#school i went to had this school wide party called kiss your crush#wherein you wore red/yellow/green for I’m Just Here to Party/I’m Maybe Interested in Kissing (Ask)/And Hell Yeah Give Kiss (still ask)#anyways. i didn’t do any orientation week stuff cause i was a nervous wreck#and i was already spending late hours at the art building because. anxiety. and having studio space#so i’m walking to my dorm and i just see this writhing mass of my college schoolmates (all years) kissing#and i go to like. the one person i kinda know; who isn’t actively sucking face of someone else#and i’m like. so… what even is this#and they explain to me. and i think for a little bit and go ‘hm! interesting’#anyways. i go to my dorm and get changed and decide on green#cause like. it’s a party; it’s dark; the entire point is smooching as many people as you want#(aside: yes people got mono; one of the reasons this tradition ended in my 3rd year)#(second aside: i did not ever get mono by some godly stroke of luck; booyah)#and i’m thinking this is the PERFECT time to learn how to kiss. big sample size#and that’s how my first kiss was first kisses. with a bunch of colleages and not-yet friends#wouldn’t change it for the world lol#((also i was told i was a good kisser by multiple people lol i need to tap back into that energy))
