I hate how the Grandmaster class is gender locked in Fates. It wasn't in Awakening so why is it in Fates? I was so excited to learn it was back, only to be sorely disappointed. I can't make the most specialist girl in all of Ylisse a Grandmaster now. I don't care if Severa only has a 5% magic growth in Fates, she deserves to be a tactician. She has supports that show she is inclined towards tactics. Let the best girl be a Grandmaster pls :( Also Great Lord technically wasn't gender locked. Let me have Great Lord Laslow for my Chrom!Inigo agenda. I don't care if lodestar is similar, it's not the same. Chrom's 2nd child should have been able to reclass to great lord like how the Avatar's children can be tacticians

that's. that's the point. you're supposed to feel like your decisions don't make a difference. you're supposed to feel hopeless when emmeryn dies. you're supposed to feel like you have no real options when facing lucina's judgement. these moments are intended to make the player feel fate's inescapable grip on them, which makes it all the more rewarding when the final choice the player makes in the fight against grima lets fate loosen its grip at last: the choice was made, and it DID matter, and fate was truly bested, be it in the present or 1000 years from now
