"its a lot, i know." he said softly, feeling almost just as emotional as rose "believe me, i know its so so much. but this is real and i'm really me." he reached forward and gently took her hands in his, holding them with such care - as if he held her any firmer she'd disappear. the doctor smiled, a small and soft smile that few people got to see "first time i said goodbye to you i burned up a sun to do it." @daydrcamerss
rose was... shocked into silence. admittedly not something that happened that often with her. "five... regenerations since i saw you? that..." she hadn't realise how much time had passed. it couldn't have been that long for her, could it? it didn't feel like that much time had passed. she cleared her throat. "can... can i ask you... to tell me something only you would know? to assure me that it's... really you?" she questioned but it was clear in the quivering in her voice that she was starting to believe him. @onespvrk

the doctor grinned brightly as he listened to clara. just being able to see her again brought so much joy to his hearts, beyond happy she was well and getting to live a life again. "its really me, cross my hearts." he mimed x's over both his hearts "what will help me prove it to you? ask me anything! whatever you need me to do to so you know i'm telling the truth, just say the word and I'll do it. anything at all for my impossible girl." @forcafcrtncght
"THAT'S.. EXTREMELY KIND. AND NOT THAT SEEN THESE DAYS?" clara commented, because.. there was something about the other that felt familiar and yet, she did not think that he could place it. did she? her memories, ever since ending up in here, were rather.. scarce and no, she didn't know what to do with it. "i.. you've lost me there," blinking, but then.. it was as if she nearly lost her balance. it couldn't be. it.. "you.. i.. i do not know what to say. it's truly you?" @onespvrk

the doctor had been digging through one of the libraries in his tardis when his sonic screwdriver started going off in his pocket. it had picked up a strange signal and he obviously couldn't not investigate it. so he grabbed a coat and off he went, following the signal to the ruins of a ship. "oh you poor thing..." he muttered and knelt down to pat the ship. he looked around a bit more before spotting a woman in the middle of the mess "oh, is this beauty yours?" he walked over, grin on his face "she's in a bit of a rough spot huh?" @daydrcamerss
@onespvrk
jenny let out a groan of frustration, tossing aside a screwdriver. "damn it. why is nothing on this planet working?" she huffed and stood back with her hands atop her hips, looking towards the ruined remains of her ships. she didn't like knowing she was trapped here. that there was no way out. "just work you damn thing. i know dad liked this planet, but i can't say i enjoy it very much." she huffed.

"it's really me!" he grinned, holding his arms out for a hug "really, truly me. one hundred percent. i'm the doctor. you couldn't tell from my handsome face?" the doctor teased. he understood the disbelief; it may have been far longer for him but martha hadn't seen him in a while... and here he was, basically a completely different person. his voice softened and his smile went from teasing to warm "its really me martha, i promise." @daydrcamerss
"guilty. and who might you be?" she questioned with a raise of her brow. she didn't think too much of it, believing that perhaps he was a patient she'd cared for here at the hospital or something. now that her life wasn't full of aliens; there wasn't as much reason to be overly cautious. just the right amount. martha raised her brows at his words. "it... you..." a small scoff like laugh left her as she looked at him with wide eyes. "it's... it's really you?" it had been so long since she'd seen the doctor. any version of the doctor. martha was aware of regeneration, of course, given her work and also witnessing the master's. "oh my god..." martha was at a loss for words but she stepped closer. "it's... it's you?" @onespvrk

he had a lot of regrets. living as long as he had, it'd be hard not to, but some things hit him harder than most. one of those was river song. melody pond. his wife. daughter of his best friends, stolen as a baby and trained to kill him. knowing all along that he'd have to send her off to her death in front of a version of him that didn't know her... it killed him inside. so despite knowing that this place had an uncanny way of bringing people back to him, the doctor (for a split second) thought he was seeing a ghost. "river?" his voice quiet "it may be a surprise but it's always lovely to see you. and you didn't even have to deface an ancient artefact to get my attention this time." @demongemz
The last thing she’d remembered was death, looking into the doctor's eyes and seeing no hint of recognition there but alas we persevered she’d always known it was coming to the sad life of River Song, such Spoilers darling. But she knew him, and whatever form he took, it was hard not to; her life was so deeply tangled in his. However, she wasn’t quite sure if this version knew, so it was always best to err on the side of caution. “Hello Sweetie, though I fear you are a sweetie I’ve yet to cross paths with” she mused leaning against the building as soon as he turned the corner. @onespvrk

he nodded "a few times actually... it's been a long long time since i last saw you." honestly, he'd lost track of how long it'd been since he'd seen rose... so many years and so many lifetimes that he wouldn't blame her for not believing him or wanting to be around him. "it's me. two hearts and all, i even have both hands! no need to regrow it!" the doctor chuckled at his own joke "this is my 5th regeneration since you last saw me. i was even a woman once!" @daydrcamerss
her brows furrowed in confusion as she looked to him. "you... you changed again?" rose questioned before shaking her head slowly. it was always hard to wrap her head around his ability to do so. "it's... it's you? really?" rose looked him over a few times before swallowing thickly. "can... please, don't take offence but... can you... prove it's you?" just so she wasn't getting her hopes up for someone who was trying to impersonate him. "how many times have you changed? since...?" since they last reunited. @onespvrk

closed starter for tony stark @thefinalgxrl
daniel grumbled slightly as he fiddled with his phone. he may be better with technology than he used to be but sometimes he still had trouble with it... like now. his stupid phone wasn't working right and he was trying to fix it but the stupid thing was being stupid and kept doing the same thing over and over. he let out a groan and looked up to see what he thought was a familiar "howard! thank god! you're supposed to make a flying car so surely you can fix this stupid thing." he thrust his phone at who he thought was howard stark. "please tell me you can fix it."

the doctor bowed deeply "always happy to help my friends... well anyone really, that's kind of what i do." he chuckled, shoulders rising in a small shrug. the doctor was positively giddy to see clara alive and well; maybe being stuck here wouldn't be so bad after all. he'd seen so many old friends since he woke up here that it almost outweighed that he was stuck in time the long way round. "what do you- oh! OH! i'm still so thick!" he slapped the side of his head "it's me, the doctor! i changed everything... again."
"OH, BLOODY HELL! you're a lifesaver, thank you so much! i don't know what i would have done if those had flown off! my whole life would have come to an end and.. oh, thank you." clara could be dramatic. if anything, she always had been and.. right now, she found herself freezing for a moment, because.. how did the other know her name? what the- "beg your pardon ; you know my name.. how?" @onespvrk

gale wasn't sure what to expect from a so-called occult shop in this world, but his hopes weren't very high. the lack of magic here was shocking to him but he was glad to still feel his connection to the weave - he'd honestly be lost without that - so gale was preparing himself to be disappointed. "oh, i'm a more than just a believer." he grinned before muttering fiat lux to summon a pair of dancing lights to fly around him for a few moments before dispelling them. "so is this shop mostly parlor tricks or do you have real magical items here?" @demongemz
Tiffany loved her little shop. After all, it had been a dream of hers to find a place of work where she could find like-minded people to share her love of the occult with others who found it interesting or took part in it. She smiled softly when she heard the bell ring, alerting her to a new customer. “Hello there, Sweetface, and welcome to The Good Guys! Are you a believer of the dark arts or just looking for something amazing to kick-start your day?” @onespvrk

the doctor could practically feel his hearts beating out of his chest, both nervous and happy to see her again "its me! the doctor!" he beamed "i changed my face... well... my everything since you last saw me." he chuckled nervously, remembering how she took it when he regenerated before "you can't imagine how happy i am to see you again." @daydrcamerss
rose still didn't understand how she had ended up here. one minute she was in a parallel universe with her family and the next... here. was this the world she had always hoped she'd return to? did that mean... maybe, just maybe... she might find the doctor again? rose turned at the sound of her name, nodding her head slowly. "uh... yep. yep, i'm rose. why uh... why'd you say it like that?" she questioned, raising a brow a little. "why'd you ask if it was... really me? do i know you?" @onespvrk

hearing the familiar voice the doctor looked up and froze. there she was - the impossible girl yet again defying all the odds. no longer trapped in that single moment anymore, here she was. alive and vibrant and speaking to him! oh, she's speaking to me! the doctor straightened up and looked where clara was pointing and rushed to quickly grab the pages next to him. "i think i got them all clara, why don't you check and make sure none flew away." @forcafcrtncght
CLARA WAS VERY, VERY LATE. in fact, she was supposed to be running an exhibit and she had woken up already ten minutes late and now, she was running through the crowded streets of london, knowing that there was no way that she was going to get to the museum on time. she was trying to, of course, but also.. she had no fucking clue of how to make that happen. still, her guard was particularly down when a rush of wind came by and then.. bloody hell! "hey! hey, please catch those pages! they're very important, it's.. they're right over there next to you!" @onespvrk

he did love london, so honestly there were worse places to be trapped with a grounded tardis, but there were some things that weren't quite right to the london that he knew. first off there was no unit, which might be a good things since it would seem that this earth hadn't been invaded by aliens... something to have the tardis monitor he thought to himself. the doctor should have known better than to be so in his head while walking around the busy streets of london, so he wasn't surprised to run into someone, but he was surprised at who he ran into "martha? martha jones is that you?" he reached forward towards her before pulling his hand back "i uh, i've changed my face a few times since we last saw each other... it's me, the doctor." @daydrcamerss
@onespvrk
times like these... martha missed the doctor. missed UNIT. either of them might have had answers to what the hell was going on here. to how she ended up here. to answer questions that so many people seemed to have. martha had just finished a shift at the hospital, admittedly not paying enough attention to her surroundings. she could blame that on exhaustion, couldn't she? martha let out a small grunt as she collided with someone, grimacing. "oh god, i'm so sorry. are you alright?" she questioned, concern in her tone.
