You may be in the midst of a crucial decision, or you may be seeking God for some specific direction in your life. He wants you to know His will. He is interested in every detail of life. He promises to guide you and reveal His will to you as your Instructor and Counsellor. He is constantly watching over you for that very purpose. But He wants you to be open-hearted and responsive. “Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by the bit and bridle or they will not come to you.” (Psalm 32:9) The Holy Spirit lives within you to reveal God’s will to you and He enables you joyfully to fulfill it.

Have you ever felt you have done all that the Lord told you to do, you are confident He’s on your side and then suddenly you feel alone and maybe you are completely wrong. Did you really understand Him? You asked God for help, but it seems He has left you to fight for yourself. Paul writes in a moment of exasperation in 2 Corinthians 12:10 “That is why, for the sake of Christ, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” If your weakness is most evident after taking a stand for Him, know it is at these times – although you may not see or feel it yet – that the full power of Christ is carrying you through.

Isaiah 46:10 Maybe, today you are angry with God for not giving you something you’ve been praying for. “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 Take God at His word today. His word is true and He has promised that He will give us everything we would ever need for life. It may not be what we expect or dream of, but it will be better than that, it will be more than you can ask or think. Only God knows what’s best for you. May the truth of His word flood your heart as you continue to trust Him to take care of all you need, Amen.

Who told you that being in a relationship is the only way to break your heart?

Who told you that not seeing someone is the only reason why you miss them?

Who told you that smiling is the only sign that shows someone’s happiness?

Who told you that hearing outspoken words is the only thing that can tell you the truth?

Darling, I hope you’ll understand that we see things differently. That sometimes we acted based on what we feel. And it’s okay, because it wasn’t forbidden to feel something.

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. In these verses Jesus describes our function as God’s people. In one word it is influence. When we live according to God’s word, we will have a profound influence on the world we live in. Wherever there is light, darkness is dispelled. In your corner of the world, reach out to those who are hurting and sad, those who are hopeless and destitute. Ignite a ray of hope in them. Give them a reason to smile.

Sadly, many of us have a wrong idea of God’s opinion of us. We base it on what we’ve been taught, our bad experiences in life, and many other assumptions. We may think God is disappointed in us or that we’ll never measure up.

God says,” I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters. “ (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

No matter how old you are, it’s comforting to know that you are a child of God, His beloved. You belong to a loving, protective Father, Who watches over you and cares for you.

if you know Jesus Christ as Saviour,  you don’t have to carry the heavy load of guilt and shame, God sees you as forgiven. He does not hold your past sins against you. God sees you as righteous because the death of His Son cleansed you from all your sins
