Fake Dating Prompts

They were actually quite the good kisser, but they of course would never ever tell them that.

This fake dating thing all of a sudden turned into an engagement that felt very, very real.

It’s a Shakespearean love story, but Romeo and Juliet only date to annoy their parents.

Knowing that this is all an act and really knowing it are two different things.

The fake dating period wasn’t supposed to be that long that they had to shop for anniversary gifts.

On Valentine’s Day everything seems to have a discount for couples, so why not pretend to be one to save some money and have fun?

They had resigned themself to the fact that they would not marry for love, but if someone was arranging a loveless marriage they had to live with for the rest of their life, it would be her and not her parents.

Sharing a bedroom was bad enough, but sharing a bathroom while they are not actually dating, is the worst.

They should have known that fake dating never goes according to plan.

It was a stupid idea and they really hadn’t thought this whole thing through.

This fake relationship will not end in a love story, but in a wonderful friendship.

The deeper they get, the harder it will be to eventually break up.

He doesn’t know how long people normally fake-date someone, but it probably wasn’t years.

There are the long and well planned out fake relationships and then there are the spontaneous ones.

The reaction they get when they finally come clean and tell everyone that this was all a charade, is not what they expected.

They already live together and basically go everywhere together, so how hard can it be to pretend that they are also a couple?

When it was all over, they still felt the weight of the fake wedding ring on their finger, like a phantom pain for what they never really had.

The fact that they really enjoyed the making out and the hand holding was just a nice extra.

They just wanted free champagne and maybe a dessert when they fake proposed in a filled restaurant. Just some harmless fun. What they didn’t realize was that not everyone in this restaurant was a stranger. And that some people would want answers.

It started when they just wanted to get out of work events by saying they had something planned with their partner. But when all their colleagues want to finally meet that mysterious partner, they need to find one quick.
