a film is what, 2hrs median? 1cours anime is ~4hrs and if you need more than 2x of those to tell your story i'm not watching that shit. if you read at 300wpm then moby dick should take you ~10hrs. which is normal, i think that's near the upper limit of what's a normal amount of time to spend on a thing. videogames on the other hand. Elden Ring (2022), just the main stuff, not 100%ing or whatever, it's 60hours. that's 1.5 straight weeks at a full time job, that's fucked up that's inconceivable, what the hell are the gamers thinking??
