A FEW WORDS BEFORE — !?!?!? * ugly cries * OKAY BUT HOW IN THE ANGEL IN HELL DO I HAVE OVER 400 FOLLOWERS NOW? I’d like an explanation. send it care of the ghost, please return by post, P.T.O — no seriously thank you all so much. I’ve only had my blog for around 6 months and I didn’t expect for a significant follower count I just wanted to get into the Phantom fandom because, well, I’m obsessed with it and it’s my favorite story of all time. I’m really surprised that enough people appreciate my portrayal and taken an interest because I know it’s not the ordinary interpretation? I’m very focused on the more humanizing aspects of Erik rather than his more atrocious ones and yet I have people that like my version and I’m amazed you have no idea. While Erik has always been one of my favorite characters, I really have grown in learning about his psychology and how I’ve seen him and when you have a problematic muse it’s always complex to pull that off, and I still get doubtful and reevaluate things but overall I’ve only grown to love writing him and his character more as its developed — and appreciated his depth and meaning in ways I never considered before.

Plus, I’m A MEME. I POST WAY TOO MUCH CRACK. YOU ALL MADE A MISTAKE.

Anyways I owe a ton of people who have shaped my view, discussed the story with me and all of us like different things and it’s just really gratifying??? Phantom really is a beautiful story and it’s a long running musical, a high quality movie, a novel  and a haunting narrative for a reason. The roleplay community is small but it’s growing and I’m living. There is such dedication within the truly passionate writers for their characters and it’s just a great group of human beings. Despite our differences we all love it in our own ways and I’m just extremely glad to be writing in it at all — and I know it’s something I’ll be sticking with. bUT ENOUGH BEING SENTIMENTAL it’s time to GET SAPPY instead and thank some of the people that make the experience so amazing and that I adore writing with and deserve hella praise *OVERTURE INTENSIFIES*

well, perhaps the third time was the charm — at least it was, in her case. he’d been persistent about teaching her to sing & she gracefully turned down the offer each time. while he wished to say ‘ i’m certain that’s not true; i could teach you to sing ’, he kept his mouth shut on the matter ( there was no point in arguing ). ❛ a waltz, ❜ erik’s mind thought to music he’d written before, music unheard & music that he wished to share with the world — had he written waltzes before? of course he had. it was not a question of what he’d written, but what he hadn’t. 

i could put steps to it — oh, how the thought made his heart flutter; he’d never been able to work with anyone in such a way. he could teach, but never had he been able to share his creativity with another. now, myrtle offered him that chance. ❛ i could write you a thousand waltzes, even more— ❜
