I don’t know if this is true, but I think it is pretty cool.

During a fight, the female wolf stays close under the male, calm and unafraid. She trusts him completely and knows his strength will protect them both. Male wolves have a rule... they never hurt females, so she is safe by his side. But she isn’t just hiding... she is helping.
The neck is the weakest spot of the wolf, the place an enemy would aim for. She knows this, and she wraps herself around his neck, shielding him with her body. By doing so, she protects him from the enemy and shows that even in the middle of battle, loyalty and love run deeper than fear.
WE’VE A LOT TO LEARN FROM WOLVES!
