Pom Pom Crab Appreciation Post

The Pom Pom Crab, or Lybia Crab (also known as boxer crab) reside in the indo-pacific ocean, and always carry sea anemone around.

From Padi.com: "The crabs are known for their signature move of always carrying a small living sea anemone around in each of its claws, which helps them catch food and protect themselves from predators (thought to resemble pom-poms or boxing gloves)."

I visited the Museum of Osteology on the weekend after my 21st birthday. So far i’ve doodled only 6 out of the One Million Billion photos i took, but i hope to do more

In general I think every distinctive enough category of animal should always have its own original one-word common name. Sure “anglerfish” is descriptive but we all know what an anglerfish is by now so maybe the entire group should just be called I don’t know maybe gruntches.
