free maja here actually refers to the non-binary anti fascist activist Maja T., a german citizen who has been held in hungarian prison for almost two years now. they are currently on a hunger strike to protest the conditions and treatment they're experiencing in prison.

there is very little talk about this case outside german language media and anti fascist circles, but it's a really important case for antifas across europe and the world, so it's worth looking into!

I was teaching kids today and they got fixated on the usual ‘are they dead now?’ question when I was talking about historical figures. So I was just like ‘Yes, they’re dead now, everyone who was alive in the 1800s is dead now.’ and then one kid was like ‘Except for you’.

im really glad theres so many adults on tumblr who also cant drive because in real life you got 17 year olds driving since they were out of diapers making you feel bad for never stepping foot behind a wheel before while online theres lovely 40 year olds with kids telling you cars are evil so it's fine if you dont ever wanna get your license. thank you 40year old you make me happy
