Telltales The Walking Dead Season 2
Date: 9/3/23
Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! Hope you are all doing well. Today I will be talking about Telltales The Walking Dead Season 2.
In this season, or part two of the game series The Walking Dead, you play as the little girl named Clementine. She is from the first game, it has been around two years now since the first time we met her. She is now 11, and she is just trying to survive on her own. Finding different groups, but instead of being taken care of she is the main one doing jobs for the people around her. Clementine in the beginning starts off with a companion named Christa, but they are quickly taken over by a group of survivors and Clementine is thrown into a river. This is where her journey starts, she wakes up on a bank and is attacked by a starving dog. After being bitten she tries to navigate through the woods, only to pass out and be saved by two random men. This group will be the one she sticks with throughout the rest of the game. She quickly finds herself hated in this small group as they all think she has been bitten by a walker. So they lock her up in a shed and she is forced to break out and steal medical supplies from them. After stitching herself up she is forced to kill a zombie that made its way in. The group finally realizes that she is just fine and they all finally let her in the house to stay with them. They are forced to move houses and stumble upon a ski lodge where she encounters another man she met from season one, Kenny. The two are reunited in a heartfelt scene and all is well. Until a man that the first group had been hiding from finds them, Carver. Clementine is forced to go through many daunting tasks to try and escape Carver's grasp with her group. I'm gonna cut to a part later on in the story where they have escaped and one of the members, Rebecca, is having her baby. Unfortunately with the improper medical treatment Rebecca dies and leaves her baby behind with the group to look after.
I'm gonna leave it at that, as I really want more people to go give this game more attention, so please go play it and see what all I left out. I have the same opinions on this game as I did the first one. Very 3-D point and click haha.

Telltales The Walking Dead (Review)
Date: 9/2/23
Hey everyone welcome back! Hope you are all doing well. Today I will be talking about the Telltales The Walking Dead first game, this game was a major comfort of mine growing up. I still hold it to very high standards.
In this game you play as a character named Lee Everett, a convicted murderer who is on his way to prison. Quickly though the cop car crashed, Lee breaks his way out of the vehicle to find help, only to see undead around him. He rushes to a house for help from the walking dead, only to find it abandoned and blood everywhere. He meets a little girl named Clementine, she basically ends up becoming his daughter. He makes it his mission to help her try and find her parents, they travel for weeks, meeting many people along the way. Most of these people stick together, wanting to find comfort in other survivors as they travel to find safety. They end up in a town called Savannah, the last place Clementine's parents were seen/heard. Through a heartbreaking event though, Lee is bitten and Clementine is captured by a random man. So with a race against time, Lee sets off to find his little girl and save her. He does eventually find her, only for their story to end in the most tragic way possible.
I love this game to my core, this one is a little shorter, but there is just so much story I would have to go over. You would be reading this all day. I highly recommend playing this, it is a bit older so the graphics are not absolutely everything, but that does not matter. It has an amazing story, characters you get attached to very easily, and overall just nice game play. It is kind of like a 3-D point and click though. :)

Red Dead Redemption 2 (Review)
Date: 9/1/23
Hey everyone! Welcome back, hope you are all doing well. Today we are going to be taking a break from the Resident Evil series. I decided that I wanted to talk about my absolute favorite game. Red Dead Redemption 2.
In RDR2, the story mode is a complete and utter masterpiece. There are tons of activities and people you can meet all around the open world map. You can study animals, hunt the animals, and even sell them for profit. You play in the beginning as a man named Arthur Morgan, who runs with the outlaw group Van Der Linde. When you play as Arthur you have a choice, to either try and be a good man, or stay true to the outlaw ways and continue doing bad things. Either way, you still have an incredibly detailed and heartbreaking story to go through. In chapter 2, you are tasked with collecting debts from people to help your gang. This is where Arthur's redemption arc starts, he beats a man with tuberculosis to death. Causing an unforeseen amount of sadness once you realize that Arthur caught the deadly disease. You go through the game, watching as the man you come to adore is slowly breaking down from his sickness. You make many friends, and many enemies along the way. I always have a soft spot for high honor Arthur, his ending, while sad, still continues to show what a wonderful man under all of that toughness is.
So that being said, this has to be my favorite story game of all time. This game has made me cry too many times to count, and I will never ever get tired of replaying it constantly.

Resident Evil 4 (OG) Review
Date: 8/31/23
Hey everyone, welcome back :). Hope you have all been well. Today I wanted to go over Resident Evil 4, but unlike the others I was able to get a hold of the original!!
In this, we get thrown back to a character favorite, Leon S. Kennedy. Leon has been assigned to a new mission by the President. He is tasked with going to an island to find and return the President's daughter, Ashley Graham, home safely. We arrive on the island by car, quickly finding out about the hostile residents named Los Ganados, the main enemies of the game. They are a religious cult who seek to dominate the world under the guidance of Lord Saddler. Leon is quickly thrown into multiple hordes of combat and required to run or quickly slay the residents on limited supplies. After doing multiple puzzles you quickly find the President's daughter located in a church. After saving her you are quickly introduced to the main villain, but you do not engage in combat during this encounter. You instead run away and try to find a way out of the horrid island. You end up coming into contact with a man named Luis Sera, in the original you do not see much plot or interaction, but that changes in the remake. You also along the way run into Ada Wong, another character who we discussed in a previous game, she is a spy trying to gather a cure to sell to a top buyer. After defeating multiple bosses, and curing both Leon and Ashley through the use of radio-waves, Leon is quickly thrown into battle with the main villain, Lord Saddler. After defeating him Ada once again betrays Leon and detonates a timed bomb, that Leon must quickly take Ashley and escape by jet-ski.
In all honestly, I loved this game, although for how old it is the controls can be hard to get used to considering it was originally made for the GameCube. There are not many cut scenes that lead to any important information, and you do not see much development in any of the characters. Still, it was an extremely fun and challenging game to go through, I think it ended up taking me 15 hours to beat.

Resident Evil 3 (Remake) Review
Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well, welcome back to another blog! :) Today I will be going over the story and my opinion on the Resident Evil 3 Remake.
To start off, you start as a character named Jill Valentine, she is a S.T.A.R.S. agent who at the beginning is investigating the recent odd outbreaks occurring around the U.S. In the midst of waking up from a nightmare she realizes that the horrible outbreak has actually started to infect her city. Fun little fact: Resident Evil 2 and 3 take place around the same time! Anyway, after running away from the horrifying creatures around her, Jill ends up being saved by a man named Carlos Oliviera. After being saved Jill has the task to make the subway station operate smoothly once more to try and save as many survivors as possible. After getting the subway system she ends up rejoining the small surviving group and setting off to a new destination. Along the way though, the subway is attacked and she must find a way to take down terrifying creature seemingly tracking her. After a long and winded journey with many puzzles and new people to interact with, she ends up in the lab of Umbrella. She takes down the boss. and finds a cure for the city.
This game was pretty intriguing, although through a majority of it, I felt like I was just constantly going back and forth for no reason at all. It was very beautiful though, the graphics and the character designs were amazing.

Resident Evil 2 (Remake) Review Pt 2
Claire's Story
Hey everyone, welcome back! :) Hope everyone has been doing well. Today I wanted to go over the other half of the Resident Evil two characters, Claire Redfield.
Claire is an interesting character as when the game starts all you know about her is that she has come to Raccoon City to find her brother, Chris Redfield. Claire and Leon's story honestly are pretty hand in hand at the beginning. With Claire also having to go through the police station, but instead of looking for how this apocalypse started, she is looking for clues on her brothers whereabouts. Eventually though, she stumbles upon a little girl named Sherry Birkin. It is unknown as to why Sherry is there at the beginning, but Claire takes Sherry under her wing and tries to guide her out of the station. When they are about to get out though, Sherry is taken away by a man named Chief Irons. This is when the game cuts to you playing as Sherry trying to escape the orphanage. Honestly, this part was pretty frustrating in my opinion. Trying to play a horror game as a child who cannot exactly fight back or do much was something I was not interested in. Nonetheless, you eventually solve the small puzzles and escape. You go back to playing as Claire gets to the orphanage trying to deliver what Chief Irons asked for to get Sherry back. You find that he has been infected and Sherry is nowhere to be seen. The game continues and you eventually find Sherry, but she has also had an embryo of the virus planted into her eye. This brings you on a journey to try and find the cure for it, while also finding out why Sherry was there in the first place.
In all honesty, while I love Resident Evil 2, Claire's part in the story felt really pointless to the game. As she had a clear objective to find her brother but does not end up accomplishing this. It is fun though to get more information on the facility of Umbrella, as mentioned in my first post.
Here are some links to a video of Claire's story and some information to codes or just her part in the story :)

Resident Evil 2 (Remake) Review
Date: 8/28/23
Leon's Chapter-
Hey everyone, welcome to a newer type blog! Hope everyone is doing well. In Resident Evil 2, there are two story mode chapters. Today, I will be going over Leon S. Kennedy's.
Leon is a charismatic and endearing character at the start of the game in the opening scene, you will find out that he is a rookie cop. This rookie cop is coming in to town for his first day on the job in Raccoon City, it is stated multiple times throughout his chapter in the story that he is late for his first day. Although unknowingly, this is the exact reason that he survives the impending apocalyptic scene in the game. You end up at the police station trying to get to the bottom of the multitude of undead around you. This game has many intriguing puzzles and small mini games that you must complete in order to get items to move through the story line. Whether it is finding small codes on whiteboards or developing a film roll to get a clue, you end up spending a few hours going through the police station and finding small hints at the tragic events that happened in the city. Eventually you meet up with an FBI agent by the name of Ada Wong. She is an extremely mysterious and evasive character that you know nothing about, but still have to help. She takes you to the underground corporation called 'Umbrella'. You will navigate this facility and survive. Eventually fighting multiple bosses, and grabbing the cure for the city. With an unimaginable twist at the end.
This game was extremely fun to go through, and challenging at times if you did not know where to look for certain items. This game is definitely in my top 5. The characters are amusing and the story is quite alluring. It is one I highly recommend for everyone to try and experience. This was a game that I hold dearly to me and it is constantly something that I play during my off times.
Here are some links to the trailer for the game and some guides and lore explanations:
