get up and go write.
write for the people who will one day pore over the words you've chosen.
write for the people who think you could never have gotten so far.
write so you can bring words to life.
write so one day you can look back and see how far you've come.
write to inspire people who are too afraid, or who cannot, put words to paper.
write, because if you don't create this, who will?
and if anything, get up and go write for yourself. there's still so far to go. take a break, breathe, but go back. there's still so many things to share.

plot twist (seungcheol)
Tumblr media
pairing: seungcheol x fem!reader genre: fluff, romance, slight angst, friendstolovers!au, university!au warning: profanity wc: 3224
Is love really complicated or we’re the only ones who are making it seem as it is? An exasperated sigh escaped your lungs as you  looked up at the sky. There you were again at the rooftop of your dormitory building, trying to figure things out. Gaslighting yourself that you could do it in one sitting. But who were you kidding, though? Nevertheless, you needed the time—a breather, perhaps?
“I knew you’d be here.”
Your head immediately turned towards Seungcheol. There’s no way you wouldn’t recognize that deep voice. Even with your eyes closed, you already knew it was him.
“Cheol?” his name slipped from your tongue the moment your eyes met with his gaze. He looked a bit worried from what his eyes could tell. “How did you know I was here?”
“Am I disturbing you?”
You chuckled, shaking your head.
“No. Not really.”
Exams were finally over and instead of going out to party just like everyone else did from your block, you went out to seek for peace. Seungcheol placed both of his hands inside of his pockets and looked up, letting out a sigh.
“The stars look beautiful tonight, don’t they?”
Your forehead creased at how random it came, but you wouldn’t disagree, though. You diverted your gaze towards the shining stars from above and nodded your head.
“They do…”
“Are you okay?”
Seungcheol noticed how faint your voice were when you replied. You turned your head towards where he stood and caught him already looking at you, his eyes meeting yours. There was a certain tension that his look held enough for you to avoid his gaze.
“I-I am…” you cleared your throat as you looked away. You forced a small chuckle that came out a bit awkward as you tried to ease the building chaos within you.
“Just tired, I guess?”
You heard him heave a sigh.
“I know, it must have been awkward for you…”
Your eyes automatically shut close at the thought of what happened as it flashes back to your mind.
“I shouldn’t have said that, right?” he asked, looking at you.
Mustering all your courage that you have in you, you stood up from your seat and took a step closer to where he stood—face to face. You looked into Seungcheol’s round eyes and without thinking twice, held his hand. He was taken aback by what you did that he slightly flinched at your touch.
There’s that undeniable spark. Just holding his hand was enough to send thousands of volts running through your spine.
“Stop blaming yourself, Cheol.”
“What?”
The look he was giving grew more intense the moment he asked that. You could only let out a small sigh.
“It took me a long time to realize and finally admit it. I was afraid this might happen and now the horror’s kicking in…” Seungcheol sounded so frustrated but he still managed let out a nervous laugh as he looked away in frustration.
You knew to yourself it was all your fault. It’s not like you don’t share the same feelings as him—you do. For goodness’ sake, you’re all about him. But there’s just one problem that you couldn’t get rid of. It’s not his fault nor anyone’s but yours. God knows how much it frustrates the heck out of you that you find it hard to risk everything again.
No, it’s not that hard to fall in love again. As a matter of fact, it’s as easy as counting from one to three. But what’s hard is stepping into a big decision as committing. Because it would mean putting yourself, your trust and your all at risk. You already did once and it left you into a complete mess. So messed up that even after it happened, you still can’t see yourself fully recovering from it.
“Cheol, there’s nothing wrong with you…” you said, trying to make him look back at you. “I’m the problem here. It’s all on me.”
“Is this because of what happened before?”
Your shoulders fell upon hearing that question. Even the thought of it makes your stomach churn. How the anxiety quickly rises as your chest starts to feel the familiar twinge of pain you have always tried to ease. See, you were young and naïve and everything about love felt foreign to you. All you ever knew was how much you loved that person that you didn’t realize you were seeing him through rose-colored glasses.
For what seemed like the nth time, you heard Seungcheol let out another sigh causing you to  look at him. If it wasn’t for all the shit you’ve been through leaving you so fucked up in the mind, none of these would have ever happened. Maybe giving him a chance would be as easy as knowing the words to your favorite song. Seeing him like this because of you made you hate yourself so much. He didn’t deserve any of these but it’s just the way it is. You still don’t feel deserving of what he’s offering.
“You’ve known me for years, Y/N-ah. I know what you’ve been through. Do you still think I’d let you go through all of these all over again?”
It was the same question that lingered into your mind. Seungcheol left after he convinced himself that the conversation was going nowhere. He left after telling you to just meet him at the Christmas fair. You let yourself get lost with your own thoughts and stayed for another hour or two—just sitting there and  letting your mind take control. So engrossed with whatever’s running round your head that you didn’t have any idea how the hell you found yourself standing in front of your dorm’s doorstep.
“Where have you been?”
It was the first thing you heard the moment you stepped into your dorm and was welcomed by Minjeong’s worried face.
“It’s already 2 in the morning. Who knows what could’ve happened to you?”
“Minjeong-ah, you sound just like my mom.”
You gave her a small smile, removing your coat. Minjeong has been your roommate since freshman year in college. Minjeong had both her hands placed on her tiny waist as she looked at you with questioning eyes.
“Yah, you didn’t answer my question!”
“Just somewhere.” you smirked, leaving her wondering.
“Seungcheol messaged me.”
It was enough to get your attention. You looked at Minjeong as you raised a brow at her.
“W-What did he say?”
Minjeong shrugged and flashed her phone right in front of you. Your eyes automatically ran through the whole conversation.
“He was just asking if you’re already here. Guess someone knew where you were all along.”
You could only let a small oh after that and slowly nodded your head. So even after you did him wrong, he still decided to check up on you. Seungcheol had always been like that towards you—always looking after you. He knew how far your parents were from you and you only have Minjeong, Seungcheol and his family in the city.
“We met earlier…”
“Hmm…” Minjeong uttered, guessing. “Why do I feel like something’s wrong between the two of you?”
There’s literally nothing you can hide from Minjeong. She just knows everything by just merely observing and there you were, the ever so transparent Han Y/N. Even if you don’t say a thing, Minjeong will always know.
“I know what’s up, you don’t even have to tell me.”
You let out a groan as you rolled your eyes.
“Fine, I like him too! It’s just that—“
“You’re scared.” Minjeong interrupted, finishing your sentence.
Exactly.
“I won’t blame you if you still are, Y/N. But this is Seungcheol we’re talking about. You’ve known him for years and know you longer than I do. You trust him more than you trust me. The two of you basically grew up together. What are you even afraid of?”
Two years ago, you fell in love with someone so deep that pulling yourself up felt too impossible. You thought he was the one just like how you wanted yourself to believe in. Turns out, everything was just a lie. You see, the thing about falling and being in love isn’t just about the rainbows and butterflies just like the old fairy tales told. It’s something beyond past that and there you were who all ever wanted was to love someone and be loved at the same extent.
“I just don’t want to have the same nightmare again. It’s all too much, Minjeong.”
A tear rolled down your cheek. Remembering all of it makes your heart ache. It’s the feeling you’ve been trying to bury at the back of your mind for months. Minjeong engulfed you into her arms and rubbed your back for comfort. A smile crossed your face as you hugged her back.
“It’s scary, I know. There are way too many reasons to be. But what if it works this time? After all, it’s Cheol…”
God, if only Minjeong knew it has always been your greatest what if. If only it had been Cheol at the very first time. Why does he have to come at such a wrong time? Not when you don’t feel so deserving of his love. You admit that you still weren’t at your best and still trying to redeem yourself from all the bad decisions you’ve made. It would seem unfair to him if you let him just like that and the extreme anxiety of ending up just hurting him just because you couldn’t solve your own issues.
However, thinking about it. Seungcheol has been there with you since day 1. Through your ups and downs, he always got you. He would always look after you—walk with you after class back in high school and even now in college whenever your schedules match, study with you during exams, listen to all your rants and even your gossip. Seungcheol never left your side no matter what phases you go through in life. There’s no doubt you grew liking him more than just a friend.
He understood you when nobody did, even yourself. He stayed with you during your darkest days, celebrated all your triumphs and never failed to make you understand that even the smallest achievements in life are something to be proud of. Choi Seungcheol is literally a walking green flag and though the idea of being with him sounds so irresistible, you just can’t.
Out of nowhere, your phone buzzed.
Cheol sent you a message.
Tumblr media
You stared at his message for a good minute before your fingers started tapping for a reply.
Tumblr media
A tch slipped from your lips, finding yourself smiling. You knew for a fact that Seungcheol has been looking forward to the Christmas Fair that the university’s going to hold tomorrow and you promised to be his date. After all, how can you say no to Choi Seungcheol?
Even after you rejected him, you find it somehow amazing how he’s not letting it affect whatever the both of you have. Like it didn’t hurt him at some point at all. But you knew how good he was at hiding his emotions sometimes. He’s always been so rational when it comes to things and even if things should be awkward right now, he managed to do shove it all away.
Tumblr media
And just like that, your phone rang.
“What?” he asked nonchalantly, causing you to frown.
“I just want to apologize…”
“For?”
“If lately I’ve been nothing but awkward towards you, I guess?”
You heard him sigh from the other line. There it was again—the disappointment that transpires with his sighs.
“I told you, it’s fine. Stop thinking about it already, Y/N.”
It was your turn to sigh, dropping your shoulders. God knows how bad you wanted to tell him how your really feel but the timing and situation seemed a bit inappropriate. It’s not something you just do over the phone.
“You’ll be there tomorrow, right?”
Seungcheol let out a small chuckle, can’t believe you for asking such nonsense questions.
“I’m your date, remember?”
“Right…” you replied as you tried to suppress the awkwardness your bringing in with a nervous laugh. “But you’d be busy, though?”
As far as you’re aware, Seungcheol is part of the organization committee that organizes the event. Perks of being a member of the council of the whole student body. No doubt he’s been busy lately. He’s been juggling his final exams while taking part in the said event.
“I don’t think so? I’m done with my part so I’m all yours tomorrow.”
Every year, the university holds its annual Christmas fair. It’s like a uni-wide fair where students can enjoy after examinations and before the holiday break. It’s also like a year-end celebration for everyone every holiday season.
“Aish, there are a lot of people…” you muttered under your breath as you squished yourself into the pool of people swarming around the area.
Food carts were everywhere, flocked by students trying to grab themselves some good stuff. And across the field was the stage where the bands are performing. All of a sudden, a pair of strong arms snaked around your waist, pulling you away from the crowd.
“Gotcha!”
“Yah!”
You lightly hit Seungcheol on the chest. You were pretty much startled by what he did, but good thing he got you out from the sea of people.
“You scared me, Choi Seungcheol.”
“Sorry about that.”
He flashed a boyish smile, scratching the back of his head while looking so apologetic. He looked cute, you won’t even deny it. And he looked really dashing even if he’s just in his casual clothes.
“How did you find me?”
In that huge amount of people you’re trying to get through, it would be really hard to find someone in the midst of the crowd. Not to mention, you’re not that tall of a person but then Choi Seungcheol begs to differ.
“You weren’t really hard to find, Y/N. I’d always find you, you know that.”
There’s really no point of denying the fact that it actually made your heart skip a beat. You caught him smiling at you like an idiot, still can’t believe how natural those words came out from his mouth. Guys are such talkers, aren’t they?
“Bet you haven’t eaten yet…” Seungcheol guessed, grabbing your hand before pulling you away with him again.
He lead you to their office (student affairs) after getting something to dig in from the food stalls outside. Their office was oddly empty when the both of you got there that led you to a presumption that the other officers must have been busy with the event.
“I was expecting this room to be a little… busy. Where’s everybody?”
“Out and about with their boy and girlfriends, I suppose?” Seungcheol replied, shrugging.
The two of you happily munched on your food. How can you not? It’s chicken wings!
“I’ve been hearing rumors that The Rose’s going to perform tonight, is that true?” you asked him out of the blue.
Truth is, you knew about that already. It’s just that the silence that surrounds both of you was killing you. You can’t afford a dead air between the two of you. Especially not with Seungcheol. It felt totally unfair to be that awkward when he’s around as you tried to kill your own thoughts just so you wouldn’t spoil the moment.
“Seems like everybody knows and you still don’t?” Seungcheol chuckled, messing up your hair a bit. He loves doing that as if he sees you as a puppy.
“Oh.”
“At exactly 9PM, I should think?” he replied as he glanced at his iWatch that read 8:14.
And when the clock ticked at 9, you found yourself in the middle of the school field with Seungcheol waiting for the set of The Rose. After a few minutes of waiting, Beauty and the Beast began to play.
All throughout the performance, everyone was drowning in the beautiful melody filling the air. Seungcheol stood behind you, hearing him humming while singing from time to time along when all of a sudden, you felt his arms gently wrapping around your body.
“C-Can I?” he asked before he could even fully close the gap between the two of you. Nodding your head, butterflies began to swarm across your stomach. There’s something with this touch that you liked, gives off a certain feeling that you knew to yourself you’ll crave once it leaves you. Oh, you might get used to it but who cares? Seungcheol was already hugging you from behind, holding you like he’s afraid you’re going anywhere.
But who were you kidding? You weren’t. It felt so good, you would fall into melancholy once he lets go. Right there and then you swore you don’t ever want that moment to end.
“Beautiful life, you and I. It’s a beautiful life, you and I…” he softly sang to your ears as he rested his cheek on the side of your head, gently leaning onto it.
Blood rose to your cheeks instantly as your lips slowly formed into a smile. You tilted your head, tried to look up at him and your gazes met right away.
“I’m tired of saying sorry to you all the time, Cheol.”
His thick brows furrowed, forehead creasing in confusion.
“What do you mean?”
Fuck your fears. There’s no way you’re going to let this moment pass, let this man go even. He saw you at your best and stayed with you at your worst. God knows how much patience this man has stored, waiting for you all these years and finally telling you that he loves you. Even if you are a mess, he still finds you beautiful. It’s rare to find someone who’s willing to fight your demons with you and here he is. And if he’s ready to jump with you no matter what the odds are, then you’re in for it.
After all, you’d rather risk it all than to regret it for the rest of your life—not knowing what could’ve been if you choose to let him go just because you thought you don’t deserve his love at any extent.
“The truth is… I-I love you too.”
It wasn’t that hard to notice how his ears turned instantly red upon hearing you say that. Disbelief filled his mesmerizing eyes as he stared at you, obviously still processing what he just heard.
“Y/N…”
There really is something with the way he says your name. It sounded beautiful when it came from his lips. And just like that, the next song played.
I love you, our love is true
(Hug me) Time is passing by
I love you, our love is true
(Hug me) Don’t let me go
“I love you.”
You repeated, smiling at him. Turning around to face him, you tiptoed and wrapped your arms around his waist to hug him back. You looked at his eyes before placing a soft chaste kiss on his cheek and resting your head on his chest.
“God, I’m sorry for making it so complicated but really I love you—“
He caught your lips—not letting you finish, and kissed you in the middle of the crowd while The Rose was playing I.L.Y and that’s the exact moment the first snow began to fall.

GAM3BO1 (wonwoo)
Tumblr media
pairing : gamer!wonwoo x fem!reader genre : romance, (slight) fluff, pining!au, gamer!au word count : 3415
You can’t exactly remember the exact moment you realized that you were already catching feelings for user onewoo#1015.
Uhuh, you read that right.
onewoo#1015 — his username on the FPS game you’re currently obsessed with playing these days. So obsessed that you can no longer stop yourself from playing that game that there came a time where you got teamed up with this particular guy having a god-tier level of skills when it comes to playing.
The next thing you knew, the both of you were playing a couple of rounds for hours until the two of you became a duo playing that game.
helianthus#6199 : hey, i was wondering if you have discord?
onewoo#1015 : yep, i have.
onewoo#1015 : what’s yours? wait, let me add you.
helianthus#6199 : orenjies#9169
That’s where it all started—from talking about  game obsessions and other random stuff about yourselves into deep conversations. Weeks turned into months and the both of you became a solid duo in playing that game, acing every round together.
“You really are good with this, huh?” you told him with a hint of amazement in your voice.
His skills when it comes to gaming were pretty much remarkable and of course, commendable. With the level of his skills, he could actually be a professional gamer at that point.
“I’ve been dedicating my whole life into this…” he replied over the call, letting out a small chuckle.
The both of you were on Discord, mainly using it for comms whenever the both of you are on game. But lately, there has been some deep talks going on between the two of you as you’ve grown fond of each other after playing for quite some time now.
“Yah, really?”
“Aish, stop being so serious all the time.” He laughed.
You swore his laugh sounded so heavenly that you thought your heart almost dropped when you heard it. Even his deep voice matches the way he laughs. onewoo#1015 cleared his throat before speaking once again.
“But on a more serious note, I’ve been really trying to get into the pro scene…”
“With skills like yours, I highly doubt that wouldn’t be impossible.”
He let out another sexy chuckle. Yup, real sexy one. The both of you were playing one round, open mic. You honestly find it more fun to play that game with someone while going through some little chats about yourselves.
“You’re pretty good yourself too, I should say.”
Blood started rushing upwards to your cheeks, making it blush. You admit that you were no good at this game when you started playing it. However, after playing with him countless times already, you could say that you learned a lot from him somehow—game wise.
“Stop flattering me, onewoo! I might just get better than you.”
The both of you came into an agreement that there wouldn’t be any disclosure of real names between the two of you. Ever since you met him, you’ve only known and addressed him using his game user ID. Him being onewoo#1015 and you as helianthus#6199, or helianthus as he would simply call you.
“Helianthus-ssi.”
“Hmm?” You hummed as you tried to aim for the target to get the kill to which you swiftly succeeded. “Ha!”
“We’ve been playing for months now, right?” He asked out of the blue, making your brows furrow in confusion.
“Yup, what about it?”
“Uh…” he uttered, obviously struggling to find the right words to say to you. “Shit, how do I say this uh…”
It made you chuckle a bit, hearing him say that. He sounded so frustrated by the sound of his voice and the way he said it, growing your curiosity bit by bit.
“Say what?”
“It’s just that…”
A smile slowly crept into your face. What is he so shy about? Wondering, you start to realize that this was actually the first time he’s been like this towards you.
“Hey, it’s alright. You can tell me.”
A deep sigh was heard on the other line.
“Perhaps, do you want to meet?” He finally asked, letting out a huge amount of air that has been trapped in his lungs.
And that kids, is how user onewoo#1015 attempted to make the first move to you. You can’t stop yourself from blushing the moment he asked you. How can you not? You’re totally crushing on him, for goodness sake. You wouldn’t spend a lot of time playing with him if you didn’t have the hots for him.
“Ahhh, jinjja!”
Your hands were cold, that’s for sure. Not to mention, shaking at the same time. It’s summer and yet you’re feeling like the first snowdrop will fall anytime soon. You took a deep breath before pulling the door of the café open, slipping inside.
Clutching your phone close to your chest, your eyes began to wander across the whole room to find a seemingly familiar face that you meticulously examined on the avatar of his game profile.
“Helianthus-ssi?”
Twirling around, your head automatically turned towards the familiar voice coming from behind. Your eyes widened a bit as you caught sight of him.
There he was standing before you. User onewoo#1015 is one hell of a hottie. It was as if your eyes glimmered the moment you saw him in front of you.
“Y-You’re onewoo?”
He nodded his head as a boyish smile crossed his charming face, causing his eyes to narrow slightly. You almost swore to the heavens, your heart started to race wildly by just seeing him smile.
“Shall we sit?” He asked, scratching the back of his neck as he led you towards a vacant table near the corner. The two of you had always found it comfortable to sit right where you could watch people from the window as they pass by.
“I really do think your name has woo in it…” you spoke, breaking the silence between the two of you. One thing you noticed about this cold-looking guy, he’s shy in person.
A small smile crossed his face as he fixed his specs, sliding it up.
“I’m Wonwoo…” he says, extending his hand for a shake. “Jeon Wonwoo. Sorry I forgot to introduce.”
He looked so shy as he lowered his head slightly, hiding his embarrassment with a sheepish smile. His cuteness made you chuckle. Despite the icy aura his features give off, you start to realize that maybe it was just all a façade.
“Nice to finally know your name, Wonwoo-ssi.”
“Drop the formalities. We’re just around the same age.” He chuckled. “How about yours? I assume you love sunflowers…”
Now that piqued your interest. His lips curved into a mischievous smile. Letting out a small smile in return, you nodded your head as a response.
“It’s Y/N,” you said, eyes meeting with his. And for the first time, you felt your heart skip a beat. Oh, no.
“H-How did you know I love sunflowers?”
“I’m taking a pre-medical course so scientific names aren’t foreign to me.”
Your mouth instantly formed into the shape of an O. It’s the first time you heard about that and you can’t believe that after months of talking, the both of you haven’t talked about that yet.
“Oh, god. I can’t believe we haven’t talked about this one. You too?” You asked with excitement filling your voice.
His right brow raised a bit as his eyes began to question.
“What do you mean? You are too?”
You nodded, smiling. Now, this is getting more interesting. For months, you’ve found out a lot of similarities between the two of you—you both can’t eat seafood. But one thing the two of you had in common was your love for cats and now this.
After meeting with him that day, you learned so much about Wonwoo. There’s no doubt how the both of you got into this situation. You became, not just playmates in the game, but also study buddies the moment you both learned you’re under the same program while going to two different universities. Nevertheless, that didn’t become an issue for the both of you to study together.
“Are you done with pharmacology already?” He asked you, removing his round glasses to rest his eyes a bit from reading too much.
You let out a small groan, trying to release all your stress and frustrations about that goddamn subject. You shook your head and gave him a sad smile.
“Almost. You?”
He stared at you. No response, no anything. He just sat there and stared at you, making you wonder if you have something weird on your face. Your forehead creases as you question him using your eyes.
“Can we just take a break and play a round or two?”
How can you say no? Closing your books, the both of you plopped yourselves in front of the television as Wonwoo turned the console on. What’s supposed to be just one round turned into three before the both of you went back to studying.
“Want me to help you study?” He asked in the middle of your study sesh, causing you to divert your eyes from the thick textbook you’re reading.
Wonwoo had already closed his textbook and tucked his handouts in his bag. You figured he was already done reviewing, also the reason why he’s offering some help.
“Is it okay? I’m kinda struggling with the calculations…” you shyly replied.
One thing about you, you hate mathematics. And who said there’s no math in pharmacy school? With all these dose calculations you have to deal with, you started to doubt. But for someone who likes to read and study like Wonwoo, sure everything seems basic.
He lets out a chuckle before snatching your handouts away from you.
“Aish, let me help you with that!”
“You just want me to finish studying so that we can play after…” you pouted, playfully rolling your eyes at him.
He paused to look at you, his eyes meeting yours. There’s something about the way he looks at you that doesn’t fail to take your breath away.
“Glad you’re aware.” He said before getting the scientific calculator from you and started reading out problems from the handout.
Another good thing about Jeon Wonwoo, he basically knows a lot of stuff. Some people say intelligence is sexy and you couldn’t agree more. You became so engrossed with dose calculations when Wonwoo started helping you out with it. The next thing you knew, he was already done teaching you and just letting you solve the problems on your own with the method he just taught you. Wonwoo was just sitting there beside you, checking how you solve the problems one by one.
“Thank you for helping me out!”
Wonwoo shrugged, lips curved into a smirk. You swore you wouldn’t be able to finish those problems without his help.
“What are friends for?”
Yup, friends. Felt like a reality check on your part but he was just stating the truth. As a matter of fact, you have a lot to thank Wonwoo about.
“Let me carry your bag…” he suddenly said, trying to get your tote bag from you. “You look tired.”
You gave him a glare.
“Why? I can manage.”
Rolling his eyes a bit, Wonwoo swiftly snatched your tote bag away from you. You could only sigh in defeat as he hung the straps on his shoulder, lips curving into a playful smirk. He winked at you before turning his back to walk, leaving you dumbfounded.
Did he just?
“What the hell was that?”
You placed your arms on your waist and asked. The question alone got him walking back to you.
“What the hell was what?”
“Did you just wink at me?”
He leaned in closer. Both your faces were only a few inches away, causing your eyes to widen in surprise. You could almost smell his perfume and his minty breath the moment he spoke.
“So what if I did?”
“Y-Yah!”
Wonwoo flashed a smile before he stepped back, starting to walk again. You stood frozen on that spot. Lately you have been noticing him doing stuff that you find really odd of him. It’s not something he would do but he’s been acting strangely clingy these days.
“Are you coming?” He asked as he looked back at you, getting you back on your senses.
But Wonwoo is Wonwoo. He may seem unpredictable at times but one thing for sure, he doesn’t fail to make your heart skip everytime he does things.
Senior year in college surely is hard as it seemed at first. A challenging one, you should say. From doing research papers, going through internships and answering loads and loads of quizzes and exams. It has been a hell of a year. All the sleepless nights and sudden breakdowns totally paid off the moment you stood in front of the full-length mirror. A proud smile crossed your face upon seeing your reflection, finally wearing your graduation toga.
“Y/N-ah, are you ready?”
You heard your mom ask from downstairs. Quickly gathering the rest of your stuff, you sling your bag on your shoulders before going out of your room. The moment you went down, you were welcomed by your mother’s hug.
“Aigoo, look at my daughter…” she mumbled with tears forming in the corner of her eyes. “I’m so proud of you!”
“Eh, eomma. Don’t cry!”
“Ah, by the way! Wonwoo’s here.”
Your heart skipped upon the mention of his name. Not that the feeling is foreign. You’re kind of getting used to it nowadays. The thought of Wonwoo waiting for you in the living area made you march your way towards where he is. You found him silently sitting on the couch as he patiently waited for you.
“Wonu-yah…”
He instantly turned his head to look at you, eyes immediately meeting yours. He had his hair brushed up while looking undeniably dashing even if he’s just wearing a semi-formal fit.
“Y/N…”
He stopped for a while and looked at you—seemingly mesmerized. Your cheeks started to heat up with the way he looked at you. It was if his eyes were all glued up to you. Trying to break the awkward silence between the two of you, you cleared your throat.
“Sorry. It’s just that you look beautiful.” Wonwoo told you as he put up a shy boyish smile while scratching the back of his head.
You let out a small chuckle, trying to hide your rosy cheeks.
“Thank you?”
As promised, Wonwoo was there at your graduation ceremony and days from now, it’ll be his turn. The both of you promised to be there at each other’s graduation.
“Oh, before I forget…” he turned to get the bouquet of flowers sitting on the couch next to where he was sitting earlier before handing it to you. “Congratulations on your graduation!”
You start to wonder how come you didn’t notice the set of sunflowers sitting next to him. But he just did give you flowers, making your knees weak. You almost teared up the moment you received the flowers from him. It was your first time to ever receive one and to think it was Wonwoo who did it first.
“Thank you. Oh my god, these are beautiful!”
“Look at you two! Why don’t you two take a photo together?” Your mom chirped in, coming out from nowhere while holding a polaroid camera in her hand.
The both of you stood there as your mother tried to take a photo. After what seemed like a lot of hesitations, you felt Wonwoo’s arms snake around your waist as he gently pulled you closer. You and Wonwoo posed for a photo taken by your mother, to which you silently prayed to turn out real nice.
“Will you be there at my graduation?” He asks you as he walks with you towards the car.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
A smile crossed his face as he held your free hand with his. Butterflies began to swarm across your stomach as you felt light jolts of electricity running through your spine with just a single touch. He stopped on his tracks causing you to do the same and faced to look at you. He stared deeply into your eyes as a smile slowly crept into his face.
“I’m so proud of you…” he whispered as he leaned in a bit.
His eyes were drawing yours to look at them as if they were meaning to tell you something.
“You know I could’ve done it if it weren’t for you. So, thank you…”
“Are you seriously thanking me? It was all you who made it, silly.” He chuckled, touching the tip of your nose with his point finger.
Your family decided to throw a graduation party for you. Your mom pretty much invited a couple of relatives and close friends. Of course, Wonwoo is there. There’s no way he wouldn’t be. The both of you were sitting on the swing on the front porch of your house, telling random stories to each other.
“Don’t you want to go inside?” Wonwoo asked.
“It’s pretty crowded there.”
“Right…” he muttered under his breath. “You’re claustrophobic, how could I forget?”
A small chuckle slipped through your mouth. Wonwoo may seem cold because of his icy aura, but no. If anything, he’s the most sensitive and thoughtful person you have ever known. He could be a bit introverted at times but you could see how he’s trying to open up with you.
“Thank you for the flowers, by the way,” you told him after remembering how happy you were to receive those beautiful sunflowers from him. “I loved it, really.”
“I’m glad you loved it…” he replied with a proud smile forming on his lips. “I woke up early just to get them. They run out pretty fast these days. And seriously, who starts a ceremony that early?!”
That made you laugh. You exhaled and looked up at the stars.
“You really didn’t have to but you still did anyway.”
You were thankful to have him there with you. Not just right at the moment but in your life. You couldn’t imagine what life would be if you didn’t bump into him in that game. It has always been your what-if—if you didn’t get teamed up with him.
“You know I’d do anything for you.”
The same butterflies you used to feel whenever you’re with him were right there once again. The both of you went silent after that as your mind tried to process the words which came out from him just now. You can’t stop your blood from rushing into your cheeks. After contemplating for a bit, you hesitantly looked at him.
“W-What do you mean?”
Wonwoo looked back at you, suddenly feeling the same electricity that you felt earlier.
“You know what…” he began to say. “No matter how hard I try to come up with the right words to say, it’s just now that I realized that there isn’t really a perfect way to say this.”
“Say what?”
“I like you.” He said, looking straight in your eyes. “I really like you.”
Wonwoo. The great Jeon Wonwoo is… confessing. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. The only thing you could ever focus on was him and the wild beating of your heart.
“I know I’m being too risky for saying this and might seem fast but I just wanted to let you know. You don’t have to feel the same way. It’s alright if you can’t recip—”
I don’t know about you but some people say that the best way to make someone shut up is to kiss them. Well, you’re one of those people who believed in that saying and so you took their advice.
“It might not seem like it, but you do talk a lot sometimes, Jeon Wonwoo.”
“You kissed me…”
Wonwoo, still left in the daze, stared at you in disbelief.
“So what if I did?” You flashed him a playful smile.
“That was my first kiss!”
“Mine either!” You rebutted then paused when you realized something. “Wait, that was your first?!”
Your eyes immediately widened upon that realization. But you can’t help but feel proud of yourself for being the first lucky girl to claim his lips.
“So what if it is?”
You smirked at him.
“Let me make sure the last one would still be coming from me…” you replied, leaving him all red.

pairing: non-idol!dk x fem!reader genre: angst word count: 1480 author's note: sorry if this one's typed in all lowercase letters and with no proofread or whatsoever hehe goodnight
“oppa, congratulations on your wedding!” you greeted seungcheol the moment he approached the table you were seated together with his new wife.
“aish, y/n. thank you!” seungcheol snickered before turning a bit serious this time. “you know if it weren’t for you, i wouldn’t be able to be her husband.”
you playfully winked at the newlyweds, causing the both of them to laugh at the gesture. it was seungcheol’s wedding day, finally. after years of trying to matchmake the both of them, the fruit of your labour has come.
“hyung!”
you froze on your spot the moment you caught sight of him standing behind seungcheol as he approached him. both your gazes automatically met, as if it was the most natural thing that could occur.
“seokmin! i thought you’re at the bar grabbing drinks?”
seungcheol broke the ice shortly after his wife shot him with meaningful looks. you found it funny how your eyes caught that one too.
“i was. but you see, it’s a bit crowded out there,” he replied as he pointed at the bar filled with seungcheol’s mates. however, his eyes were still fixated on you.
thousand volts of electricity ran down your spine as he gave you that look as if he was trying to tell you something. with a light shake of your head, you turned your head towards seungcheol’s wife and gave her a small smile before using the world’s famous excuse to save yourself from the awkwardness.
“excuse me, oppa, eonni. i’m just going to the comfort room.”
the both of them only nodded. slowly, you started to walk away from them and even if you had turned your back, you could still feel his eyes on you. you didn’t bother throwing him another glance and walked towards the back door.
tears were threatening to fall from your eyes but you were quick to wipe them with your palm heel. just as you were about to reach for the knob, someone caught your arm.
“y/n-ah…”
his touch made you flinch which caused you to automatically yank your arm away.
“what?”
seokmin let out a heavy sigh. shortly lowering his head before looking right back at you.
“can we talk?”
you stared at him as you contemplated your own thoughts. just when you thought you’re already doing well, fine with how it all ended—the universe will give you this.
“about what?” you asked as if you still have no idea what it's all about.
“us…” seokmin took a little pause. he couldn’t quite compose himself, his thoughts too were scattered as much as yours. truth be told, you can never be too ready for situations like this no matter how much you prepare yourself.
“is there anything left to talk about?” you swallowed the huge lump on your throat as you balled your fist in an attempt to prevent your tears from falling.
“look, i’m sorry for being a total jerk, for leaving you just like that and with no proper explanations. you didn’t deserve all the shit i’ve done to you.”
your lips formed into a bitter smile as you nod your head. seokmin left you hanging, that’s a fact. and even if you don’t know the reason why, you forgave him. even if you knew you deserve better than that, you still understood.
“i may not know your reason why you did that but i did my best to understand both our situation…” you spoke with all your might. mustering all the courage you have in you, you looked at him straight into his eyes. “maybe i was getting on your way too much and i’m sorry too if i did.”
“y/n—“
“i’ll go in first.”
and you understand now why it was called a comfort room.
for months, you already imagined every possible scenario of meeting him again. but no matter how many scenarios you can come up with, you’ll never be ready for it. you’ve already conditioned yourself that you no longer needed an explanation or an apology from him. no matter what he did, even if it broke you to the core—you forgave him. you refused to hold any grudges against him because you think it wouldn’t do you anything good as you move on. you went on with your life while you were trying to leave everything behind. only to realize you were wrong.
you thought you no longer needed it when all along that’s the only thing you’ve been waiting for so you can finally set yourself free from the chain that’s keeping you trapped into this misery you were almost starting to call home.
everyone went off their feet and started clapping their hands as the newlyweds marched towards the dance floor. you could only feel happiness for the both of them as you left yourself to wonder if you will be able to have what they have someday. will you ever find the love you truly deserve just like how seungcheol found his.
in the middle of the party, you found yourself walking towards the courtyard with a glass of champagne in your hand. it was almost sunset as you looked at the sky before closing your eyes to feel the cold breeze touching your skin.
“you’ve always loved sunsets, don’t you?”
you didn’t need to open your eyes to know whose voice it was. you kept your eyes closed and hugged yourself.
“i do,” you replied as you slowly opened your eyes. “you know that already, kyeom.”
you let out a sigh.
“why are you here?“ you asked him, giving him a short glance before taking a sip on your champagne.
“i wouldn’t miss cheol’s wed—”
“i mean, here.”
he put down his glass of scotch on the table nearby before placing both his hands inside his pockets. he breathed in before looking back at the sun as it starts to slowly set.
“i saw you come down here so i followed you.”
your brows furrowed, “because?”
turning your head towards seokmin, your eyes darted to him. he seemed a bit uneasy, obviously avoiding your gaze this time.
“if you’re here to apologize again for what happened to us and what you did to me, you’ve done it. i forgive you.”
knowing him, he’s not the type to be frank and be direct with what he has to say. but you already knew why he was there and what he’s trying to do.
“you do?”
“what’s the point of holding grudges against you? i love you too much to even stay mad at you.”
you were caught off guard with your own words. it was foolish of you to say now but it was the truth, though. lee seokmin will always be your great lost love.
taken aback from what you just said, he turned to look at you with his questioning eyes.
“you still love me?”
another bitter smile formed on your lips. it is no lie that you still do but things change. even if you still feel the same way towards him, the both of you just… simply can’t.
“answering your question won’t make a difference. we’re not meant for each other, kyeom. i understand how you were before i decided to finally end it. maybe you were just in love with the fact that i’m always right beside you no matter what…”
finally, the words you have been meaning to say all these months were coming like water flowing in a stream.
“you don’t have to be sorry for me all the time and you don’t have to worry too. you made me this way, you made me strong that i can even assure you now that i can handle this myself.” you continued, taking another sip of your champagne.
“i hurt you, i just left you with no words. you should be mad at me for treating you that way.” he persisted that almost made you roll your eyes. he has a point, though. you should be mad for all the things he had done to you. after all, what you went through with him wasn’t just a big joke. and you could understand how frustrating it must have been for him that you refused to be mad at him when you should’ve been. but then again, what’s the point?
“i chose not to, didn’t i?”
the both of you were left in silence for a few seconds. you gave him one last look as your gazes met. after hesitating for quite a bit, you decided to reach for his hand and gave it a light squeeze.
“you’re happy now with her. just focus on that. stop worrying about me from now on. just know that i’m happy as long as you are too.”
and you knew that even if you’re not the one for him, seokmin will always hold a special place in your heart.

“Let me make sure the last one would still be coming from me…” you replied, leaving him all red.

pairing : idol!scoups x fem!reader genre : romance, (slight) fluff, idol!au, secretdating!au word count : 3133 author's note : just because dadi cheol won't leave my mind these days...
from: cheol 🍒 meet me outside your dorm.
seungcheol really does know how to surprise you—showing up at this ungodly hour without prior notice. you found yourself in panic as you grabbed his off-white hoodie you borrowed the last time the two of you went out and slipped it on. apparently, your boyfriend didn’t give you much time to spare. after putting your cap and mask on, you carefully tiptoed your way towards the door.
soon after the elevator doors opened, your eyes easily spotted his figure. he had his back leaned against the wall as he waited for you in silence. seungcheol was all covered up, making him seemingly unrecognizable. but what caught your attention was the parka he was wearing that made you chuckle about how cute he looked. the hood of his coat has these cute small bear ears, making him look like… a bear, obviously.
“cheol…” you called in a low voice. your eyes automatically scanned the whole area to see anything or anyone suspicious around. you could only let out a relieved sigh to assure the two of you are alone.
seungcheol looked up to see you and a smile immediately radiated on his face. his eyes looked tired but despite that, he still managed to give you a smile as he went to give you a hug.
“i missed you.”
you wrapped your arms around him, hugging him back. even his voice seemed so tired. he buried his face on the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent. the both of you stayed like that for a good minute or two before he pulled away.
“walk with me?” he asked you with a boyish smile plastered on his face. he extended his hand for you to hold as you took it right away. the two of you began to walk hand in hand towards the nearby park.
“how was your day?”
it was your turn to ask, giving his hand a light squeeze as you took a small glance.
“tiring, as usual,” was the first thing he said. “we’ve been recording the whole day and i feel like i’m about to have a sore throat.”
“aigoo…” you cooed. “didn’t i tell you to drink water before you start recording?”
“but i did, babe.”
you chuckled at his defensive retaliation. he looked really cute pulling that bear seungcheol fashion off. seeing him now after almost two weeks of not seeing each other makes you realize how terribly you missed him.
the moment you reached the park, the both of you decided to take a seat on the nearest park bench. the air was cold causing you to clasp your hands and rubbed it against each other.
“cold?”
you gave seungcheol a look before nodding. a smirk slowly formed on his face as he reached for your hand, trying to keep it warm for you.
“how’s your rehearsals, by the way?” he started to ask. your meetups with seungcheol has always been like this and even if it seemed repetitious, you just don’t get tired of telling him how your day went and hearing his as well.
“i’m quite catching up on the dance routine we’re practicing compared the last time…” you shared, getting into more details about your life as a trainee.
“i hope you’re not having a hard time.” seungcheol muttered under his breath, looking away. “i heard you’ve been training nonstop these days.”
“from whom you have heard that?” you looked at him suspiciously, squinting your eyes on him causing him to let out a small laugh. was he secretly keeping an eye on you?
“just… you know, i know a lot of people.”
“aish, choi seungcheol,” you hissed, rolling your eyes a bit at him. you reached for the hood of his bear parka and adjusted it to cover his face a bit. only then you realized that he wasn’t wearing a mask. “yah! why aren’t you wearing any mask?!”
seungcheol looked at you with an amused expression on his face. he was trying to suppress his laugh upon seeing your reaction.
“there’s no one around, y/n-ah.”
“but still, we need to be careful. we don’t want to start a fire, do we?” you asked, giving your boyfriend a meaningful look.
seungcheol lightly shook his head, chuckling. in the world that the both of you chose to live in, dating is definitely a struggle. as a matter of fact, it is considered forbidden. but if we’re talking about choi seungcheol, you knew it yourself, you'd always be willing to take the risk.
“should i walk you back to your dorm?” seungcheol asked after minutes of silently sitting beside you, taking each moment in. a smile slowly crept into your face as you looked at him, nodding your head.
“let’s do that!”
your boyfriend would always do that—walk you back to your dorm every time he makes you sneak out. back then during his trainee days, the both of you would always walk to that same park and just spend time talking about random stuff. after each night, he’d always walk you back to your place. it is undeniable that he became quite busy after his debut. even if the two of you are practically in the same building almost every day, you do see each other a lot but would content yourselves with sneaky glances and casual sunbae-hoobae gestures just so no one would suspect.
silence filled the air as seungcheol walked with you, fingers intertwined with yours inside the pocket of his bear parka. giving his hand a light squeeze, a faint groan escaped your lips as you caught sight of your dorm building. the walk didn’t even take longer and a sudden rush of disappointment took over. it was only times like this when you got to spend some time with him. due to your line of work, the both of you rarely have the time and freedom  to do what usual couples do.
“aigoo, my baby,” he cooed, cupping your cheeks the moment he noticed your shoulders dropping in disappointment. “are you sad?”
seungcheol made you look at him, his eyes gazing on you through his specs. without hesitations, he pulled you in for a hug.
“you don’t have to worry. we’ll see each other tomorrow.”
your brows instantly furrowed.
“can we? we both have a packed schedule tomorrow…”
he gave you a reassuring smile before pressing his lips on your forehead.
“i’ll make sure to drop by your practice room, alright?”
“you promise?”
seungcheol nodded, gently pushing you towards the entrance of the building. you pout your lips like a little sulky girl and look at him with sad eyes, causing seungcheol to let out a chuckle at your silliness.
“i promise, alright? stop sulking.”
you let out a sigh this time, causing another chuckle from him. to be honest, you really don’t want to go back yet—clingy as it may sound. you still wanted to spend a little more time with your cheol.
“go inside now, you might catch a cold.”
“aish, alright…”
you started to walk away from him slowly. seungcheol must have noticed the sadness in both your eyes and voice.
“y/n-ah…”
you swiftly turned to look back at him. much to your surprise, seungcheol removed the bear hood of his parka, slightly moving his mask down and pressed his lips into yours for a chaste kiss.
“YAH CHOI SEUNGCHEOL!”
you heard him chuckle softly after he pulled away. he wore his hood again and fully covered half of his face with his mask. you were left dumbfounded—still can’t process what he just did considering the two of you are outside. OUTSIDE.
that was a brave move, you thought. but even if you wanted to stay amazed by that, fear started creeping into your mind. your eyes automatically roamed its way around the area and even if you didn’t see anyone, you still can’t prevent yourself from being anxious.
you gave your boyfriend a death glare only to receive a cheeky laugh coming from him.
“just pray no one saw what you just did.”
“i don’t think someone caught that?” he replied, looking around, causing you to do the same once more.
it surely was dangerous for the both of you to be out there at an ungodly hour but then you tried to keep away your anxious thoughts as you breathed it all out.
you gazed into his eyes and let out a small smile.
“i love you.”
seungcheol’s boyish grin appeared on his face as he stared at you, adoration obviously pooling his eyes.
“i love you more, you know that,” he told you, kissing the top of your head. “i’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”
you nodded your head as a response, smiling at him.
“be safe on your way back. send me a message when you get home.”
seungcheol, being the silly one that he is, slightly bowed at you before saying a yes politely. he waited for you to get inside the elevator. the moment the lift dinged, you waved him goodbye as he put his arms up and formed a heart before waving back at you.
“Y/N-AH!”
you almost jumped out your bed the moment you heard sujin’s loud voice erupting from the living area or your dorm. in a matter of seconds, there she was already standing at the edge of your bed with both of her hands on her tiny waist. sujin was holding her phone out to you, directing you to a news article from dispatch.
as much as you don’t want to believe to what your eyes was seeing, yes, it is indeed the dispatch everyone knows about.
that same old fear you felt the other night once again washed your whole system. acting upon reflex, you quickly got into your feet as you snatched sujin’s phone away from her to read the whole article.
oh, no.
your eyes slowly looked at sujin in horror. you could feel the heavy pound of your heart inside your chest as if it was going to pop out any minute now. all you could ever think about was seungcheol—how’s it going to be for him after all this?
both of you are surely doomed.
“i already talked to their manager regarding this matter…” it was all your manager oppa could say after he asked for you to come down to the conference room that afternoon after the news broke out on the internet.
the issue alone pretty much occupied your brain, causing you to lose focus on your schedule. your manager already decided to let you have a day off for that day—with all the stress and anxiety you are currently dealing with.
how can it not cause you total distress when it’s all out on the internet: seventeen’s leader s.coups rumored to be dating a trainee from the same agency. you still haven’t talked to seungcheol about everything that is going on. you couldn’t even think straight since you headed out that morning—trying to avoid all the press. soon after you thought about him, you received a call from seungcheol the first time that day.
“jagiya…”
his voice was surprisingly calm and soothing. perhaps he already knew that you’re close to losing your mind over this mess. you could feel that he’s been worrying about you since the news broke out.
“what should we do now?”
it was all you could ever ask. the fear of the unknown is slowly eating you and it frustrates you every goddamn minute not knowing what to do. but just like what everybody has been telling you, seungcheol came up with the same answer.
“we still have to see.”
you breathed out a huge amount of frustration as you closed your eyes for a good minute. you were on the verge of tears, hands shaking. you were anxious all day and the members have already tried their best to calm you down and keep you away from the news. however, you just can’t help but think about it.
every second that passes, the thought bugs you nonstop. the photo—it was taken during that night. all along you were right. someone was really there keeping an eye on both of you and seungcheol.
“y/n-ah?” your manager called, interrupting your thoughts. “come with me.”
your heart started to race wildly. his voice sounded so serious and you can’t help but feel extremely anxious about what’s going to happen next. you trailer behind your manager as he led the way towards the conference once again.
the moment the door opened, you felt your chest getting heavier each second that passed. your eyes caught sight of seungcheol, sitting beside their manager while at the other side of the table sits the president.
you and seungcheol were finally dismissed from the meeting, leaving the president and both your managers inside the conference room. the moment you exited the room with seungcheol, he immediately reached for your hand and gave it a light comforting squeeze. he looked at you with a reassuring smile. a lot of thoughts were running round your mind after the talk you had with the company’s president amidst the dating rumors. there has been no final decision made yet and that’s what scared you even more.
will they force the both of you to break up? there’s no other reasonable way to solve and neutralize the situation but to ask you to break up with him. either way, you know for sure they’re going to deny the rumors between you and seungcheol. seungcheol is at the peak of his career and there’s no way the management would let anything sabotage that.
“you’re cold, babe…” he spoke, causing you to give him a short glance before sighing. “sorry for the trouble i caused you.”
he put his arms around your body, engulfing you into a tight hug—that is exactly what you needed.
“stop worrying, love. there’s no way i’m going to let them break us apart,” seungcheol reassured, caressing your hair as he refused to let go hugging you.
thoughts won’t stop circling inside your mind that you almost felt like nothing’s ever going to be able to comfort and calm you down.
“but you know they’re going to do that, right?”
seungcheol assured you with a smile, shaking his head a bit.
“trust me on this. i won’t let them.”
in the midst of the unknown, seungcheol sounded so sure of what he’s saying. there’s something about his smile that brings comfort within you. you trust him with your whole life, that’s for sure. and if he’s going to say that everything’s going to be alright, then so be it.
in your world where you have to weigh and choose between your career and happiness, it surely is hard. the both of you dreamt of this—being an idol. at the same time, the both of you love each other. but the question will always be: what matters more?
“you above all else, y/n. always remember that,” seungcheol caressed your cheek this time, looking directly into your eyes. “i’m really sorry for being so reckless. i should’ve been more careful.”
because of too much disorientation, you weren’t able to come up with a response. you were pretty much absentminded the whole time and the only thing you could ever think of was how you never wanted to end things with seungcheol. you just love him so much that breaking up with him actually felt so illegal. the only thing you could make up at that time was a nod. the both you were aware this was bound to happen. you just didn’t expect it to happen so soon.
“kids,” his manager called both of your attention after walking out of the conference room. you automatically scanned your managers’ faces to see any reaction coming from them but to no avail, their faces were void of any.
no.
“the company decided to confirm the rumors between the two of you…” your manager announced, giving you a comforting smile.
wait, did he just say…
“yah, hyung?” seungcheol, in a complete state of shock, had his eyes widened as he questioned his manager with a knowing look. his manager could only nod with a smile as he fixed his glasses.
both your managers couldn’t believe themselves as well. the president has surprisingly come up with the least expected decision.
“the two of you are lucky, congrats!” your manager told the both of you.
you and seungcheol looked at each other with disbelief with a hint of joy in your eyes. did the president just approve of the two of you?
“but what about the fans?” you started to question. it was obviously one of the most important matters to consider.
“we’ll help you with that in case something goes wrong.” both your managers assured.
“i still can’t believe…” you uttered, still in a daze. you brought your attention back to your phone, reading the newly released statement from your company.
even seungcheol can’t believe the unexpected turn of events. the two of you were in an empty practice room—just the two of you. the members were happy about the news and congratulated the two of you. the other members of seventeen also extended their greetings towards you and their hyung.
you and seungcheol agreed to be extra careful
from now on. both your managers strictly told the two of you to avoid meeting outside.
“no matter what happens, i’m not going to leave you.”
your lips slowly formed into a smile. seungcheol caressed your cheek and stared at your face as if he was memorizing every detail. his face slowly inched towards you, undeniably can’t take his eyes off your lips.
the moment you could feel his lips closely pressing into yours, your eyes automatically shut.
“kids.”
the both of you flinched at the sound of his manager’s voice emerging from the hallway. seungcheol quickly pulled away from you. his manager-hyung looked at the two of you with a mischievous smile plastered on his face, trying his best to suppress his laugh.
both you and seungcheol were red as a tomato.
“get ready, i’ll take you guys home in a bit.”
he was about to leave the room when he stopped for a second and looked back at the two of you, smirking.
“you can kiss now, by the way.”
“HYUNG!”
and then his manager walked out, giggling. you turned to look at seungcheol, seeing him all red—even his ears. after flashing him a playful smile, you leaned towards seungcheol and gave him a quick peck on his lips before getting onto your feet to get ready
“YAH!” you heard him shout from the hallway after running away from the practice room, leaving him all flustered.
