Answering the door, Chiyori rubbed her eye with a loosely fisted hand. “Opal-cha-“ She murmured, her voice slurred from sleep. However, was promptly interrupted by the sudden buzzing noise of the portable machine placed outside her door.

As cotton ball-like shapes began pouring out, landing in her hair and sticking to her clothes, Chiyori’s hand dropped back to its natural rest at her side. She blinked slowly in surprise, drinking in the sight — she'd just woken from a nap, and the sleep was still sitting deep in her bones. Was that… snow? Had Opal-chan brought her snow? As soon as she realized, her face lit up.

Pleasant smile stretching across her lips, Chiyori carefully extended both hands out in front of her, palms facing up to catch the drifting flakes. “That’s snow, Opal-chan!” She beamed softly, golden hues watching as white dots melted upon contact with her skin.

After spending a moment enjoying the artificial snow, her gaze slid up, attention shifting back to her friend. “Opal-chan,” Chiyori called. She leaped past the door step to the other, arms looping around the pinkette's shoulders before pulling her in for a hug. Her voice brimmed with cheer: “Thank you!”

I managed to force the film into the winder so can get some vacation photos in film and digital. Planning to go out today dual wielding cameras like the rotten tourist I am.

(mostly because I don't trust my own light calculations and in the absence of a light meter I'll use the one in my mirrorless one)
