I saw a dream where I had a match box sized pet spider, and she loved me like a dog and wanted to be held and pet a lot, but I am afraid of spiders (I can't stand to touch them or be too close to them), but because it was my pet, I let it live in my house and I tried to be kind to it.

It would zoom around the house like a rocket and attempt to climb me and lay down on my cheek, and so I spent most of the dream running away from it. It would follow my scent and it would sniff me out and find me no matter where I went.

Ok, I got it working but the two factor thing keeps messing with me + this phone is huge and acts like a space ship.

I got the new phone, but I have no way to log in with my google account (at the initial first use thing), because all the two factor authenticator things link back to my old phone, which has a dead black screen. I guess I can set my google account on the phone later too, but I would rather get this thing working right up.

I can maybe use the samsung smart switch app with muscle memory, because the screen does turn on, it just doesn't show anything.

Ugh, my dumphone days are over, because whatsapp stopped working on my laptop a few days ago, so I need to go get that smartphone today. I am going to buy a 170 e smartphone, and it seems to be of better quality than my previous smartphone that I bought 5 days ago for 300 euros. Back then I didn't purpocefully buy an expensive phone, but it was kinda the only one worth getting from the online store I was using. But now I am living in the city and I can choose from so many stores and walk there in person to buy the phone, so it was super easy to find a good cheap phone.

A couple weeks ago I was practicing my owl calls on a night hike and I successfully called in a barred owl. My owl call is pretty good, but I've never called an owl to me from afar because I rarely do night hikes and so I don't get much chance to. I had expected to be really excited about this, especially since two of my coworkers are really skilled at owl calls and they don't usually get a response, much less a full conversation, but instead I felt so guilty. I eventually had to start ignoring this poor deceived owl that was following my call through the park. I felt like I catfished him.

thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.

to this day i can't get over how stupid it was to remove the headphone jack from phones. now if you want to use wired headphones you have to use the charging port. and then they made a stupid little external adapter you have to plug in that sticks out of your phone and advertise it as Hey now you can listen to music AND charge your phone at the same time! what an innovation! if only we could have done that before! the thing i want most from these increasingly sleek and efficient shapes and designs is to have a bunch of external bullshit sticking out of it to make it as clunky as possible! next they will remove the call function from your phone entirely and in order to make phone calls you will need to attach it by a twirly cable to an external keypad that plugs into the wall, and to enhance the speaker/microphone you'll be able to set your nice neat rectangle into a banana shaped device that sits nicely against your ear and mouth. and that's what we call innovation
