When traditional agriculture methods were changed to industrial, it marked the green revolution. American agronomist Norman Ernest Borlaugis called as father of the green revolution. He contributed to the remarkable increase in the agricultural production.
The power of technology has been a boon for the agriculture in India. India has seen powerful growth on the yields when green revolution started. The industrial systems reduced the manual efforts and do more work in less time, thus leading to better yields.
