hey guys! hope you’re all doing alright

i just wanted to let you all know that this blog is probably gonna be pretty inactive for at least the next little while, just because of recent things and my own waning investment in dsmp. idk if this’ll be permanent or not; i guess that’ll depend on whether anything happens to revitalize my interest, so we’ll see, but i suppose i wouldn’t count on it

unfortunately, the same thing goes for my current wips. i hope to potentially get back to them, but i’m feeling very little motivation to work on them at the moment. so if this ends up being it, i wanna thank you all for all the love and support for my writing that you’ve given me <3

in the meantime, i’m not going away, but i am shifting gears a bit. my sense of organization demands i make a new sideblog for each fandom i make content for, so if any of you are into critical role, i’ve got a new sideblog over at @heraldofavalir, and i’d love to see y’all over there!!

and either way, you guys are all great. love y’all <3

I have to say mx cat onecanonlife angelsdemonsducks i was one of those readers you jumpscared with a non-dsmp fic but i was doubly delighted to find that it’s a cr fic which!!! YOOOOO THATS STRAIGHT BANGIN i didnt know you were a critter 👀👀👀 have you watched the legend of vox machina by any chance its been the only piece of media thats been successfully (but not completely, unfortunately) dragging me away from the dsmp sphere 👀👀 judging by your track record of dsmp fics and blorbi you would absolutely adore these vox machina blorbuses i think 👀👀 anyway its wonderful to see that youve started posting again i hope youre having fun with writing!! :DDD

i made the active decision this morning to jumpscare all of my ao3 followers, approximately none of whom follow me for critical role, but it makes me very very happy to know that it was a welcome surprise for at least a few people :D

Hi I just had to say I am so gosh darn overjoyed to see you writing for cr!!! You're one of my favourite fic authors so seeing you venture into another fandom I love has me over the moon!!

And yes calamity is incredible and heartbreaking and I haven't been able to watch the fourth episode yet but I just know it's gonna make me Sob, all of the characters are amazing and so so intricate and interesting and hfvsjbfwjwfb I could ramble for a while so I'll cut it there lol, just know you made me very happy and the fic itself is brilliant <3

aw dudeeeee thank you so much!!! i always get really nervous when i start posting fic for a different fandom than i've been writing for, so that really means a lot <3

also yeah make sure you've got tissues handy. there was a period of roughly thirty minutes where i was literally ugly crying nonstop. this was at roughly 3:30, 4ish in the morning so i'm sure that didn't help but yeah sobbing was definitely a thing that was happening lmao

i really am so happy to have met these characters though, no matter how limited the time we got to have with them

i first got into it near the beginning of campaign two, but i got a few episodes in and then. molly. and i was heartbroken and stopped watching, and by the time i was ready to get back into it i was like nah that is too much to catch up on. so most of my campaign two knowledge comes from fandom. i've watched some campaign one as well but like. at a snail's pace lmao

but i've been watching campaign three since it started, and now exu calamity has me in a death grip. i personally blame sam and aabria, and also everybody and especially brennan but the divorcees have been living in my head rent free for the past few weeks so. gonna point the finger at them

i wrote this between 4:30 and 6am, got about three hours of sleep afterward, and am currently somewhere between feeling like a zombie and feeling shrimp emotions. worth it though
