i was wrong but i was cooking tbh

judging by the apparent double-door rule in deltarune, im gonna try and predict where the next dark worlds of future chapters may happen.

the original dark world door is 168 pixels long, with the 2nd chapter's also being the same. despite this i wouldnt rule out bigger/smaller doors as possible future entries.

it should be noted that between chapter 1 and 2, the computer lab door was retconned to be a double door. as far as i'm aware, this has not happened to any other doors in the overworld, and i doubt toby would make the same mistake twice so we can reasonably rule out any single-doored entrances.

here are some possible candidates for other chapters:

the church doors. thinner and taller than usual, but seeing as how we haven't even seen inside the building yet, it's very possible. [note: usually this door is covered by terry. i removed him. he's not at the bathroom though. he doesn't have to go to the bathroom.]

the hospital doors. these ones teeter towards being the same size as the ones before but the weird pillars mess it up. because of the rudy subplot it's my personal theory that at some point, he'll be brought into the dark world and [hopefully] cured of whatever ails him. it would not be that hard to do. noelle this hospital is a 30 second walk from the school.

the doors to ice-e's p"E"zza, are, unfortunately, doubled. so there's a chance it could b"E" a d"E"ark world in a future chapte"E"r. if only tob"E"y could give us a sne"E"ak p"E"eak.

ill admit this ones a bit of a stretch But the entrance to the school itself also has double doors? Hmn?

these last two are ones i'm almost certain we'll see in the future

...asgore's upstairs room. these doors are 168 pixels wide, the EXACT same height as our previous entryways. we haven't seen what's behind this door but the stuff in the room it's connected to are... concerning to say the least.

and finally, the bunker. i have a strong feeling this will be the final chapter's dark world. will we actually get to See gaster? like, onscreen? in a way that isnt weird as hell to find??? maybe

also, obviously the next chapter's dark world will be inside toriel's house, despite it being a single doored location. but that's only because we're sent into it Inside the place itself, and when the fountain is sealed, we will emerge inside of it. this means that there are a lot more possible places that are fair game but we'll just have to see.

As much compelling evidence as there is for Gaster to be a driving force in deltarune, I just don’t think it makes sense.

Like, he was so hidden in undertale. You needed a specific value to be a specific number to MAYBE see his followers or something that MIGHT be him, or to hear his theme that is simply a 4 note tune over and over. His only spoken dialogue is in an inaccessible room, and it’s in an unreadable font. The average person won’t know who he is, so whatever “big reveal” he has would just fall flat.

Maybe I’m wrong but like.

I just don’t see it, man.

If the theory that Darkners remember a version their past as objects is true then it’s possible that Lancer or Rouxls saw or at least heard kris make the fountain, and maybe even them tearing their soul out. That kind of depends on how much of the world is exactly as it seems vs is left to interpretation.
