singlets are so freaaking weird with drawing yin-yang or talking about them, they are not conjoined twins guys idk how to tell you this but its confirmed its "double personality" as Marco's og design put it. They are a system............ -a system whos host is a yin-yang fictive

I'm answering this right after the other Yinyang system-related asks to emphasize that different people have different interpretations of 'em. Yinyang exists in this strange limbo of not being 100% confirmed to be a system, but then... if they aren't then what are they lol. They're being written like a system in season 3 but is that intended? Who knows??

I doubt the writers have done any research on the subject. Glances at. Every other marginalized character they've written. Maybe this'll be another situation where they do it retroactively, but unfortunately, until they do we don't have much to go off of. System Yinyang could be really good in the case the writers address how they've historically written plurality, which I hope they do at some point no matter what they decide to canonize.

i never saw yinyang as a system... and when i have headcanons like that it's kind of hard for me to get pulled out of them unless it's very explicitly implied or just straight confirmed (which i doubt they will do considering that would mean they did the evil alter stereotype twice...)? it's a very very valid way to see them don't get me wrong there's a lot of reasons to see them that way and i have nothing against people who do, i just personally never saw them as that and now that i've had my own headcanons for so long it's hard to think anything else. it's just like, they're literally a living breathing religious symbol, i had always thought it'd be something more along the lines of that. like spiritual connection incarnate, or something

SIGH yeah. Inanimate Insanity system representation has never been great, and just because they're writing Yinyang better now than they were before it doesn't exactly erase the heavy stereotypes they've leaned into. Not only for the evil alter trope as you've said. Animationepic sells a fucked up yinyang religious symbol plush in their merch store completely devoid of all the context it's intended to carry, and I wish they wouldn't do that. If we're gonna get system representation there's gotta be better characters out there for it.

I'm not sure if I ever actually submitted this confession or if I only thought about doing it, but

I like,, outright started hyperventilating when Saw got out in TPOT. I was so utterly shocked that I had to pause the episode and take a few moments to just breathe. and process. Saw's a huge comfort character for me and I got completely blindsided, I was certain that Gaty would be the one to get out. I quickly calmed down, but that moment of shock made me shaky while watching the rest of the episode. I'm really too attached to these characters

Also, am I allowed to have an anon name? (made the asks about Pen and Eraser having a horrible friendship + about not liking the recent TPOT episodes after Satomi left) If so, I'd like to be called Pen Anon :]

Oh no :( I'm sorry that happened. I've found BFB and TPOT can be good at building elimination suspense, so it's understandable from me at the very least.

i like the small community we have tho :) i mean like. the person who made nsfw tickle art of printer can get somewhere but aside from that, i like this community a lot :)

I really want playdoh from burner to have some character development, and by "character development", I mean, I want playdoh to be a mean character, maybe using some vulgar language, get more aggressive, become more competitive and have a slight bloodlust.

Overall, I just wanna see playdoh become a bitch as the show goes on.

This is probably a silly thing to want but I just think It'd be neat if playdoh was an evil person in burner.

That sounds cool. I wonder what Limey's reaction to that sort of development would be, since Limey is 'evil' in a silly way and this would fall outside the confines of it.

oop-- its me again . okay i have thoughts id like to share

tpot felt like the perfect cup of tea for me, a good amount of sillyness and a good amount of seriousness, it was great! i rlly loved it!

but well after uhhh yk tpot 2 and satomi and pokey no longer working/writing the show which led to tpot notoriously having changed i just . well i have feelings to put it simply im not that big of a fan anymore?

back to the tea metaphor/allegory i came up with in a shower thought: so basically my favorite tea shop changed the recipe of my favorite tea. its still the same tea technically, but it just doesnt taste the same, it doesnt have the flavor i adored as much and so its not my cup of tea anymore.

but, thats fine. i wont make a fuss about it, i wont try to force the tea shop to change the recipe back because whats the use? the workers are just doing their job, im not gonna be mean towards them. there are people who might enjoy this tea all the same, or people who like the new recipe more, and thats great im just not one of those people.

i did try giving another try to the tea, but it just wont do im afraid. though its not like im forced to keep drinking that tea. i can try another teas of different flavors from the same shop or other shops, hell, maybe it doesnt have to be tea, i can try coffees or sodas or waters or anything and feel free to enjoy what i enjoy!

but either way, i appreciate the memories i had about this tea, and the tea shop too i guess.

okay so basically what i mean is that i guess i still care about tpot im just not gonna watch the current episodes anymore.

i guess parting ways with this silly show that was on my mind all the time for 2 years is ????? it kind of strayed me away from being interested in object shows in general (which sucks bcuz i also have my own object shows so 💀) but yeahh um yeahh anyways itll be fine it was sure fun while it lasted! ^__^

All of the wonderful followers of this account who have put up with my extremely irregularly posting schedule - THANK YOU SO MUCH, by the way - are gonna have access to a brand new Discord server I'm making that's meant to replicate the experience through an anonymous confession bot!
