Summerstobotnikweek: Day 1

Hello everyone! I'm so happy about this summer edition of Stobotnik week, since I couldn't partake in the previous one :3

The song that inspired my fanart is "if u think ur pretty" by Artemas, linked below. I am loving their songs so far and they give me lots of ideas for Stobotnik S1-era, specifically pre-S1.

I imagine this song being from Stone's POV, about a month or so after meeting Robotnik: he's aware the Doctor is purposefully being mean to him in order to make him run away, but Stone is determined to stay.

Stone is also aware of having already caught strong feelings towards him, fascinated by glimpses of the Doctor's softer sides - well-hidden behind the genius, the mannerisms and the cold façade.

At this point, Stone can't stop thinking about being with him, and Ivo too is struggling with his newfound desire to be close to and to touch another human being, which makes him feel confused and angry at himself for wanting such "trivial" things. Manhandling Stone and pushing him around seems the "safest" option for Ivo to fulfill his desire for physical contact without coming to terms with the emotion behind it.

I love the idea of Stone falling super hard and almost immediately for this stunning silver fox of a mad scientist (I won't lie Jim Carrey's got +100 charisma in these movies, I don't understand--)

I am not drawing as often as I'd like, but I have a few sketches I'd like to finish and hopefully I'll be able to do a few more days of Stob week 🥚❤️🪨

GUYS I FORMED A THOUGHT!!!

So Sonic 4 is supposed to include a bit of a teenage romance between Amy and Sonic, right? If Stone is a villain, or some kind of antagonist, and he comes face to face with sonic, he should crash out a bit at seeing that Sonic has gained a romantic interest.

I’m thinking Stone gets to give one of those “love is nothing but pain and heartache.” Speeches, and have sonic try to rebuff it, but stone isn’t hearing him. If he cant be happy with the one he loves, then this stupid blue rat certainly does not deserve to.

Maybe he kidnaps Amy as part of this??? Idk i just see him absolutely freaking out if the hedgehogs get to be fluffy and loving with each other
