Day 2: Mythology

As the high priestess for Ichigo, the God of the Sun, Orihime has a duty to tend to the spiritual needs of her people. Kind, compassionate, and gentle, Orihime also became renowned for her beauty and her magical healing powers. But though many young men desire to marry her, Orihime's heart already belongs to another. No one else knows, but the man she loves is none other than Lord Ichigo of the Sun himself. Many believe her foolish for loving a god so dearly. Even Orihime believes that Lord Ichigo would never even notice her. But she certainly never thought that one day, the god himself would reciprocate her love for him.

Lord Ichigo has never been so fascinated by a mortal before. But ever since Orihime became the high priestess of his temple, he could not help but take notice of her kind heart and sincere compassion towards others. It's those two traits that draw Ichigo to Orihime, and before long, he had also fallen in love with her. Unable to resist any longer, he descended to the mortal realm to meet her for real. In the halls of his temple, he makes Orihime his bride, promising eternal devotion to her. Likewise, Orihime promises her devotion to him, overjoyed that her feelings are actually reciprocated.

However, it is forbidden for an immortal deity to fall in love with a mortal being. But Ichigo and Orihime continue to meet each other every morning, in a secluded garden behind the temple. There, they share many stolen moments together, and their love blossomed beneath the golden sun.

But one day, following a chance encounter where she heals the powerful faerie lord, Orihime is astonished when Ichigo selects her to become his bride, and the new High Lady. As such, she must leave her home behind in order to join Ichigo's side in the elegant, pristine world of the Midnight Court. As the days pass, and she gradually gets used to the duties of a High Lady, Orihime comes to see a different side to the powerful High Lord. Ichigo may be aloof and distant, but he treats her with genuine kindness, and it isn't long before Orihime becomes absolutely fascinated with him. As such, Orihime comes to fall in love with Ichigo, and wants nothing more than to be by his side for eternity.

As the High Lord of the Midnight Court, Ichigo had never expected to become captivated with a sweet flower fairy. But following their fateful encounter, when Orihime had healed him of his injuries, Ichigo finds himself charmed by her genuine compassion and her plucky spirit. And when she joins him in the Midnight Court to become his High Lady, Ichigo cannot deny just how similar they are, and their unique bond becomes something even more beautiful than anything he's ever experienced. Soon, Ichigo can no longer deny it. He's deeply in love with Orihime the rose fairy.

However, not all is well in the Midnight Court. There are many enemies who would rather see Ichigo dead than have a flower fairy become their High Lady. Ichigo must do whatever it takes to protect Orihime from the enemies that lurk within the shadows.
