I hope you're doing well, buddy, and sorry for the LATE reply. Life is keeping me BUSYYYY. But at least I've managed to sketch a bit, resulting in a simple "Marcel-Derby-Nora" in-a-nutshell. That's it. That's the dynamic.

So, let's dive into interactions and opinions under the cut! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

▶️ Marcel

Nora thinks he is an idiot and a poser-prep. With Nora being the gossip-girl that she is, she knows that Marcel is left with hardly any money and therefore doesn't pay attention to Marcel most of the time. In her opinion he deserves to be kicked out of the clique but if he takes her payment, she still makes him run errands for her (#spoiled brat)

With them both equally crushing on Derby / having actual feelings for him, Marcel and Nora unfortunately hang out with each other way too often for their taste. That's what it takes to be around Derby... they have to tolerate the annoying "other one". As long as Derby is around, everything is fun and games, but once he is out of sight, the arguing begins.

I can only imagine that their obvious competition to win Derby's interest and praise (didn't want to say heart because his is made of stone) might cause severe rumors at campus revolving around the three of them, and each of them is utterly annoyed and stressed out about it (rumors stain their feelings of invincibility and reputations). Especially Nora worries a lot about her reputation and wants to keep it flawless to use it as a shield to protect herself and keep her status in the school's hierarchy as prep AND cheerleader.

But let's be honest, if both of them are drunk, they first verbally attack each other even more on sight but once the right music starts playing, they suddenly get along, and sing and dance (referring to your work with both of them breaking it down to the one and only Mr. Worldwide!).

It can happen, that if Marcel got to spend more time with Derby than her, she starts annoying and harassing Marcel in class, for example by throwing paperballs at him, making him trip over her legs intentionally, stealing his pens, etc.

In summary, to me, they have the dynamic of Sharpay and Ryan from High School Musical. ...they have the potential to maybe, eventually, after a long time, become ACTUAL friends. But not before Derby has broken Nora's heart resulting in her distancing herself from him.

▶️ Sofia

Compared to Marcel, Nora gets along with Sofia pretty well since their activity as cheerleaders brought them together. Like Sofia, Nora gets along with Mandy AND Pinky, so they share the same circle of friends. Let's be honest? They'd be such mean girls and THE gossip clique. Especially with Christy as well. These girls know the secrets of the student body.

Nora would cheer on Sofia if she was to throw hands with someone. They also both take advantage of the Jocks if they need their help.

Sofia and Nora also share their detest for the Nerds, especially after the incidents with Earnest. They both get the ick and Nora is just as hostile towards them as Sofia, only that Nora rather pretends they don't exist around her as long as none of them interacts with her. Nora defends Beatrice in front of Sofia, though (in case of conflict).

I don't think they'd be besties, I think they both are too spirited for getting along on that level of closeness, but they certainly hang out a lot.

Something tells me Sofia also likes Pitbull's music. If yes, that's a big plus to win Nora's sympathy.

hiii, saw your oc, marcel and i really like the guy! quick question, how is he about gangster films in general? in the introduction you said that he likes them, but is he the type of guy to completely miss the point in movies like scarface or is he the kind of person that analyzes the movies so much, they probably know them better than the producers themselves?

Marcel doesn't miss the meaning behind these movies, but he chooses to ignore that and glamorizes them anyway.

This is mainly because he sees his father being exactly the type of bastard these movies are portraying, minus the 'gentleman' and honor aspect. Gangster movies used to be one of his few comforts, so he refuses to ruin them for himself by accepting that the characters on screen are just as bad as his father.

Also Marcel has such a huge crush on Robert de Niro that he's the most dedicated apologizer for every role he's got 😭

When he cares about someone, vehemently ignoring and defending their wrongs is his specialty (*cough* Derby *cough*)

As always with a greaser, Marcel is immediately biased against Anthony. Not much of a surprise there.

They're both vulgar, and the clique rivalry will only make that worse. Marcel would fight him more than the average greaser.

Not to mention the verbal arguments which would get downright callous if either of them find out more about the other's personal issues and past through gossip and the rumor mill

Anthony hating Derby with a passion only makes this worse, with Marcel's guard dog mentality taking over every time Anthony's anywhere near them.

It's quite sad since they're two yappers divided by clique allegiance 😭🙏 Genuinely would be so funny to hear them ramble about the dumbest shit for hours

Either Harrington House, since he likes to live cushy when he can, or the cinema. He's always there for the premiere of a movie, no matter what it is.

At first, he was neutral with Jimmy, even respected him to a degree. After the gym showdown, things changed drastically. Marcel despises him for three big reasons:

1. Jimmy kicked his ass

2. Jimmy kicked Derby's ass

3. Jimmy kicked his prep friends' asses (except for Bif, he was cool with that lmao)

So yeah... He hates Jimmy's guts. But he's not dumb enough to provoke him either... Just glares at him from a safe distance.

As for Gary, he actually respects the scheming and plotting. And the kinship in being professional haters. Meanwhile Gary thinks he's a massive fucking tool cause of his obsession with Derby lmfao

Oh boy. Their dynamic is like Dumb and Dumber if they were both escaped asylum patients. Fighting over the crown prize of being public enemy nr 1... by duking it out in public spaces, getting arrested... And then continuing to bicker in their shared jail cell.

Both of them being the preps' errand boys is the way they meet for the first time. That's also when their beef starts and gets progressively worse... And funnier. Expect pettiness of the highest order

Marcel almost surely finds out about Dani's thing with Bif, and uses it as ammo constantly. It's only fair to attack each other over their boyfriends (who watch them in disappointment from a distance)

Marcel would deadass leave hate-mail and break-up letters in Dani's locker for weeks, signing all of them as 'Bif'. He'll even go through the trouble of trying to replicate Bif's handwriting to make it more convincing 💀 Professional hater

Like you said yourself, I think in some weird way they enjoy this rivalry. When you hate someone for surface-level reasons, at some point it just becomes entertaining more than anything

Number one trigger to get Marcel into a fight: insulting Derby. Works like a charm. So he returns the favor by shit-talking Bif to Dani's face (not that he needs the incentive, he hates Bif as it is)

They are Mad similar interest-wise now that you say it HAHA theyd be fun as hell together.. interactions belowwwlwlwl

Cici's impressions of the preps isn't too crazy by default. Just some spoiled rich kids who's privilege shines everytime they open their mouth. It's better to be on their side rather than not (he heavily considers the money they can lend out), so he's been decently amiable to them all when it's possible.

Marcel didn't pique his interest for a while. He now knows that he was missing out.

After making his own opinions from Gary's insignificant descriptions of him and by just observing him throughout campus, he came to the conclusion that he was just not the type of person who Cici would think to be fun to hang out with, but it's not like he had any qualms about him.

On a very random day, Cici happened to overhear and witness his behavior during an soon-to-be-fight. He had been ready to automatically tune it out, but Marcel surprises the fuck out of him with a Robert De Niro reference. Literally snapped his head to look back at what he just heard.

The thing about Cici is that he's VERY self-occupied. There's never gonna be a time where he Doesn't think about how to make his life more enjoyable even if it's not long-term. If he can find a person who's either: 1. intriguing and can provide him with a lot of stimulation due to their personality and way of thinking or 2. is into the EXACT same things as he is, he will try to initiate a friendship immediately.

Literally hunted him down around the halls and waited till he was alone to ask him about it. Marcel probably thought he was trying to jump him on behalf of the greasers

Doesn't really care if Marcel actually sees him as a friend or not, they're gonna interact frequently because Everything has to go Cici's way. And does

They've definitely fought about who's the better actor between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. Cici actually agrees with him about it being De Niro, but it is way too fun arguing with Marcel to step down now.

Despite his negative stance with the greasers, he's generally a lot nicer to girls. Meaning that at first he won't really pay Vickie any mind if she doesn't bother him.

It seems that they both smoke like chimneys, so I could see them always running into each other when they're buying a pack lol

That could start a habit of smoking together between classes. Marcel will definitely try to pry out secrets about the greasers, but I doubt Vickie would tell him anything

Marcel might guess that she's from a rich background, being the same himself.

There's a chance Derby or some other prep will take him to the restaurant belonging to Vickie's family. He'd be surprised if he saw her passing by, but will act like he doesn't recognize her so the other prep(s) with him won't start shit 💀

I feel like they could be friends, but the kind of friendship where they just roast and annoy each other at any given chance.

Marcel would also he super jealous of her near-perfect grades and call her a try-hard (the pot calling the kettle black much?) You're right about the competition between them lmao

Also Marcel isn't that informed about medications and pills, so he'd initially believe the made up stories unless they're too exaggerated. When she does go a bit too far, he'll take the time to do some research and yell at her for tricking him like 5 minutes straight 😭

Hello, the creator of one of my favorite bully ocs, how are you? I don't think I need any intro so let me just get right into it.

Inteactions and other stuff

Marcel

Marcel is a prep and a male prep at that so Crow doesn't even have to even know him to put him on his shit list. (Crow is more polite to women usually, even to a prep like Pinky)

He'd definitely notice that Marcel acts like a lovesick puppy and an absolute bootlicker around Derby and that would be his go-to insult for him.

He'd call him stuff like Derby's lap dog or a bootlicker or a doormat or the preps pet freak or a kiss ass, he's not running out of new material any time soon.

He'd still sell him stuff, he'd just be annoying and smug about it like making sure he says please and thank you and once he does say the magic word there's a high likely hood Crow is going to pretend to not have heard so he'd be forced to repeat himself.

Crow also knows that Marcel gets angry really quickly if you insult Derby and he's using that as entertainment. I mean he'd be insulting Derby anyway but with Marcel he's making it a game to see how far he can push before Marcel looks to be on the verge of punching him in the face.

But he can't of course, he wouldn't want Crow to raise his prices for him. Which Crow knows.

The first time Marcel would approach him for cigarettes Crow would be upfront and blatantly over charge him, he knows he's a prep and comes from a rich family and simply assumes he'd have the money. Upon realizing that he really doesn't have that much money on him Crow would quietly lower his prices.

It would be smart of Marcel to not bring it up. Crow doesn't like being so nice to rich kids so if he said anything about it Crow would be like "I can overcharge you again if that's what you want. Take it or leave it."

He wouldn't know much about Marcel's family drama other than maybe having heard rumors about how bad his dad is and how he may or may not be a criminal. Crow wouldn't take those rumors seriously, there's all sorts of rumors going around in bullworth, he'll believe it when he sees it.

And if Crow does ever meet the guy, like if Marcels dad shows up to bribe the faculty, he wouldn't even second guess those rumors he'd take one look at the guy and go "okay that man is terrifying no wonder Marcel's a bit fucked in the head" and steer clear.

He'd feel bad for Marcel's family situation and maybe be a bit nicer to him in the future. And by nicer I mean he's not going to insult him or close a door on his face or spit on the ground as he walks past. But don't you dare mention it to him.

Also Marcel trying to copy Crow's business would be the height of comedy to him.

Since Marcel found out about Crow's little crush on Bif through Nora he would absolutely hate Marcel having this information. He'd try to deny it in the moment but it'd be pretty obvious. Like I said earlier, Crow is a lot nicer to women and he does tolerate Jocks because they're such consisten customers for him, so he'd be pretty neutral on Sofia at first.

He would be like "hey you're Marcel's sister, right? Yeah your brother is a bitch."

Crow also hates Earnest and most of the nerds, his background there being that Earnest asked him to do a panty raid one too many times and Crow always refused and at some point he just said "you know what, I'm not going to do business with you anymore."

He'd probably know about the whole thing Sofia had with Earnest taking pictures of her. He wouldn't bring it up because he knows it's probably not a happy memory, but he would complain about Earnest with her if it ever came up.

He likes watching the football and cheerleading practice especially if he's just sitting around waiting for customers, but he's not watching for the sports. It's not uncommon to hear the jocks call him a f*ggot over it. But that's probably the most likely way Crow and Sofia would run into each other. I don't think the cheerleaders really mind him being there since he doesn't really ogle at them. At least someone is finally treating the jocks like eye candy the way the jocks treat the cheerleaders.

If Sofia ever bought something from him he would just go "so, do you also not have any money despite being from a filthy rich family?" And since the answer is yes he'd go "figures" and probably charge her the normal price. Which is less than what he charges Marcel even after lowering his prices for him.

Sofia would definitely invite Vickie to sleepovers in her room in the girls' dorm. Trying out self-care routines, show/movie marathons and gossip (at least Sofia lol, she'll ramble non-stop if Vickie doesn't interrupt her)

Marcel: - Vickie would find him annoying, but eventually gonna annoy him back. - listening to Marcel's gossip about Bif while drawing Derby for him it's kinda them. - Openly annoying Marcel until he squeal back and she just giggles. - She's gonna munching on vanilla ice cream and Marcel would just make fun while eating some ice cream named "weirdly" (according to Vickie), and them she'll just push him for the ice cream to fall, and giggling about that. - If they walk together she'll just smoking while Marcel talking about the other Preppies. - Marcel seems like the type to squint at Vickie's pill's labels and asking about the pills, Vickie would lie to make him terrified about the pills. He really believed that adderalls make people's eyes went up and redden. - Marcel would think she's popping actual drugs and he's gonna wonder when the pills would actually work on her like she threatened him about the results of them. - They would compete their academic results. Vickie's an academic weapon, and Marcel would take that as a motivation to study harder, for a smirk at her grade. Don't know if it's gonna actually happen, but meh, who cares.

They'll fight, and she'll just giggles. - I think Vickie would love making hairstyles on Sofia's hair. Sofia would ask her about hair products, Vickie's hair is as healthy as the vegetables in your grandparents' garden. Girlhood so Vickie will giving her exactly amount and products should she be using for the type of her hair. - Vickie giggles at Sofia while she's cheerleading and gonna be hit by Sofia after that. - Vickie's too high to be calling Sofia actually "Sofia". She'll just goes "Sofi", or just "Fi". - Will listen to Sofia's angry rants, she's too high to judge. She won't. - Vickie doesn't have any issue about Sofia's anger issue. - She's cool with it. - And I think that's the coolest thing about Vickie that Sofia found.
