In the city of Dreadgate, there is a curfew after sunset. Like most curfews, it was instated to keep the residents of the city safe. Unlike most curfews, this one is heeded with the utmost caution and severity. There is no need for it to be enforced by the city government, since the consequences are often dire and immediate. Anyone who roams the streets at night puts themselves at risk of being BITTEN.

The Dreadguard tries to keep watch and protect the citizens as much as possible, but VAMPIRES have a way of slipping past unnoticed. They stalk their prey in the night with unholy stealth and speed. Their hunger is primal, but the vampires are not animals. They are cunning and ambitious. Despite all the efforts of the city officials and the Dreadguards, the power of the vampires is growing. They HUNT for the sake of blood, but it appears they have a much more tactical methodology when it comes to siring new spawns. The mayor’s son was just turned and it’s sparked a new question: How do you fight a monster who wears the face of your friend?

DREADFULHQ is a 21+ low-fantasy rp set in a victorian-era town under threat by vampire attackers. it will focus on the vampire power hierarchy and the town's reaction to the monsters hunting them. exploring themes of humanity, what we do to keep ourselves safe, and what we would sacrifice for power. lore is inspired by baldur's gate 3, vampire academy, carmilla, and dracula.

Hello lovely! I'm so glad that you like my guide! I put a lot of work into it back in the day! To answer the easy question: I don't know of anyone else who does this! I only follow like two people in the rpc so I have no idea what's going on ever especially when it comes to rph stuff.

As for helping you using my own skills, I have no idea why you'd want that since I don't consider myself a good graphics designer or coder. But I do have A LOT of experience setting up rp mains and I help my friends do it sometimes. If you send me an IM with more info on exactly what you had in mind, I'll definitely try to help you out as much as I can!

supernatural victorian sounds cool, you should give it a go and while you say that you've met everyone, i wouldn't say that it's any different in another genre.

i just want to write a sad little ghost lady or a terrible, horny vampire!! tis the season!! that may be totally true tho, i have no idea. i pretty much stick to skeleton rps and period rps and it feels like it's just the same muns over and over and the rp dies out in like a week or two. maybe the whole tumblr rpc is just the same like ten people at this point lmao.

Welllll, I have been considering revamping my supernatural victorian rp because I consistently have Carmilla brainrot and I just watched League of Extraordinary Gentleman and I've really been craving something which takes a strong inspiration from penny dreadfuls. But then again I'm also wondering if I should try to revamp the victorian ghost mystery rp that my friend and I made in 2018. Cause that one had a really cool premise. Idk I just feel like I might want to break from my usual genre and meet new people? I feel like I've already met everyone in the tumblr period skeleton rp community lol
