I dont really care if you use the term bisexual or pansexual, but what i DO care about is that you understand that bisexuality at NO stage in history was EVER trans-exclusionary. Bisexuality has always included trans folks, and non-binary folks, and the entire spectrum of gender between male and female, as well as Definitively Gender and agender. It has ALWAYS meant "attraction to more than one gender." It has NEVER meant "attraction to cis men and women only."

So, pan, bi, use whichever label you will. But do NOT buy into the recent-years innacurate concept that bisexuality is attraction to cis men and women only, because thats literally never been the case.

it's valentine's Day, and you woke up excited about spending the day with your boyfriend. barbatos said a week earlier that he would be with you and you made a lot of plans, bought a lot of stuff, and cleaned your schedule. you just have to find him after RAD.

you go for your classes and follow through with your day like always. the ring bells and you are almost jumping at the halls. everyone seemed to be with their significant other and you wanted to be with your stoic demon that way.

except when you find barbatos he is going through diavolo's paperwork with a frown. you shrug it off and walk straight to him, smiling.

"hey, barbs!" you greet, waving your hand. he turns his head and smiles at you, replying "good morning, dearest. how is your day going?"

you just babble a little about your classes and some gossip you heard from the student sitting behind you, a little nervous about bringing up the plans you made. he hums to show he is listening, but his green eyes are scanning through the various words of budget, percent, and other things you didn't bother to try to understand.

"so... you busy?" you say carefully, watching his reaction. he doesn't take his attention of work, simply murmuring a "yes".

"but you're gonna be free later, right?"

"i'm afraid not, love."

you frown. "but... you said we were gonna spend valentine's day together..." you trail, trying to not let the disappointment slip through your words, but failing. "i'm very sorry, but i can't. diavolo is currently dealing with a matter that surged and he needs me to finish the paperwork. the deadline is today."

"can't you ask lucifer to do it? just for today!" you try to argue but he frowns heavier. "mc, i need to do this personally. lord diavolo asked me to do it." he's out of the pet names, and you back off a little, but not totally.

you guys engage in an argument, he saying he can't put holidays above working and you replying that one day wouldn't kill him. you huff a "fine by me!" before storming out of the room dramatically.

it's been a few hours since then. you are pouting in your bed, a romantic comedy on your tv the only sound of the room, and ridiculously sad with how happy the lead looks and you could be - you should be like this with him right now.

the butler feels guilty. he stopped to think about it and he realized you put effort into the day, and he ruined it.

your demon talked to lucifer on the phone, wondering if he should ask him for help with the paperwork when the prideful demon just mumbled "i can do that for you, barbatos. leave it at my office and go enjoy the day with your lover."

later, his mind brainstorms ideas of how to make up to you. he takes the day off, leaving the responsibilities of the castle with little D.

calls solomon for help and tells him the whole story before waiting for suggestions. the sorcerer is useful: they go out and buy some things you would like, and barbatos takes on himself to make dinner for both of you, hoping you would accept.

once he knows everything is ready, the green-haired guy decorates the garden at the castle and sets a table for you both there. actually dress up and for once goes out of his rad outfit, nervously frowning as he sends you a message.

you pick up the phone still a little grumpy and your body jerk off the bed once you see it's your boyfriend. the message leaves no room for misunderstanding: "good evening, dearest. i'm for the earlier events and i was hoping you could forgive me and let me make up to you over dinner."

your fingers type an answer quickly: "ok".

hoping out of bed, you get ready and leave the house of lamentation on your way to where barbs lives and works. he is in the hall waiting for you, smiling. takes your hand, slow steps guiding you through the classy walls "shall we?"

you nod, squeezing his gloved hand a little. as you two walk, he turns his head at you, and you don't notice until his voice echo through your ears: "you look stunning, my love".

you thank him and say he looks good too. you reach the garden and seriously, he used some magic to make it gorgeous. solomon is there, unfortunately, winking at you as he disappears and leaves you both with the nice dining table. long fingers let go of yours to pull your chair and he sits down right in front of you.

the rest of the night is great. you guys have dinner, he takes you to walk around the garden, gives you his presents and you just feel bad for not bringing his. little touches to your lower back, and he takes the gloves to hold your face as he kisses you.

makes up for it thankfully and promises he will put more thought into it because it's important to you <3
