I think one of my favorite things about dark souls (and demon souls!) is that almost every npc you meet has a back story and of all the npcs you meet i think the fair lady is probably my favorite. she only has a handful of dialogue (that is only accessible if you have a specific ring.) but that’s all it takes for you to immediately pity and feel sorry for her and want to help her. You have to kill her sister quelaag to advance the game and reach her. Her body was corrupted by the chaos flame, her mother and most of her sisters lost their minds. and to make matters worse, shes blind and deathly ill and thinks your her sister quelaag. you know. the one you murdered. I really wish that they had done more with her.
