of new content this era and we love it! In the evening 2Yeon went live on Vlive! 

The day ended with NAVER releasing their 3rd set of pictures from the M/V filming of YES or YES and Mnet posting their MAMA interview with TWICE! Let’s hope that the girls receive the awards they deserve!

November 14: TWICE released the ScreenX poster for their upcoming Twiceland movie and, we finally got the dance practice video for “YES or YES” we waited for! 

TWICE announced on their Japanese Twitter account that they are have been invited to NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen again this year for the 2nd time! 

Today also marks the first win for our girls with YES or YES at MBC Music Show Champion! Their hard work is paying out already and we are so happy for them! 

Jeongyeon and Sana also made a guest appearance at Starry Night Radio today and Mnet released yet another MAMA teaser video with TWICE’s J-Line. 

In addition, today TWICE managed to surpass 2.5 Million album sales just in 2018!! 2018 really is their year~

November 15: Today marks the 6th anniversary since our maknae Tzuyu has joined JYPEntertainment. Time flies by so fast and Tzuyu has grown up so much! 

TWICE announced not only a repackage for their Japanese album “BDZ”, but also their tour dates for their dome tour in Japan in 2019! 

TWICE TV “Yes or Yes” Episode 2 was also released today and it featured Jeongyeon! It was a really fun episode with more behind the scenes clip from “Yes or Yes” MV filming!

Furthermore, TWICE received a Triple Crown on Gaon chart with YES or YES and ranked #2 on Billboard Japan for ‘Top Artist’ for the first half of this year! 

Our 9 angels got their 2nd win with YES or YES at M Countdown today and JeongHyoTzu were the special MCs for today’s broadcast and they moderated the show so well! Mnet also released our School Meal Club’s interview for MAMA and TWICE’s relay dance to “Yes or Yes”!

TWICE also received the ‘Outstanding Song of the Year’ award for Wake me Up from Japan Record awards.

Lastly, JYP uploaded a video of TWICE’s lovely dance version of “Yes or Yes” and they are indeed the loveliest! 

November 16: The day started with dispatch releasing a teaser video of Chaeyoung for their own Maknae Christmas party with other maknaes from other girl groups!

 It was announced today that TWICE is going to be guests at IU’s concert this weekend. Nayeon is excited for sure! 

Naver had also released the 4th TWICE’s “Yes or Yes” behind the scene photos but this time it was during their comeback stage in M Countdown! 

BEANPOLE SPORTS updated their Instagram account today with a video of Mina! She looks so amazing in her sportswear~ 

On KBS Music Bank, the girls managed to get #2 with YES or YES. It’s not a win, but still an amazing result with the current competition.

November 17: It’s already Saturday and MBC posted their interview with TWICE for Show Music Core today, but there was no winner announced today, due to the cancelling of the show. 

TWICE attended their first fansign event for this era at Nuri Dream Square today and spent a great time together with ONCE! In the evening, Momo went live on Vlive and held her traditional dancing class for YES or YES and showed us how one should dance! 

Sana, Momo, and Jihyo also visited Jeongyeon’s home and played with their pets and it looks like they had a lot of fun together~

November 18:

It’s already the last day of this week and this morning, Dispatch released their “TWICE X Dispatch” YES or YES Making Film on Vlive. 

On the same day, our dancing machine Momo released her YES or YES dance video on twitter! She’s such an amazing and talented dancer! 

At SBS Inkigayo, our girls managed to get their 3rd win with YES or YES and on the evening, they attended IU’s concert and even had a guest performance on the stage!

Besides that, YES or YES reached yet another milestone and surpassed 70 Million views on Youtube.

With that, TWICE’s second week of promotion for “Yes or Yes” ended with tons of updates and news of the girls! We can’t wait for more TWICE updates for next week!

Weekly Recap #54 (November 05 – November 11, 2018)

It's the first week of the comeback and as usual; TWICE has broken a few more records of their own but more than that! YES or YES is such a bop and it has been an exciting week for the girls and us fans!

Here’s what happened this week:

November 05 - TWICE released the MV for their new title track ‘Yes or Yes’ from their 6th Mini album with the same name. 

On the same day, Mina uploaded an IG photo reminding ONCEs that they’re going to meet for the comeback showcase. They performed their past hit songs and played games with ONCEs and finally showcasing their new release ‘Yes or Yes’ as a finale.

Just right after the comeback showcase Momo uploaded some photos in IG to tell ONCEs that she was touched with the cheers from today’s event.

Aside from all that, Mina’s Beanpole Sport making film was released.

November 06 - On a tuesday, Naver released TWICE’s ‘Yes or Yes’ Jacket making photos. They just get prettier and prettier with each comeback.

Dahyun’s Beanpole Sport making film was uploaded to Beanpole sport instagram. She’s just as cute and energetic as ever!

November 07 - This was a special day! TWICE won 3 awards in MBC Plus x Genie Music Awards and THAT includes a daesang or major award! Also performing their new song for the first time in national television.

The girls had their first radio show appearance in SBS PowerFM Choi Hwajung’s Power Time and talked about their daily episodes including Tzuyu pranking Jeongyeon with her birthday gift.

November 09 - It’s a FRIDAY! and Momo’s day! And their second Music show appearance for ‘Yes or Yes’ in KBS2 Music Bank~

JYPFans revealed some unreleased Photo’s of Momo for her birhtday and that’s just the start of the photo flood.

November 10 - The weekend is here but TWICE still keeps on a tight schedule and attending a JYPE staff’s wedding just might be one of them.

in the same day, Jihyo posted in instagram a series of chats. A conversation of her mom and someone who’s posing as her to get money. Jihyo was obviously not taking any more of this and JYPE also released a statement about infringing their artist’s privacy. Hopefully, the poser gets caught and the girls’ private lives remain private.

Momo: Off stage

It’s known for a fact that Hirai Momo is one of the hottest idol in today’s K-pop industry. Named to be one of the top dancers by big names in the dancing field and even by her co-idols themselves. Hirai Momo always sets any stage she’s steps on, on fire.

But it’s also a known fact that Momo off stage is one the biggest baby in TWICE despite her being the third eldest in the group.

She had a strong image during sixteen but after debuting she’s not quite as most of us had imagined. She’s much softer, and cuddly underneath that toned abs and defined muscles.

Momo likes any form of skinship with the members and isn’t shy to make it known. She would cuddle with them, give kisses or just anything to show her affections.

She might look tough and all strong and charismatic on stage but the members both younger and older tend to look after her a lot.

Chaeyoung used to bring her water to drink but Momo wouldn’t because according to her water is tasteless and she prefers soft drinks better because it had taste.

When Jihyo was asked about who among the members needs the most care, she asked the members back and Jeongyeon pointed at Momo. Being Momo’s roommate, they have mentioned a lot of moments where Momo gets scolded by Jeongyeon.

But looks after her anyway~

She have a palate of a kid, still very fond of teddy bears and dolls-

Particularly boo and barbie.  The members knew, giving her a barbie doll as a gift clutching it so close to her chest which also almost made her cry.

She even names her bears like the one she adopted from Singapore, bearing.

She pouts really cutely that you can’t help but scream SOFT!

Momo was sulking and whining because the only mission she’s good at is being taken away from her. Just listen to it! For clearer skin!

For the new stans, never let her on stage persona fool you!

We wish Momo very happy birthday! Eats a lot of good food and may your heart’s wishes be fulfilled!

Weekly Recap #53 (October 29 – November 4, 2018)

It was Jeongyeon’s birthday this week! Also, the final set of teasers rolled as we came closer to TWICE’s comeback on November 5. The girls had a light schedule heading towards the new month.

Here’s what happened last week:

October 29, 2018 – Momo posted her Cruella inspired outfit from “ONCE Halloween” on Instagram. We really loved her style~

Tzuyu updated Instagram too, thanking fans and G.O.D member, Park Joonhyung, who made TWICE’s VCR for “ONCE Halloween”.

October 30, 2018 – The posters and some photocards from TWICE’s upcoming mini-album were shown to fans. The excitement was now almost overflowing~

October 31, 2018 – Teaser video “E” for “Yes Or Yes” was released. Mina’s English voiceover has us all extremely excited!

TWICE arrived at Mongolia. However, the purpose of the visit was unknown to ONCEs.

Beanpole Sports updated their Instagram with a group photo of TWICE, along with a video of Nayeon, from the behind the scenes of the CF shooting.

November 1, 2018 – It was a very important and big day today! Second eldest, Jeongyeon, turned a year older! Happy birthday to our super talented Yoo Jeongyeon~

The day was filled with plenty of Instagram posts by TWICE members, sharing their treasured photos of Jeongyeon with ONCEs! Jihyo started this, with a video of herself, showing off the lovely necklace Jeongyeon had bought for all TWICE members. She also posted some precious photos of her!

Following Jihyo was Jeongyeon’s roommate, Momo. She posted a few photos of makeup she’d put on Jeongyeon. Also, she thanked Momo for taking care of her – how adorable~

Nayeon was next up, giving us a whole load of photos that only make us adore their friendship even more. She also mentioned that Jeongyeon was waiting for her kiss late at night. Nayeon told us all about the secret, Jeongyeon!

Chaeyoung posted two polaroids that made us all go soft, as Jeongyeon cuddled a dog. Thank you for sharing the precious photos with us.

The last person to share photos was Sana, who also added a cute video as well. ONCEs were truly spoiled by TWICE to see all of these beautiful photos.

JYP Fans added to sharing of pictures, giving ONCEs never seen before photos of Jeongyeon for her birthday.

The upcoming album details and inclusions were shared with ONCEs.

November 2, 2018 – Teaser video “S” was uploaded on YouTube, showing ONCEs more of the slick dance moves featuring in the song.

Jeongyeon posted on Instagram, thanking everyone for the lovely wishes for her birthday!

November 3, 2018 – The intro for “Yes Or Yes” was given to fans, eager to listen to the full song!

TWICE were revealed to have a special emoticon on Twitter for their “Yes Or Yes” comeback. The pretty yellow dice only increased the hype for their album release.

The girls returned from Mongolia.

Sana was next up for Beanpole Sport’s CF behind video.

TWICE’s episode on Knowing Brothers was aired. The girls seemed to have heaps of fun with the games, along with the dancing!

November 4, 2018 –  The “Yes Or Yes” album medley was published, allowing ONCEs to hear teasers of the masterpieces present in the album!

Jihyo and Mina’s episode of Hello Counsellor was aired.

TWICE performed “BDZ” on NHK Shibuya Note.

“Cheer Up” hit 300,000,000 views! Well done ONCEs~

Jihyo was the last member who had their behind the scenes video from Beanpole Sports uploaded for this week.

Jihyo uploaded beautiful selfies and asked fans if they watched their episode on Knowing Brothers, along with whether or not ONCEs were excited for the comeback. The answers were only yes or yes!

Tzuyu showed off Jihyo’s scarf that was knitted for her, posting a series of selfies on Instagram. So much cuteness~

Jeongyeon exposed Tzuyu’s sneaky present for her, which was nicely placed in an iPhone X box. She was very thankful for the lovely gift!

The week came to an end with TWICE’s comeback hype at a high level. MAMA voting has begun, so ONCEs, let’s get voting!

TWICE’s Mom, Jeongyeon.

When we think of Jeongyeon, we immediately think about her no-jam jokes and her dorky behaviour (which we definitely love). And if we’re not thinking of either of those, it’s her girl crush image. But, behind all of that is a truly amazing personality. It’s the little things that she does that show how caring and lovely she is.

But before we get to that, let’s not forget how gifted she is too. From her vocal range to her lyric-writing ability, Jeongyeon has shown us time and time again that she is filled with talent. She has writing credit for both “Love Line” and “Sweet Talker” – and now “Lalala”, a song from their next album!

The other members refer to Jeongyeon as “TWICE’s Mom”. She’s always the one looking out for all of them: ensuring they’re not too cold, cheering them up when they’re sad, and making sure they clean up their messes.

Here are some of the things we cherish about Jeongyeon - when she has shown her kind nature that has definitely won our hearts over.

1. Jeongyeon is always there for support 

When we see Nayeon and Jeongyeon, they’re usually either arguing or playfully teasing each other. And while she may bicker with Nayeon the most, Jeongyeon never fails to offer a hug when Nayeon needs it.

From Sixteen, to their first win with Cheer Up, to TWICELAND, Jeongyeon always takes care of Nayeon, being her pillar of support when she needs her most. Like Nayeon once said, she would marry Jeongyeon because she wouldn’t be able to survive without her.

2. Jeongyeon has the patience to explain things

Because Momo still has some difficulties understanding Korean, Jeongyeon occasionally explains things to her. For example, when they were on Running Man, and rules needed to be explained more clearly. (Also, when telling Tzuyu about the animal she was dressed up as).

Jeongyeon and Momo share a telepathic connection with each other, with Jeongyeon being able to understand what Momo wanted even without the need of verbal connection (which even surprised Jihyo!). 

3. Jeongyeon gets concerned over injuries.

Jeongyeon and Sana. These two are commonly known as the “230s line” (they both have the same shoe size) and we always see Jeongyeon trying to run away from Sana’s overflowing affection.

Despite their on-screen mischief, Jeongyeon doesn’t think twice when reacting when Sana is hurt. During a “TT” era fansign, Sana hurt herself while using a Kendama toy. Jeongyeon was quick to reach out to her, checking for any injuries she might have incurred from hitting herself.

4. Jeongyeon is considerate.

It can be said that Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo have one of the strongest bonds in the group. And like how Jeongyeon bickers with Nayeon, she also teases Jihyo (or gets teased by Jihyo). Their friendship is adorable and admirable (they even have matching bracelets!).

Being the second tallest in the group has perks, most of the time. In one episode of TWICE TV6, for example, Jeongyeon jumped up just to get a bear off the shelf for Jihyo. (Bonus: Jihyo asked her to put it back)

5. Jeongyeon takes care of co-members/concerned over injuries

Mina injured her foot prior to the TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park concerts and struggled with walking up and down the stairs. Jeongyeon did not hesitated to help her, offering her hand as support.

Since Mina is someone who tends to be in the back a lot, there might be times where she could be excluded from a moment. However, Jeongyeon tends to take notice when such things happen and brought her back to the front so she wouldn’t be left out from the group.

6. Jeongyeon doesn’t hesitate to protect anyone

Jeongyeon is the one who always chases insects away (but she also teasing uses them for pranks). In a recent show with Dahyun, despite Jeongyeon’s fear of insects, she didn’t hesitate to use a bottle to move one away from Dahyun, who was visibly terrified. 7. Jeongyeon provides words of encouragement and compliments

Commonly known as No-Jam Bros, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung share a special bond...their hilarious jokes. Not only that, the two of them both have received writing credits for contributing song lyrics, and have even collaborated on a song together!

Chaeyoung is always teased for her height and small stature, but Jeongyeon often offers her shoulder to her and has even confessed to liking shorter people. She never fails to compliment Chaeyoung whenever she has the chance to!

8. Jeongyeon always keeps an eye on members

Jeongyeon always keeps an eye out for others’ wellbeing. At a Pocari Sweat Festival last year, Tzuyu’s skirt started to rise up a little bit too high because of the wind. Jeongyeon held it down throughout the festival, making sure to prevent a potential wardrobe malfunction.

Her friendship with Tzuyu is adorable to see, as Jeongyeon always does her best to include her in conversations and be a responsible sisterly figure. She’s also expressed how grateful she is for having a maknae like Tzuyu, which only makes us love their relationship more.

9. Jeongyeon really cares about ONCEs as well

Winter time in Korea gets really cold. When it was the first snow during “TT” Era, she tried to cover fans with her umbrella during an outdoor mini-fanmeeting, and even gave away her hand warmer!

Occasionally, she may be the last person at fansigns to say goodbye to the fans as well, asking if they’ve eaten and if they’re taking care of themselves. She always considers and asks about ONCEs, no matter where they are.

TWICE: Weekly Recap #52 (October 22 – October 28, 2018)

It’s teaser time! “Yes Or Yes” teasers have been steadily released throughout the past week. We also had news of a repackage album of “BDZ” for December!

Here’s what happened this week:

October 22, 2018 – A lovely announcement to start the week off: TWICE will be releasing a repacked album for “BDZ” at the end of December! It will feature their special OST “Stay By My Side”. We can’t wait for it~

A making video for the song was also uploaded on YouTube.

October 23, 2018 – The first group teaser for “Yes Or Yes” was revealed! TWICE-themed game boards? Sign us up!

It was confirmed that TWICE’s comeback stage for “Yes Or Yes” will be held at Genie Music Awards on November 6.

TWICE’s 2019 Japan Season Greetings, “TWICE Airlines” second teaser video was released.

Jeongyeon updated Instagram with a song suggestion for fans.

October 24, 2018 – Pre-order for “Yes Or Yes” began.

Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Momo’s teasers were the first solo ones to be published.  

The composer of “Yes Or Yes” was revealed to be the team of David Amber and Andy Love. David Amber previously worked with TWICE for “Heart Shaker”. We’re sure it’ll be amazing!

TWICE were announced to be appearing on JTBC Idol Room.

TWICE’s CF with Beanpole Sports was released.

ONCEs were blessed with a series of photos from Sana, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, and Jihyo, pointing out their baby hair. Thank you for always working hard, baby hair.

Momo uploaded a video from TWICE’s Beanpole Sports CF, showing off her lovely freestyle dancing.

Jihyo and Momo took cute photos of Chaeyoung while she was reading. Pigtails really look cute on her!

October 25, 2018 – Sana, Jihyo and Mina were next up for the “Yes Or Yes” solo teasers.

Jeongyeon’s OST, which she sang with her sister, Seungyeon, was released to the public! What beautiful voices both sisters have~

More songs from TWICE’s next album were released, making fans excited! Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, and Jihyo all had a part in lyrics writing for the songs. The members are all truly talented! We can’t wait to hear all of the songs~

October 26, 2018 – Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu finished off the solo teasers.

The final songs from the “Yes Or Yes” album were revealed. There are a total of 7 songs in the mini-album, which also includes a Korean version of TWICE’s Japanese song “BDZ”.

October 27, 2018 – Another group teaser was released for “Yes Or Yes”, this time, featuring pretty dresses.

Some of the photocards (Jeongyeon, Sana, and Jihyo) from the album were shown to ONCEs.

Momo uploaded a video on Instagram, with co-members trying to offer her a lip balm for her dry lips.

Jeongyeon updated Instagram, looking forward to seeing ONCEs the next day for their 2nd anniversary fanmeeting.

Chaeyoung and Momo showed the venue for the fanmeeting, posting a video on Instagram. They also informed fans to stay warm with hot packs and that they were looking forward to it.

October 28, 2018 – A new set of solo teasers were released.

Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu

Some of the CD plates (Nayeon, Mina, and Tzuyu) were revealed. The three album covers were also published.

TWICE held their 2nd anniversary fanmeeting, “ONCE Halloween” where they all dressed up for the event. We hope they had a lovely time with ONCEs!

TWICE: Weekly Recap #51 (October 16 - October 21)

Many tears were shed as it was TWICE’s 3rd anniversary this week. With an anniversary Vlive and Instagram spams from many members ONCEs were well fed. Simultaneously ONCEs could feel their wallets becoming lighter with the announcements of the comeback date of Yes or Yes comeback, BDZ fan merch, TWICE AIRLINES season greetings, and ONCE Halloween fan merch.

Here’s what happened last week:

October 15, 2018 – To start the week TWICE announced commemorative merchandise for their first Japanese album BDZ.

Sana updated twicetagram with with stunning pre-recording photos from their DTNA performances.

October 16, 2018 – It’s TWICE’s first day for their BDZ arena tour in Tokyo! The venue was filled with cheers thanking all ONCEs who were with them for the first day.

Next up a costume event for ONCE Halloween was announced! We’re excited to see who or what TWICE and ONCEs will dress up as.

Chaeyoung also updated their twicetagram talking about her short bangs that she plans to grow out. A member also uploaded a photo of tired TWICE wishing everyone who was reading to have strength for tomorrow.

The fans’ hearts were warmed for TWICE’s honesty towards their fans. Both the girls and the fans get strength from each other. It’s really a bond like any other!

And last for instagram updates, Dahyun also uploaded a photo telling everyone that they’ve worked hard for the day.

Later in the same day, a teaser for TWICE AIRLINES season greetings was dropped. We can already feel our money flapping away~

October 17, 2018 – Halfway through the day, Nayeon uploaded photos of her with their manager. 

Wednesday was the final day for their BDZ tour in Tokyo. This concludes their first ever Japan Arena Tour! Congrats girls and rest well!

NaMo (Nayeon and Momo) posted a video on Instagram to celebrate the completion of their tour in which they toasted over “apple” juice.

But just when you thought TWICE were going to slow down with their Japanese promotions they announced a 2019 Dome Tour. They’re the first girl group to ever hold a Japan Dome tour. Making everyone even prouder with this feat.

Dome tour plans consist of 2 days in Tokyo dome, 1 day in Nagoya dome, and 1 day in Osaka dome. More details to be released in November.

October 18, 2018 – Thursday saw the release of the ONCE Halloween merchandise list. With Pre-Orders running from October 18th to October 25th.

TWICE was also confirmed to attend SBS Gayo Daejeon on December 25th!

October 19, 2018 – Friday came the feast for ONCEs as many members flooded Instagram with pictures and videos.

Firstly, photos of Momo seductively eating a snack that was taken by Chaeyoung!

Next up is a group polaroid of TWICE celebrating the completion of their first Japanese Arena Tour along with the dancers that has been with them all through out the tour.

Later that day Dahyun updated also Instagram wishing everyone goodnight.

Just before the day changes and hit their 3rd year since debut, Nayeon and Momo did a vlive with Jeongyeon who came in a little later. They were adorable and casually talking with the fans with Momo dozing off in the background.

October 20, 2018 – Saturday is TWICE’s 3rd year since debut!

As soon as the clock struck twelve, JYPE released a special anniversary video that recapped many early moments in TWICE’s career, and at the very end was a surprise spoiler for their upcoming 6th Mini album since debut ‘Yes or Yes’!

Tzuyu uploaded a photo of her and a sleeping Momo on her shoulder, telling ONCEs that they’ll see each other later for the Hi-Touch event.

TWICE held a BDZ Hi-Touch event in Japan early in the day and held a Vlive right after to spend a few hours with ONCEs for the 3rd anniversary!

ONCEs were also flooded with a bunch of instagram updates from the girls. We feel really blessed!

“We’re the brightest when we’re together”, Chaeyoung sends a message to her co-members. Also thanking Onces for the past 3 years.

“ 🍭🍭🍭 You’ll be together with us forever, right? #yesoryes”, a member captions this photo of TWICE celebrating together.

And of course, Our leader won’t miss to say hear felt words towards the members and ONCEs during this day, mentioning that they learned a lot from each other, laughed and cried and made memories together. Thanking all the fans that looked after them and cheered on for them, “Because of ONCEs, i’m assured and happy” she adds. Lastly, saying that she always wants to be together like this. She never fail to make the fans cry with her words. All the members did really well! Thank you so much for the past three years!

The other members won’t lose in terms of content, Starting from Dahyun uploading a funny video of herself taken by Chaeyoung dancing to the beat with her eye-catching purple hair.

October 8, 2018 – TWICE’s next comeback music video was reported to have already been completed! So fast~

It was also confirmed that their comeback would be in November, a little less than a month away!!

October 9, 2018 – TWICE was confirmed to attend the 2018 Genie Music Awards, which will be held on November 6th.

October 10, 2018 – “BDZ”, TWICE’s first full album in Japan, earned a Platinum Certificate from RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan). This is their 5th consecutive Platinum! Congratulations to TWICE!

The Japan 2019 Season’s Greetings “TWICE Airlines” was announced. Pre-order also began.

Momo updated Instagram with pictures from the behind-the-scenes of “TWICE Airlines”. We love the outfits!

Jihyo posted on Instagram, showing that she was streaming IU’s new song “BBIBBI”, and suggesting ONCEs to have a listen too.

October 11, 2018 – TWICE’s comeback was confirmed for November 5th.

Momo shared a cute video of her and Chaeyoung (and a bonus bit with Sana and Dahyun) on Instagram.

October 14, 2018 – Tzuyu uploaded a few selfies on Instagram that featured a make-up look advised to her by Jihyo.

TWICE’s Arena Tour in Kobe came to an end, with the final performance done today.

Jihyo posted on Instagram as the last concert in Kobe finished.

ONCEs had a hard time choosing a new profile picture today, with plenty of beautiful selfies posted on Instagram by Nayeon! Why choose one when you can choose all?

Weekly Recap #49 (October 1 – October 7)

TWICEtober is here! It’s the start of a new month – a big one too, with TWICE’s 3rd anniversary happening towards the end. TWICE’s Arena Tour in Japan continued this week in Nagoya as well!

Here’s what happened this week:

October 1, 2018 – Dahyun posted a video on Instagram with Momo, from their concert in Chiba.

October 2, 2018 – It was TWICE’s first day of their Arena Tour in Nagoya.

October 3, 2018 – Day 2 of TWICE’s Arena Tour in Nagoya was held.

Nayeon TV Episode 3 was released, and this time she attempted to find Momo, only to end up finding Jeongyeon instead.

October 4, 2018 – ONCEs were shown the secret behind Jihyo’s lovely photos – which were taken by none other than our eldest, Nayeon! So many angles, such dedication! Thank you for showing us who took the beautiful Instagram photos~

The outcome of these photos were also posted up by Jihyo on Instagram, showing off Nayeon’s amazing photo-taking skills.

Jihyo completely spoiled ONCEs with additional photos of herself with Nayeon, along with another post consisting of photos of the B-cuts from “BDZ” of herself. Thank you for the blessing!

Nayeon was up next with her update on Instagram, a lovely selfie of herself in denim overalls.

Jeongyeon posted a video of herself on Instagram eating a Korean favorite, “jjajangmyeon”.

October 5, 2018 – TWICE piqued fans’ interest with their post on Instagram, featuring the members in the dance practice room. Was it preparation for a concert or their comeback? Hmm…

ONCE CANDY ticket sales opened for ONCE Halloween, TWICE’s fanmeeting.

The week came to an end with a lighter schedule. TWICE will have more Arena Tours in the following weeks for “BDZ”.

Weekly Recap #48 (September 24 - September 30)

As another month comes to an end, ONCEs everywhere are hyped for the oncoming TWICEtober month! Let’s see how TWICE wrapped up the month of September:  

September 24, 2018 - To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival (Chuseok), a few TWICE members posted many pictures on their official Instagram to show ONCE what they have been up to for their short vacation.

September 25, 2018 - ISAC started airing today, featuring MC Nayeon as one of the hosts on the panel! 

Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu participated in Archery for the show but unfortunately lost to Red Velvet during the semi-finals. However, they were able to score a few ten during their rounds, which made Nayeon scream in joy from the hosting panel. 

Sana also joined the others and updated the fans on her whereabouts during their short vacation on their Instagram!

September 26, 2018 - Lotte Duty Free released the behind the scenes video of their recent commercial with TWICE! Check it out to see the members in adorable retro outfits.... Nyam nyam~

Beanpole released new pictures of TWICE new campaign with the group. The new photoshoot features the members in fluffy jackets and warm winter fashion~

September 27, 2018 -  It was Chaeyoung and Jihyo’s turn to bless our Instagram feed with updates! Chaeyoung posted a short video of herself with Dahyun, while Jihyo shared pictures of her posing with flowers and an adorable dog!

September 28, 2018 - Momo made an appearance as a special guest judge on “Dancing High.” As expected of our dancing queen! 

TWICE’s special fan meeting, ONCE HALLOWEEN ticketing information was released! ONCE Candy members will ticket on October 5th while ONCE Jelly members will ticket on October 8th!  Good luck to everyone ticketing! 

The first day of TWICE 1st ARENA TOUR 2018 "BDZ"! TWICE official kicked off their tour in Makuhari, they prepared a great show for ONCE even with the heavy rain! 

September 29, 2018 - Day 1 of Chiba concert started! TWICE continued on their arena tour in Japan with another stop, giving ONCEs more amazing performance and serving gorgeous visuals. 

Chaeyoung updated their official Instagram to show off her beautiful blue eyeliner to all the Once that couldn’t see it live! 

September 30, 2018 - Unfortunately, the Day 2 of the Chiba concert was cancelled due to a typhoon. We hope everyone near areas affected by the typhoon stays safe!

Weekly Recap #47 (September 17 – September 23)

A few big things happened this week! “TT” hit 400,000,000 views and TWICE rewarded us with the V-Live we’ve all been waiting for! It was also our eldest member’s birthday!

Here’s what happened last week:

September 17, 2018 – The start of the week was with a bang, as “TT” finally hit 400,000,000 views – making them the first ever girl group to cross this mark! Congratulations to TWICE, and thank you to all the ONCEs who streamed hard for this~

TWICE attended “Music Station Ultra FES”, performing songs “Candy Pop” and the Japanese version of “TT”.

Jihyo updated Instagram with a video of herself, along with a picture of herself, Mina, and Tzuyu. Those shades really suit them!

Dahyun also rewarded fans for achieving the views for “TT”, posting some lovely selfies on Instagram!

ONCEs received their special V-Live from TWICE, keeping to their promise. No embarrassing pictures were shared, but we did get to see Dahyun’s eyelid makeover.

September 18, 2018 – Chaeyoung was next in line for “Beanpole Sports” Instagram update.

Jihyo posted a video of herself and Jeongyeon on Instagram; we loved their styling!

“NHK” started their daily video posting of TWICE’s members. Jihyo was up first, showing off her cuteness!

September 19, 2018 – TWICE TV 2018 Episode 12 was released, giving ONCEs a treat.

It was Dahyun’s turn for the following “NHK” video. We can’t get enough of these videos!

September 20, 2018 – Maknae Tzuyu was the last member to be part of the solo “Beanpole Sports” Instagram updates. It was a lovely series!

September 21, 2018 – It was announced that TWICE will be singing an OST for the Japanese drama “Shinya no Damekoi Zukan” and we were given a couple of sneak previews from the recording! We can’t wait to hear it~

September 22, 2018 – It was Nayeon’s birthday today! Our fake maknae turned a year older. We hope she had an amazing day~

JYP Fans gifted fans with many never-before-seen photos of Nayeon!

Birthdays mean plenty of Instagram posts, and Jeongyeon was the first one to upload! Their friendship is truly adorable.

Following up, Jihyo shared her photos, and joked about going with Nayeon and Jeogyeon to a hotel next time for Nayeon’s birthday.

Momo was next in updating, being grateful for Nayeon for always taking care of her. Our Mo-photographer truly is talented~

Im Nayeon: Is she actually “Rank 9”?

No one can deny the charms of TWICE’s eldest member, Im Nayeon. Whether it’s her gorgeous visuals, adorable bunny teeth, shining eyes, or captivating stage presence, fans can’t help but fall in love. Underneath her super idol suit is a side that only TWICE and ONCE knows of – the dorky and childish Im Nayeon. “Rank 9” is the title given to Nayeon by the members, referring to her ranking in the group. No one is sure what the title really means, but being “Rank 9” made Nayeon all the more relatable and lovable in the eyes of ONCEs. For our bunny’s 23rd birthday, here are some of Nayeon’s best moments that debunks her “Rank 9” title.

1. Dynamic With Her Members

Sometimes Nayeon, the eldest member, doesn't feel like the oldest member at all. While South Koreans usually maintain a sense of age hierarchy when interacting with their peers, Nayeon is known to be on a friend-level with even the youngest members – so much so that they joke around as if they were actual same-age friends! ONCEs are well aware of Tzuyu’s playful relationship with Nayeon. Tzuyu isn’t afraid to play around with Nayeon, when asked “which member takes care of you the most?”, Tzuyu answered, “Everyone but Nayeon.”

2. Unique Charms

In TWICE’s first reality show, TWICE’s Elegant Private Life, the members had a cooking mission, and Nayeon took a long time to complete the simple task of cutting strawberries. Upon further inspection, however, Jeongyeon discovered that Nayeon was had been using the knife upside-down. It was a very cute moment and also proved how much of a  “Rank 9” Nayeon really is. It’s moments like these that makes Nayeon seem more human and not just a beautiful idol on stage.

3. Aegyo Queen

When we think of aegyo, how can we forget the person who made everyone’s heart flutter with her three-lined acrostic poems? Even though she started her iconic three-lined acrostic poems during SIXTEEN with her name, Nayeon was able to bring back this trend when she made a memorable clip on Running Man after doing a three-lined acrostic poem with Kim Jong Kook’s name. She was able to show that even as the eldest member of the group, she’s able to move hearts with her cute ways.

4. Born To Be an Idol

Recently, many gifs of Nayeon have been going viral on different platforms. Known as the starter of many TWICE songs, Nayeon always has the camera pointed to her during the intro. Her bright smile flashing her adorable bunny teeth and eye smile always captivate the audience’s attention. Her energy on stage makes it enjoyable for both fans and non-fans to watch her dance and sing. This natural ability to shine on stage has led to many claims that Nayeon was born to be an idol, and we couldn’t agree more.

5. Her Duality

As mentioned before, Nayeon has a lot of aegyo; but what makes Nayeon even more amazing is her ability to transform on stage and pull off any concept! One of TWICE’s legendary stages, a cover of Beyonce’s “Partition,” allowed Nayeon to shine alongside with Momo, Sana, and Chaeyoung. She did a complete 180 degree flip of concepts compared to the normal happy TWICE songs and totally nailed the sexy concept.

6. Love For Kids

It’s an understatement to say that Nayeon love kids. It is a well-known fact among the fandom that Nayeon really adores babies. When TWICE was filming for TWICE TV 5 in Switzerland, Nayeon unsurprisingly greeted every baby she saw on the streets and even brought a baby back to the dining table with the group. Not only does Nayeon love kids, but kids really seem to love her back too! During TWICE’s short appearance on Return of Superman for the 2016 KBS Entertainment Awards, Nayeon was showered with kisses from Sian and even took photos with him after the shoot.

7. Imitating Other Members

Nayeon has brought lots of laughter with her impersonations. Whether it’s the cute way Momo talks, the way Mina squats in front of the fridge at night, or Sana’s happy jumping, she has shown accurate depictions of her members’ behaviours. This shows that she pays a lot of attention to them and that every member has their own unique quirks. She knows all of their little habits, proving once again how close the TWICE bond is. 

8. Self Love

Ever since she was first introduced in SIXTEEN, Nayeon told the viewers with an acrostic poem of her name that Nayeon is a good girl to date. Nayeon has been a self-loving queen ever since debut, showing great confidence in her looks and capabilities. During a V-Live, she proved she was the queen of self-love by flipping to a page with her own photo in a photobook and reacting to how beautiful she looked. She often showcases her ethereal visuals by sharing selfies on TWICE’s official Instagram, taking away everyone’s breath with every post.  But even though she seems to have great confidence in herself, she always makes sure to work hard during practice and on stage, giving ONCEs a great performance every time.

9. Spoiler Fairy

No comeback season is complete without TWICE secretly spoiling everything – with or without their manager’s approval. This lights up the detective senses in many ONCEs, who scan through every pre-comeback fancam and V-Lives for possible dance move spoilers. The biggest spoiler fairy of them all is, of course, Nayeon herself, who has secretly spoiled key dances for many title tracks. Even though this desire to spoil ONCE has gotten her in trouble with the managers, nothing can get ONCEs excited for comeback season like coming up with theories and watching every move Nayeon makes. (even if it was not a spoiler!)

10. Her Personality

Even though Nayeon is seen as a very fun, energetic, comical person, she is actually a thoughtful and shy person. Despite the bright persona she shows a lot on stage and in front of fans, Nayeon has admitted in TWICE TV 3 that she is actually an introvert and loves spending time alone by herself. Because of this, Nayeon focuses a lot on her internal thoughts and surprised a lot of ONCE with how introspective she is.
