A piece based off of this idea I had, where Hector rising to godhood and subsequently losing his sanity is somewhat equivocal to Decompression Illness, a deadly affliction often experienced by divers who rise too quickly while swimming in the ocean. Poor soul got The Bends just because he wanted to get some air (for himself and other drain folk).

Does it make sense for me to draw Stygian as an "prince of shadows" alicorn? Not at all. Is it fun for me, hurts nobody and therefore doesnt have to be logical? Absolutely.

So, Trout. Have you just not drawn anything all February? Nah i did draw! BUT it did not feel right to post, knowing people where waiting for their scugs ( BUT ALSO: All of them where patient! I did not get a single negative comment over the delay! This is purely on me and my anxiety! ) Have to admit tho that most the things I drew where related to my boys, or my comforthorse: Stygian

A squirm of scugs

I did not get half as many scugs to draw than i had anticipated, and people had to wait an aweful long time, so I decided not to draw rthem in the simple rainworld style and instead draw them in more detail with my personal touch! This being said, I hope I caught them all (slippery things) Enjoy!

Starting with Collector from @potassium-guy I feel the urge to play monopoly with them. I also have a feeling that I would loose

second in line is this wormgras bean from @yullzor I get the same urge I have when looking at seaanemones. I want to run my fingers through the tendrils but I dont think that would be a healthy idea XD

next is The Ender, by @kirpichq And its where I have to apologize! I was so hyperfocussed on getting the beautyful scars right, that I missed the tailend tassles. Im so sorry TT_TT I see that now that I uploaded it aaaa

I am thankful to @malaikaesc for submitting Tallyscug. Not only because it gave me an excuse to listen to Tally Hall, but also because it helped me get back into the scug drawing mood.

The Parade (Full name being Constant Parades of Aid) by @fishyaudio was a lot of fun to draw! The flowyness and dynamic just really flew with me

Evilgaysoda on bluesky submitted vulturescug. And since I did not have that many submissions, I decided to draw their partner too. Just look how adorable they are! Vulturescugs colorsheme is so soothing!

Bombardier and Crafter are both by @apple-eating-goat I saw them and I heard squirrelnoises. Just please dont drop that grenade!

Next are Simulacrum by @baltdev and Nonpareil by @nyuufruit who just worked so well with each other, coming to a similar idea from two completely opposing directions! "Are you scug?" "its complicated"

Hey, quick update to those who still wait on an update for the multiscug image: This week our company was bought up by a new company due to our old boss retiring. Nobody was given warning, but the current status is that we will all keep our workplaces! So sufficient to say this week is quite a busy one! BUT concerning the multiscug: I will still do it! It will just take a moment!
