I hate that as Indigenous people, we have to slowly explain the concept of LandBack to basically every colonizer.

nothing has been more important to my being queer than when i went to my first pride parade, got seperated from my group, had a panic attack about it and was sitting on the side of the road holding a tiny genderfluid flag and freaking out. then this six foot five drag queen in four inch heels appeared from literally nowhere and sat down next to me. i, this scared-shitless trans bi kid at pride for the first time, very nervously told her she looked pretty and i told her my name and that i got lost and didn't feel like i should be at pride and she held my hand and said "oh, honey, everybody deserves to be here, especially you. pride is for everybody who's ever gotten lost, who's been scared of who they are or where they are. you think we never been scared before? pride's for you, honey, because you're scared. you don't have to be proud right now, but you're gonna be one day, honey, i'm sure of it."

i found my group soon after that and i never saw that queen again but to this day i am convinced i met an angel.

so yeah. pride is for you. pride is for all of us.

my step mom was asking me more questions about the nonbinary thing and after talking to me for a bit, she said "oh, so youre a rosé! not a chardonnay transitioning to a merlot, just your own unique type" which was such a middle aged white woman way to frame it, but i cannot lie gang. it did make me want to cry

To all writers out there: if you say you're gonna make the reader gn, make it gn. Don't just write down "gn!reader" and describe the reader as feminine, use she/her and not label it as fem reader. It hurts people who are just looking for a good and relatable fic/story where they won't be missgendered. I'm really sick of the overwhelming amount of times I found a fic saying it's gn and the reader goes by they/them but then get slapped in the face with this bs. If you can't write gn readers then just type fem or whatever the reader goes by in your writing. If the reader is gn but more feminine/masculine then please say so! So the people who aren't into what you're writing can just avoid it and avoid feeling uncomfortable/hurt/dysphoric
