i genuinely feel guilty right now for being okay with the not guilty verdict because there’s so many people disagreeing with it

like, “believe all victims” stops applying at a certain point, like when there’s that many backtracked statements and inconclusive evidence in a testimony and i feel like people are completely ignoring that.

i’m not saying it didn’t happen. i’m just saying that the verdict makes sense given the testimony and evidence. i’m not saying i agree with the verdict. i’m just saying it makes sense.

and it kind of hurts, considering how difficult it actually fucking is to get a court case for sexual assault.

but whatever. it’s over now and we can’t change it.
