Shisui and Itachi Modern HC’s

ITACHI

-In college. One of those handsome ass family friends who you meet when you’re a kid and are like 10 years older than you.

-Majors in Business, Minors is Psychology. He loves to learn about the human mind, emotions and ways of thinking because we all know he’s very emotionally intelligent, and would probably have been a psychologist, but his family was like ‘hell no’ and were just like ‘If you wanna do human mind do neurology.’

-So he’s a business major that’s gonna take over the family company. He has SO MUCH PRESSURE ON HIM. Like this man is low key ALWAYS stressed, but he’s a strong man and keeps composed.

-Would prefer to marry after college.

-He loves to study at cafe’s and observe people. It’s not creepy, he’s just people watching. And he will most DEFINITELY get away with it cause of pretty privilege.

-Has never actually been in a serious relationship. He’s had so much on his plate his entire life, family expectations, school, studying, after school activities, taking care of sasuke, he’s just never had the time for a girl. But when he does get into one, he understands the do’s and dont’s. So he’s the best boyfriend he can be, caring and sweet.

-He’s a tennis player. He’s always playing with Shisui no matter what, it helps him vent out his frustrations and feelings on the court, so he’s very good.

SHISUI

-He’s a bit of a womanizer. Like he’s not a total hopping to every girl in a span of two weeks, but he likes to get around from time to time. But he’s not an utter man whore and has self respect, he can commit.

-He’s also in college. He plays tennis and Soccer. He is a political science major. Don’t be fooled by his sweet and cheerful demeanor, this man fights like a lawyer when it comes to politics. The uncles influenced him. He’s good at public speaking, understanding governmental power and issues.

-He lives in a VERY nice apartment with Itachi. He’s in charge of the cooking and the bill management. This man can and will cook. He knows how to handle money too.

-Has multiple part times jobs, one as a tennis couch for little kids because he was an only child and he wanted a baby sibling, one as a barista at a coffee shop, and an internship at a local law firm. He does like to get around, but TRUST this man has GOALS and does not play about his career.

-His guilty pleasure is K-Drama’s. That’s how he has a lot of girls and knows how to flirt subtly. He knows what girls like and does the exact same thing. But he would rather die than tell anyone.

About Shisui Uchiha

just some shower thoughts i had about him. this is very headcanon heavy and rather vague at times.

Unlike Itachi, who was born during the last year of the great Shinobi war, it is safe to say that Shisui was born while it was still going on. So naturally, he was exposed to the worst side humanity had to offer, most likely traumatizing him in the process.

His mother is never mentioned, so I assume she must have died during his birth or in his early childhood. His father, most likely ravaged by illness before he even entered the battlefield, lost his left leg, leaving him with phantom pains and high medical bills. As a born shinobi, Shisui’s father lacked the funds and education to pursue any other path of career, leaving his child as the only breadwinner of his family. Shisui probably had to spend his entire childhood and youth slaving away just to keep his father and himself afloat. Additionally, he took care of a terminally i’ll man who didn’t even remember his son’s name. Of course, this would lead to Shisui being very perceptive of the psychology of the ones around him, how else could he search for a sign of his father’s state health changing?

Shisui often spent time wondering what it’s like to have a family, a family in which he is allowed to be what he is: a child. Someone who is cared for, someone who is looked after. Despite being an Uchiha, his relation to Kagami Uchiha - the Uchiha allied with Tobirama, the very person planting the seed for all the discrimination the Uchiha would face, up to a point of their genocide, would probably lead him to feel ostracized within his own clan. And like everyone of us, he is trying to find the balance between individuality and belonging - the latter being the one he lacked. His abilities as an Uchiha become a defining factor of identity for him, leading to him being willing to let a comrade via withholding aid - just on the basis of that comrade potentially being stronger than him. Once his comrade dies, the young Uchiha is ravaged by feelings of guilt, by the awareness that the blood of his friend is on his hand.

But nevertheless, he is blessed with a new Uchiha ability - the mangekyou sharingan. His entire life he had to enter a role he didn’t want to be in, robbing him of memories he could have had. So what better mangekyou ability to have than the one that alters memories, and, in extension, alters your role in the world?

Shisui’s resentment against his Uchiha identity starts bubbling up inside him again, and being a shinobi who frequents B- or even A-Rank missions as a literal teenager (how else would you pay for your father’s medical debt as a shinobi, eh?) he was closer to the village from the start. Hailed as the strong and talented Uchiha boy, taking on missions to serve his village, behind the facade a broken kid forced to grow up way too quickly. His first serious doubts begin when he is forced to kill Mukai Kohinata, a direct reflection of Shisui, just the other way around: a father wanting nothing but funds to care for his dying child.

Things don’t get better when the tension between the village and the Uchiha rise. His own brethren or the collective - who will you support? Getting into Shisui’s mind and twisting his perception of what’s right is an easy game for Danzo, almost too easy. A civil war breaking out in Konoha would be a repetition of his initial trauma - the one thing Shisui wants to prevent the most. Shisui starts feeling conflicted, until he finally stumbles upon THE miracle solution: forcefully keeping up the status quo by manipulating the leader of the revolution - an unpleasant reality, but better than the Uchiha clan’s extermination or a civil war breaking out, right? To Shisui, atleast. And honestly, who could blame him? As a ninja who graduated young, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he lacks the methodical and critical thinking outside of the parameters of violence and manipulation he is used to from Danzo and the shinobi world.

And then it happens. He agrees to suppress the revolution of his own ethnic group just for the sake of keeping up a false sense of peace, and suddenly, his co conspirators, the man that is supposed to be guarding him, leading him, suddenly abandons him and steals his eye? Shisui’s entire identity as the Uchiha boy from Konoha collapses and he doesn’t know what to think or believe anymore. In his last moments, he becomes aware of the utter pointlessness of the killing and the brutality of the shinobi system, the sheer feeling of powerless overwhelming him. At this point, death seems like a sweeter option than continuing to live powerlessly in such a system.

Shisui is a skilled ninja, but not always in contact with his emotions. Therapy is a rarity in the leaf, with even the counselors themselves not being able to give advise outside of the parameters of what’s “acceptable” in the hidden leaf.

So, what better way to hide your agony than behind a -albeit manufactured- goofy smile?

I wanted to ask you about some Uchiha HCs as parents (especially Shisui haha). Idk, things like "How they would react if their Y/N told them they were going to be parents" or "How many children would they have if they had them and how would they treat them?"

🥹 mmm Shisui. Yes. 🙌🏻 Since I’m in a fog, I’ll choose Obito and Shisui — I will probably add more later and reblog then. Focusing more on Shisui though.

(I sort of expanded on this a bit. Leading up to birth etc).

• He thinks they can’t have sex anymore 😂 ‘I’ll hurt the baby.’ This woman will have to coax him to satisfy her needs and being hormonal, he’s going to get scared and cave.

• Every time she’s sick, he’s sick. lol. Obito is one of those husbands that are sympathy ill when their wife is unwell, pregnant or not. Though the morning sickness he had worse than her.

• When she actually starts showing, the tables are turned. Obito can’t keep his hands off her. This is amazing! ‘I put that in you…’ —🫠 👈🏻 her. Yea, he did, that big dummy stuffed her good.

• When she is too big to do anything for herself, Obito takes center stage in everything. He matured rather quickly, strange how the prospect of becoming a dad alters an individual.

• 😅 Hit it from the back too rough and ultimately the orgasm she had made her go into labor (I know this is false advertisement but it’s Obito, he’s that guy).

• Nearly passes out as his wife is sprawled up on the stirrups, looks anyways and dear lord, ‘are you recording this?’ She says. Yea, he is. Unintentionally the sharingan populates and he might as well.

• Holds his son for the first time and cries. I think most men do, he’s the most precious thing in this world. Obito didn’t think he could ever make up for what he did in the past, but this one human. This tiny, itty bitty baby boy might just be his Hail Mary. That he could bringing someone good.

Shisui:

• Family man. 100%. They’ve been trying, and it’s not taking. Not because they’re incapable of it, both healthy and young. He’s just so busy. The days they end up trying don’t line up with her cycle and I mean they’re not just going to not have sex. Any chance he gets to put a bit of him and a little Uchiha inside her are precious moments.

• Firm believer in holding her legs up for a half hour 😂 ‘it has to marinate.’ Big eye rolls from his wife, who just lets him do things his way. After a few months, she finally begs him to just take a week off when she’s the most susceptible of his seed taking root.

• The mere idea that she is rearing and ready to go has Shisui taking his wife in the most unexpected of times. Maybe a week off was a good idea. Needless to say, the house chores are piling up. She wasn’t particularly fond of being shoved head first in the dryer either.

• ‘Making baby is the fun part…’ is his excuse when she chides him for it. Dear lord, this man shooting blanks and still trying.

• Then the unimaginable is announced, well not unimaginable but it felt like too long to actually confirm they were successful. Shisui from this point forward makes sure his pregnant wife gets everything she wants and then some.

• There is no shock period. This was all planned, Shisui is eternally grateful that his wife will be ushering their next of kin. All the hard work is on her and he is going to make sure she is treated like royalty.

• Though he questions some of her cravings, ‘…really? Ok….’ He won’t judge her, but goddamn it’s not something he’d eat.

• Copious amounts of pampering. Spends ridiculous amounts of money to have her swollen feet pedicured once a month, if she doesn’t want that he will do it himself. Her care is nonnegotiable and she is getting big with life inside of her! She needs some reprieve from the constant drain on her body.

• We aren’t even going to lie, they pretty much have sex up until the baby is born, though not like how Obito did. It’s maybe twice a week, which is less often but enough. If she’s not in the mood for it herself, she would offer to relieve him. Though he might feel guilty, so he would just use his mouth in return if she wasn’t opposed to something less invasive on her aching body. She’ll agree, Shisui is talented in those regards.

• She was making tea in the kitchen when her water broke, Shisui was out on a mission!!! She had to get Itachi to send word of bird and less than an hour he’s back. Exhausted and tired, he made it for the birth. He knew that he shouldn’t have taken that mission but she was adamant he do what he felt necessary for their village. Such a understanding woman!

• Is planting kisses to her forehead, cheeks and lips whenever she starts pushing. Holds one of her legs when the baby is finally crowning, and watches the miracle of birth. The fruit of their passion and love is wayfered into this big world. So beautiful and precious. A son, I often hc Shisui would name his first son Kagami. (I’m pretty sure the series alluded them being related).

Shisui is a very outdoorsy guy and loves to take you along with him. Training, a walk in the forest, watching the cherry blossoms bloom during spring and the leafs turn red during fall. If it's outside he'll love it, though occasionally he just wants to relax at home and be alone with you.

Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

He loves your kind heart, how caring you are with your loved ones. It always warms his heart whenever your good heart shows and makes him want to pull you close.

His favourite physical trait is your neck. He loves kissing it more than anything. This stems from the fact that it takes a lot of trust to let someone be close to their neck, because of how fragile it is. He loves that you trust him enough to let him kiss your neck

Comfort - How do they comfort their s/o?

He will first and foremost try to solve your problem, helping you look at the problem logically instead of emotionally. He's very intelligent so will easily propose multiple solutions.

Of course he'll also give you a shoulder to cry on, patting your back gently as you let everything out.

Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Shisui is a practical guy and will first and foremost try to solve the problem before focusing on the emotional side. That of course doesn't mean he doesn't care about your feelings, just that he'd rather get rid of the cause of your sadness or fear

Is there's no real solution behind the problem, he'll pull you close and just do his best to be there for you.

Equal - Are they more dominant or rather passive?

He's in the good middle. He will never make big decisions behind your back and will always seek out a conversation before settling on a choice.

When it comes to smaller, less important things like what to do for your next date he doesn't really see a reason to make a big deal out of it and likes surprising you.

Fight - How are they fighting?

He's very mature about it. There won't be any yelling, but instead a conversation about his and your side as well as the up- and downsides of each decision. Also has no problem admitting mistakes.

But there won't be much fighting with him anyway, he's very observant and good at reading people, so he'll notice if you dislike something even before you do.

Gratitude - How grateful are they in general?

Extremely grateful. He will never think about you or your actions as granted. He will put his everything into the relationship, but also expects the same of you.

Honesty - Do they have secrets?

About himself he doesn't have secrets, though it took him a very long time to tell you about his Mangekyo Sharingan.

However if someone else tells him something, he will not tell you without their consent. He knows that there is a reason they only told him and won't betray their trust like that.

Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow?

You honestly didn't change him much. Shisui is pretty much still the same person before and during your relationship. The only change that might happen is that he doesn't think of Konoha as the most important thing anymore, but rather you.

Jealousy- How quickly do they become jealous and how do they deal with it?

Very jealous, very easily. He's an Uchiha, what did you expect?

When jealous he is... absolutely unbearable. Constantly glaring at the person flirting with you as he throws an arm over your shoulder, might just lift you up and leave if the person doesn't get the hint.

Kiss - Are they a good kisser?

A little sloppy at first, but quickly got the hang of it. Not sloppy in the gross way but rather the 'i have no real idea what I'm supposed to do' way. But he improved drastically and within only a few weeks he became the best kisser.

Love confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

His original plan was probably to take you to a restaurant for lunch, pay for the meal and confess to you on a walk after lunch.

In reality it happened on a mission where he got badly hurt and out of worry he'll die without having you told his feelings he just blurted it out, wanting you to know. Once you two reached the Medic you told him you reciprocate his feelings he almost forgot about the pain in his stomach.

Marriage - Do they want to get married?

Definitely. Marries you very young as well. He knows you love each other and wants the whole world to know. On top of that he's a pretty possessive guy, so it makes him feel better about you being officially his

Your name, an abbreviation of your name or just a cutesy version of. Also a big fan of calling you (Y/N)- chan

On cloud nine - How do they act when in love?

Not too different from his normal self, at least outwardly. He thinks about you a lot, everything reminds him of you and he imagines little scenarios with you before going to sleep.

Towards you he's a little different, tries to impress you with things that 'show his strength' (carrying your grocery bags, giving you his jacket, randomly carrying you...)

PDA - How open are they with their relationship?

He likes PDA, will hold your hand, put his hand on the small of your back or waist and give you soft, short kisses in public. He just wants to show the world you're his.

Quirk - A random positive they have in the relationship

Very good at reading people, meaning you won't be able to hide anything from you. Now, if you don't want to talk about it he will obviously leave you alone, but it also makes it very easy for him to avoid fights or hurting you.

Romance - How romantic are they?

Very romantic guy at heart. Often takes inspiration from movies or books to recreate those moments with you.

Prefers making things for you rather than buying them. Self-picked flowers, home-made food, that kind of stuff. Thinks that even if the bought things are of higher quality, the effort flowing into them is more important (and he's right)

He'll help you through anything, but also wants you to achieve them yourself. He won't do the things you're struggling to do, but rather help you find solutions.

Loves trying new things, thinks it keeps the spark alive and flaming. Please offer new things as well, otherwise he'll think you don't enjoy it.

Very understanding and empathetic. He himself has gone through a lot in his life so chances are high that he can relate to your situation.

This man is a menace. Constantly needs you to be touching him, always cuddling, holding hands, his head on your lap, he will always touch you in every possible way.

He's a little whiny when missing you. Takes one of your shirts and uses it as a pillowcase.

If you're on a mission he always has a nervous feeling in his stomach. He knows you're strong and trusts your abilities, but the horrific what if? will never leave him.

Zeal - How far are they willing to go for their relationship?

He would do anything for you, no matter the cost. You're truly the most important thing in his life, nothing is able to compare.

He'd give up his own well-being and life for you and would even betray Konoha for you (but only as truly last resort).
