"Oh hey, sorry, I'll be out of your hair soon -- I have a flat," Max told the other, one hand raising to block the pouring rain that had soaked into his clothes. If it had been years ago, Max would've been close to shifting. Frustration was always an easy spark for his wolf. Even now he was pausing every few minutes in annoyance to take deep breaths. This was just hard to do alone.

"hey little guy," she chuffed out. a soft coo tut-tut-tutted out of her lips as she tried to get the tabby to come closer. it didnt look abandoned; well taken care of and collared. but it was late and protective kindhearted wendy couldn't help but notice the little cat prowling the emptied street. "i won't hurt you, promise." she hummed. but it was as if the cat knew she was not what she seemed. just a dog in disguise. and cats dont like dogs.

Hmm, maybe that's why he was so relaxed around Theo? Was it his wolfside? Another look at the other... nah. Jiwoo liked Theo because he seemed nice.

"Yeah, dude, you can't just listen to movies. Its like Twilight - do you really think vamps glitter and glow?" Jiwoo challenged. "I'm sure there is a nice alpha out there. You know wolf packs in nature actually have no alpha - just a mom and a dad. So like... a too nice alpha is just a good dad." Jiwoo snorted thinking about Max, his alpha, being a dad. Maybe he ought to call him daddy like how he called Wendy 'mom' when she worried. "I got alpha vibes, right?" He puffed his chest out. "You got them with the animal thing - you can probably stop a stampede with your skills."

"Not anything like that. Animals just sort of... like me." Theo tried to explain. He held his hand out over the top of the fence, allowing the once-angry dog to give him a sniff. They liked the way he smelled, supposedly, a mix of honey and lemongrass. Well, it's what his friends said.

He laughed awkwardly. "An alpha that's too nice? I've never seen that in a movie. Is that a thing?"

Bonnie nodded silently with a bright beaming smile. "I do. I'm an art major - more traditional and sculptural based so painting with oil paints and sculptures using clay or scrap pieces of... trash I guess. Its recyclable art with meaning to me but my family always says its just trash." she laughed a bit. Her eyes flickered down to the shuffled papers in his hands. "Those are really cool - you'd probably make some money if you painted them on a canvas. Are they just doodles or is there meaning behind them?"

"Oh. Thanks," Theo said. He tried not to over react to that, people thought he was drawing in class, and it really didn't affect much. He just picked up his papers, awkwardly shuffling them in his hands. "Do you draw?"

Luanne hadnt been to a club - at least not like this one; she was used to small-town thrills. This was so Hollywood; all bright lights and loud music and sweat & salt and dancing. Lu had liked the live music more than the EDM pulsing throughout the room hypnotically, but she still was excited.

"Your voice is beautiful," Luanne called over the loudness of the club with a bright smile. One of her heavily-band-aided hands going to cup her mouth as if it'll help make her louder over the chatter. "Its like nothing I've ever heard before!"
