If you wanna sing this you might wanna sing it like "HEARTBEAT OVERHEAT, OH". - Just to be consistent with "More Lucky". - More like "let's make our hearts beat". - I am so sorry. (Be thankful it's not my original plan: thumpy-thumpy) - The context here was weird to get, as 回転 means "rotation" and 速く means "faster". Since the talk of this song is about feelings, I went with the feeling of being dizzy and getting dizzier. - From what I could gather, とか was referring to 聞かれちゃったり (following, complying) with 予定 (schedule, plans). I think this line tries to imply that the horrible luck and nerves feel like they're planned. - The second chorus sounds like a boost of confidence, so think of this line referring to boosting her ambitions.

KamelCamellia and Confetto are hitting C94!

Summer is here - time for some exciting Comiket news!

Comic Market 94 hits on August 10 to August 12 this year, and the stars of this blog, Camellia feat. nanahira, are indeed releasing some exciting stuff this time! On the first day of the event (Friday, August 10), Camellia’s KamelCamellia booth as well as nanahira’s Confetto booth can be found in the West Hall of the Tokyo Big Sight convention center, at Block れ in spots 27a and 27b.

They’ve already teased some exciting stuff on their Twitter accounts!

Camellia’s reply to his own tweet hints at a possible new release from Camellia feat. nanahira! Whether this is a single, an EP, a mini album, or a full album is still unknown.

nanahira’s tweet reassures the comeback of princess idol duo Lovelicot (featuring Innocent Key’s koko)!

p19′s tweet confirms a new 4-way MOFUMOFU collab, featuring p19 themselves, Kionachi, Camellia, and nanahira! (Catch them on the third day of C94 at the practice booth in the East Hall, Block A in spot 03a.)

I’ve mentioned multiple times before that this tumblr is pretty much dead in favor of twitter.

I deleted all my OCD posts because of how fuckin bad they were. But scrolling through my posts kinda makes me sad that I didn’t get a twitter earlier because tbh I found a LOT of quality shit that I said before that only made me laugh now. (hint hint I’m gonna tweet them earlier)

I’ve pretty much converted this entire tumblr into just a dump for denpa information and occasional translations. But I didn’t delete the good posts I made, because you could see how bad I was back then.

Comiket 93... this one might just be a really huge one. 50 tracks are being released - the biggest since C88 with 37! (Unless I'm wrong, of course...) Still, this is a great way to kick off 2018 right, especially with the long-awaited fourth VS album finally coming out! And this p19 collab might just get you into a new level of fluffy and adorable! C93 Hype #3 - 4ORCE!

DENPA FORCE MAXIMUM!!!! You may have both seen this coming yet at the same time not expect it to happen at all. It’s finally time for another legendary album. Prepare yourselves for…

Camellia feat. nanahira - 4ORCE!

We’ve all been waiting for this for a long time. We all thought it ended after C92. Turns out we were proven wrong with a pleasanr surprise. This is the long-awaited, yet simultaneously completely unexpected fourth title in Camellia feat. nanahira’s lengendary VS series of albums. Presenting… 4ORCE!

C92 saddened me a little without any continuation to the VS series. (Don’t get me wrong though, Apprism and POWA OF DA WILDANES were still amazing) There didn’t really seem to be any signs of it continuing (unlike 3LEEP! which had hype secretly building up). But just recently, nanahira tweeted out an official announcement on the second title she’s releasing on C93 - 4ORCE! You can tell this is a VS album just from the name. (Another pun, kinda like what they did with 3LEEP!, but more obvious.) Look at it - it’s by Camellia and nanahira; it’s got an epic+cute album cover illustrated by maako; it’s got remixes from previous albums; it’s got long versions… I could go on, but we’ll get to that later.

This looks like the BIGGEST entry in the VS series - it contains a whopping 17 songs! To count: 10 NEW originals, 2 licensed songs, 3 long versions, and 2 remixes. You bet I’m gonna spend nights awake scavenging for those lyrics again. You can check out the crossfade preview of the song here, as well as the official website here. The album will be released on Day 1 of C93, December 29 in Camellia’s KamelCamellia circle (あ-74a) and nanahira’s Confetto circle (あ-74b). It’ll be sold at ¥1,000 during the event, but ¥1,296 afterwards.

C93 Hype #2 - Confetti-Box (and Confesta!)

HOLD ON HOLD ON. We got TWO big announcements from nanahira. That’s right, BIG announcements. Heck, I was only waiting for ANNOUNCEMENTS. Presenting nanahira’s BEST album...

You read that right. BEST album. The SEVENth album from the legendary denpa star nanahira is finally here.

The only teaser of this that we’ve ever gotten was nanahira’s current header in her Twitter account. This is something I didn’t really expect because let me tell you: this is a HUGE release. See for yourself.

If you didn’t quite catch what any of that meant, Confetti-Box is supposed to be the BEST of Confetto album. We’ve got releases of select old songs unmodified, while some songs come with new vocal recordings, some new re-titled remixes, and even a little long version of a certain song... There’s two discs with 15 songs each, totaling at a whopping 30 songs - the most in any nanahira album so far! (also comes in a nifty sleeve case)

There’s so many things to list down about this album. It’s full of oldies but goodies, and it’s perfect for nanahira’s upcoming 10th year in the denpa business! Speaking of which... to celebrate the release of this album as well as this 10th year of denpa, nanahira has also announced her own oneman event - Confesta! This is more than just some live event. You an check out the details of that in the official website - but for now, we’ll focus more on this album. By the way, it'll release on Day 1 of C93, December 29, in nanahira's Confetto circle which you can find at Block あ-75b, at the price of ¥2,000.

C93 Hype #1 - Infiniti🐰Mofulity

About a month ago, the C93 circles were revealed. Camellia's circle KamelCamellia and nanahira's circle Confetto were originally the only things that caught my eye. But then, a couple of tweets rose from both of them saying they were collaborating with the illustrator practice19 on a new project!

practice19, or p19 for short, is a doujin illustartor known for her comic series Mofu-Mofu After School, which is all about the story of Cynthia, a little white rabbit girl who moves into Fox-town, where she runs into a bright, energetic fox girl named Mei. Together with Mei's twin sister Aki and their best friend Millia, a cute and fluffy story about their school life shenanigans begins! p19 has been releasing these for quite some time, and recently, this collab was just announced.

At the time it was announced, it was actually unknown what this collaboration was going to be really about. While there a few who were expecting an original story, many fans of p19's works will be glad to hear about a very expansive release of Mofu-Mofu After School known as Infiniti🐰 Mofulity! Earlier today, p19 had uploaded the official music video for the self-titled theme song onto YouTube! That was completely unexpect and came out earlier than I thought! You can check it out here. The release itself consists of a standard comic issue of MMAS, a CD containing the and a short movie DVD. For more details, you can check out the official site here. This set is scheduled to release during Day 3 of C93, December 31 in p19's practice circle (Block あ - 31a) at ¥2000 (~$20) each. C93 is still pretty far away, so get ready if you plan on buying this lovely set!

- I moved the “ふわふわ” here instead and transated it to “floating” rather than “fluffy” as it sounds better for something like raindrops. Of course this could refer to condensing raindrops like a cloud, but the lines afterwards suggest a rainbow forming anyway. - This part here isn’t in the original lyrics. The previous line is already short enough to encompass the two original lines “今度は虹がほら / かかるから”; I feel like this added line adds more emphasis to this ‘rainbow’. - The original line was written in hiragana (“ばっくとぅーぱすと”). A user in a Discord I was in suggested “back to first”, but “back to past” sounded better (and the added “the” makes it flow better). - This line was pretty hard to understand at first, and I took way too much time trying to understand the wordplay with the line “まっきまき” near the end. A proper translation could be something like “The tape is rolling” or something. Considering how the song is about time, I decided to take “まっき” as 末期, meaning “terminal / final”, and view this ‘tape’ as a symbol of the timestream or something???? マッキマキ can also mean coquettish, hence I used “teasing”. - “Cinderella” is indeed heard in Japanese. As for “richest”, it’s a loose translation of “超余裕” (literally “huge surplus”) - “いっこくセンキン”… thanks Camellia for putting that all in kana. “一刻千金” basically means something along the lines of “time is gold”. It’s hard coming up with lyrics that actually fit… - I mean… ピンチ? I wouldn’t expect any English person to shout out “crisis!” or “danger!” when they’re in crisis or danger… oh well. (I was also considering “this is bad!”, but again, no flow…) - This line implies that she is indeed playing a video game. (Also applies to nearly any other adlib line after that.) - The Japanese lyrics do indeed say “[iterum]”. Meaning “again” in Latin. - Weird katakana in this line. Since the first lines in the chorus did imply save and load data, I thought “ゲー” would just be “game”. Also, don’t tell me “ぱ～ふぇく賞” is not a pun on “perfection”. - “はなまる”, or 花丸, means “flower circle”. But it’s also used as a ‘perfect grade’ thing in Japanese kindergartens, so I just slapped “A+” on there.
