Kidnapped by Starscream and used as a bargaining chip by Megatron to get the attention of the Autobots sucks but what REALLY butters your biscuits is seeing Megatron smack Starscream around like his personal Bozo the Clown punching bag. Okay sure, you're not in a good spot right now and you could be obliterated at any time but enough is enough.

When you're alone with Starscream, you look over at him from your tiny prison. He has fresh dents in his plating and he's holding his side. You gently speak up, telling him that he shouldn't have to go through that every day and that he has feelings, too. He threatens you to shut up. Of course he does. Hurt people hurt people.

You continue. You ask him why he puts up with such abuse? You say to him that he doesn't deserve it. You tell him that he's valuable. He's growling at you now and he makes his way over to your cage. You're scared but you really hate to see him beaten up over the tiniest things more. You ask what you can do to help!

He shakes your cage and screams for you to shut your mouth before you face his wrath. You feel your eyes water because you empathize with his pain. You caught yourself placing your little hand on his servo and he rears back in disgust.

"Don't touch me, fleshling!!"

You begin sobbing and you don't know when THAT started happening. You can barely see through your tears. You tell him that you're here if he needs you. He growls and leaves you to your lonesome.

But, before he reports to Megatron, he leans on the door and frowns, your words sinking into him. How is it you're the one in mortal danger and you're thinking about him instead of being free with your annoying friends? Why do you CARE so much? It has to be a trap. Yes, that's right. It's all a trap to get his defense down. It's all psychology!

So, why did his spark feel like it was tightening?
