I think there's something a little bit funny about this community in particular, and while this is a wider tumblr phenomenon I find it amusing here, cuz you don't really tend to think too much about someone outside of their pokemon obsession and little guys, and then ya learn what they do outside a that and it can come completely outta left field

plasma driftveil did a lot of rebuilding work in opelucid after the attack, and also ended up helping rehome the pkmn that were reclaimed from neo plasma, since they already had the systems in place to do that easily and quickly.

lovenpeace Rood used to be a lawyer. he worked with a lot of battle injury-related claims, which understandably did not give him a great view of human/pokemon relations, so when Ghetsis said "quit your job join my emo band" he did. 

His Swoobat is named Snuffles.

2/16/24 Connie's first kiss was a guy she met at the market. Her second kiss was a butch lesbian she met at a party Debye dragged them to in 2015; they made out for 15 minutes and Connie ended up crying because she was overwhelmed by that much physical contact. And then she went home and had a sexuality crisis where she had to grapple with the internalized homophobia she picked up from Ghetsis. She still regrets that she never found out that girl's name.

6/16/24 The last date Connie went on was with a guy who talked a big talk about how he would have defeated Team Plasma with violence. She ended up having a panic attack and had to call Rood to send Snuffles to come pick her up; the experience freaked her out so badly that she hasn't been brave enough to try dating again--although she'll swear that she's not scared and she just doesn't think it's worth it.
