hate how boruto's Iruka design is horrible and his eyes are like BIG, making him look like a bug eyed creep

HOWEVER i begrudgingly accept it. because! when Killer Bee tells Iruka that Naruto thinks the world of him, Iruka's eyes ACTUALLY get bigger, making it seem like his pupils are dilating.

so you can argue that by boruto era, Iruka is happy and comfortable constantly. and so i must forgive the design choices

the new nintama art is making me crazy

as they get older, kakashi and iruka unintentionally start marriage rumors bc they very casually say and do things that only old married couples say and do.

for example: while iruka scolds a group of pre-genin in his office for improperly using kunai during training, ye olde rokudaime hatake kakashi is just lounging in the background reading and going "mind your blood pressure, sensei" in a disapproving voice when iruka gets too riled up, like it's the millionth time he's said it in his life (and maybe it is and maybe iruka does calm down because he knows from experience that kakashi will nag him about his health if he doesn't).

and as the kids walk away one of them goes "they sound like my grandparents." and another says "they've gotta be married." and the rest agree. the rumor spreads until naruto barges in on one of their dinners together and asks why he wasn't told about or invited to the wedding.

("it was a very intimate ceremony," kakashi says, not looking up from his food. "we didn't invite anyone."

naruto's face crumbles as he looks forlornly at iruka, who sighs and pinches kakashi on the arm for joking like that. "you weren't invited because there was no ceremony! naruto, we're not married."

"you're living together out of wedlock?!" he asks, scandalized.

"he doesn't live with me! we're not even together!"

"then why is he always hanging around you, huh? and why are you having a candlelit dinner at 6pm? the sun is still out!" naruto counters.

iruka goes quiet. there really was no reason for the candles to be there. kakashi had lit them and iruka hadn't questioned it.

"well, he's got us there," kakashi admits. "maybe we are married.")

7. You can include non-Akatsuki canon characters (I.e: “X as an Akatsuki member”) but a canon Akatsuki member must be the focus.
