After I done my editing of my video, I then meet up with one of my tutor here in university of Salford, to bring my project to the next step, is by creating an exhibition .. here are the rough ideas that we had come up with... I will proceed with making a 2d mock up floor plant and will see what I can do from there :)

After easter holidays, i had started turning my images into parrallax by using both photoshop and after effects. First i use photoshop to crop out my subject from the background and then import my cropped photo into after effects for further editing. In after effects i put the photo of the subject and background into a 3d plain and arrange it accordingly. By using the camera inside after effects, i am able to set my key frame for its movement and my moving the camera and resizing the photos, i then was able to create the parallax effect. All the parallax video is then compile together with after effects and by adding some glitch transition I was able to make it more interesting.

More than 10GB!
During the Easter holidays, me and my mates had travel to places such as York, Whitby and London. And in the journey I had bring along my camera equipment and had decided to get more footage while travelling. We were out for 1 and a half week and I had recorded in total more than 10GB of footage. The footage consist of time lapse, hyperlapse, photos and videos of people and scenery.

These are some of the photo that i get during my time on the field.. I seems to overcome the problem with myself with the people. I had came up a way to do some sort of exchange to my subject that I will use their photo for my project and in exchange i will send them one digital copy to their email. And so far this method seems to be working almost all the time. Easter will be coming and there will be alot of time for me to go and take more photos. Other than that I had also decided to add in Timelapse/ Hyperlapse to increase the fluidity of my project.

Travel To Birmingham
17-19 of March 2017, I had got myself a ticket to go to Birmingham for a Comic Convention, So I also brought along my Camera and try my luck to get some photography done. The place is really crowded, and I didnt took much photo in the place because there is too much cosplay going on, and i dont think that’s the kind of photography i needed for my NMP

City Trip with Sonam
Sonam is one of Ronnie’s friend, she had agree to come along with me for the photography around the city. She accompany me and show me around the northern quarter, Albert square and we also covered places around Arndale Shopping Center. Not the Mention we also visited to a Jewish Museum just 10 minutes walk away from the city. But unfortunately i was not able to do alot of photography as the timing wasnt right and it was a rainny day so i had to call the day off early.

Difficulties and Solutions
During the recce and a few tryouts i find out some difficulties that i need to address and find a solution to overcome. 1st is the equipment that i have for photography. I had brought along my sony a7 camera with a 35mm and 50mm lens inorder for me to be more discreet i needed a telephoto lens. I had talk to my tutor about it and fortunately, I am able to lend a Canon 5d mk3 and a 70-200 f2.8 lens with 17-40mm lens just in case i am going to take those wide angle shoots. 2nd problem is that during the research that i am doing in the location i had some bad experience where locals are a little bit racist and paranoid by me as an asian taking photo of them, dont get me wrong the people here are nice and friend is just the few that had these of of problems. I had address this issue to my tutors Mark Scargill and Danny and they had appointed Ronnie, one of the student currently doing her Level 6 in University of Salford to help me, because i was in one of here NMP projects too. With the help from Ronnie and her friendly friends, I get to know more about Manchester and they had give me a road map as to where i am able to get myself a high opportunity to get the result that i want. As locals they are also kind enough to offer help to the extend where they will go out and show me around the city.
